I can't sleep. I've been freaking out so bad, I poured a good bit of vodka into my lemonade. That was a mistake, because vodka makes me gag...ewww...no schnapps left in the house.
But now, I'm tipsy in addition to being freaked out.
I made a list of stuff that absolutely needs to get done. I have 18 or so days until I go off to school. uugghh.

Me too, I'm feeling the crappiest of the crappy..now that you're drinking, why don't you come into the drinking thread, and we can chat in there. You'll see it in the main, something about Orphie drinking.

I really need to find some way to do what needs to be done MYSELF...my folks are literally going bankrupt, so they have enough s**t to deal with on their own. I can't so anything until Monday, and I do have a day full of productive housework and seeing my friends tomorrow, but I won't rest easy until I get all my ducks in a row.

Abbi, I assume you are in the USA, yes? If you need help figuring out something for college let me know. I went to a University for about 5 years and now I'm figuring out a community college so maybe I can help. (I'm at Otakon right now so my responses will not be at my normal online times.)

Alrighty, about the financial aid...
I have 17 days or so before I have to be at school. Tuition is due on the 23rd. I don't have a place to live yet, because my parents have no money whatsoever.
I just filled out the FAFSA, and my dad wrote up an appeal letter about the drastic change in income they have, but hasn't sent it yet. We had sent the school a e-mail about this previously, but they kept sending us the wrong forms. We haven't applied for a private loan yet because: My parents credit SUCKS right now, and we have no idea how much aid the school will give us just yet.
At this moment, there really isn't anything more I can do myself (the deadlines for scholarships have passed long ago.) I'm freaking out for probably no reason, but having to rush to get my wisdom teeth out and get a new RX for birth control is certainly NOT helping me calm down. I also need a new computer and clothes and stuff for the place to live that I don't yet have...

Me too. A friend told me tonight that the loan monies will get there when my tuition is due, so wtf am I going to do before that? s**t, man.
On the plus side, I got drunk for the first time tonight. Apparently, I'm a fun drunk. Plus, a friend of mine gave a painting they made for my birthday. My sister made a painting she gave me a couple years ago, so the dorm I may or may not be living in will be better decorated than most. Now, if I manage to get an H. R. Geiger calender, it'd be just perfect. I love me some Geiger.
