BOOM BOOM BOOM Jayden came back to the balloon booth again, despite the fact that he was obviously terrible at it. He had to beat this game at least once. It was really aggravating.

It was becoming easier to simply let the world around her drown out when she held Avery in her arms. She cuddled the fluffy, grumpy pet, her cheek nuzzling gently against him, and her fingers scratching under his chin. The students had tried to warn her, keep her away, but she wasn't listening very well anymore. She had to hug and love the pet, because it was the only thing left that felt sane right now. "You will love me without trying to scare me, won't you, precious." She whispered in a childish voice, before burying her face into his fur. Quote: Selene is still in this thread! What does that mean? Read this post for details on how to play her game for minipet prizes!

BOOM BOOM BOOMAs always, as the game seemed to reset every so often, the Isukun found himself wandering back. He wanted a bit more practice at this since he'd... been doing poorly. He needed to improve because he didn't enjoy doing things halfway. Oh, and the pets running the place were cute, if not a bit grouchy.
So along he went, collecting a few darts before eying the new setup. He could do this, he'd done it right a few times. So with a breath he idly began throwing them again, a bit surprised as his own results. He'd hit almost every pink balloon, including the three in a row. And he'd only gotten one bad one. Perhaps his luck was back? ...at least it seemed better when he wasn't with people.
And... that was kind of a depressing thought.

BOOM BOOM BOOMAnother set of darts as the balloons were put back in place and he lightly chucked them again. Not nearly as good as his previous run, but again a positive number. What luck indeed.
"I really am better at this when I haven't run into people..." He mumbled half heartedly under his breath. While he shouldn't have been upset, it wasn't exactly a pleasant thought that he was bad at things when his friends weren't around. He sighed a bit sadly before going over his results. Yes. He had almost always done far better when he was alone. This was... getting a bit ridiculous.
Was it bad he was sort of hoping he'd do worse on his last set?

"Rock a bye, scritchums, on the tree top, when the wind blows, the pumpkin will pop.." Selene looked left. She looked right. Nobody was watching her.. nobody had come to claim the pet.. and nobody was telling her to stop anymore. She took this as a sign, and kissed the Avery behemoth on the forehead before whispering creepily into its fur. "You are mine forever." The softest hiss was all that could be heard as Selene slithered away, stealing Avery from his own booth. ((Exited! WITH AVERY. YEAH I STOLE YOUR BOOTH OWNER.))

Mjoll had come back to the booth of darts. She had planned on playing them until she spotted a certain kitsune, One that most defiantly owed her an apology.
The jewel crafter moved over to him her arms crossed, "You're pretty good at that, you plan on giving someone one of those as an apology if you win more?" She asked hovering behind him.
Now normally she wouldn't do such trivial things; however, after the insult he'd given her; she felt it worth her while to see what would happen.

Molan had only just received the two prizes when he heard a voice behind him. Vaguely familiar, but not one that struck a cord until he turned, and spotted the horsewoman standing there looking as displeased as when he'd first met her. She was asking about the pets and... his ability to throw darts. "Only when others aren't around." He quickly blurted without thinking, still a bit sore over his own odd luck. Though he quickly shut his mouth at that point, noting she'd mentioned the pets.
Right, those. Well he didn't need them really. Seeing as he had one of each. "An apology?" He didn't feel he needed to offer one, eyes narrowing a bit. While she might be skilled, he wasn't the time to bow and kneel before someone for something. His sense of pride as a demon as a bit above that. "I needn't offer one. Though they are meant to be gifts." He added, watching the woman. "If stating my thoughts required an apology each time, I would be doing so all day." With that the ball was back in her court. He had no intention of giving it as a 'sorry,' but if she wanted it as a gift that would be fine. He'd done nothing worth apologizing over. At least in his opinion.

BOOM BOOM BOOM Looking completely in disbelief as she watched only one balloon pop. And it was a heartless. That was definitely NOT what she was trying to do. Sulking slightly she decided the best she could do would be to turn it in for a raffle ticket. Maybe she'd be able to get something from there at least.

She'd been observing him and taking in what sorts of things he wore. Really noting that the bells, seemed to be one of the few metal items he wore. "Huh, pity; I suppose that means you don't need any new bells."
She rolled her shoulders and picked up a set of darts as if she planned on ignoring him then. Not worth her time, if he wasn't interested in apologizing. Though as she stood there watching the balloons she was listening to see what he did, the one downfall to having such noisy accessories was when you knew if they were staying or leaving.

And... that hit a note. While she wasn't about to drop the apology bit, she mentioned something that caused both ears to perk up, a small rattle of a jingle accompanying this. Yes, Mjoll had managed to get his attention. He watched as she turned away, obviously intending to start playing the game rather than continue dealing with him. Not the best of things, but he hadn't been brought up to be a pushover either. "Oh? Well, you never said anything regarding metalworking. Merely jewels." He slowly replied, tilting his head to one side with a quick swish of his tail.
If she was any good... he didn't particularly want her angry with him. He didn't need to be liked, merely tolerated. "If you are skilled beyond working with merely sparkling gems, certainly that is worth praise. As I've said. I've no use for pretty gems, but... there are certainly other things." At least it seemed she wanted that small poofball of a prize he had, perhaps a bit of bartering for tolerance was in order. Just a bit. Still, it hadn't been the apology she wanted, but it was something?
