a. we're not from Michigan b. it sucks when you're doing a 1+ mile parade 3 times a year at least and playing all high notes plus pep rallies

no explanation needed

Instant Concert-melody and every song included is annoying and gets stuck in your head
Victors-complete high notes for everyone and you get pummeled by football
and there are plenty others but our brains are fried from band camp

I HATE Pomp and Circumstance with a burning passion!!! x.X
You try being the only one in the bass section (other than the bass gituar, but you cant hear it because the amp is set too low >>) that just started playing that year! Dx
Not to mention we were out on the field, (because the people who planned it were just sooo smart) and in the wrong spot so no-one could hear us anyway. >> The worst part is I have to play it 3 more times D:

I agree with those before me who say Pomp and Circumstance. I also say (now don't kill me, read why) that pirates should be burned. I've now played it in every band I've been in, from elementary to high school. It gets stuck in my head SOOO easily.
But I disagree with whoever has said burn a Sousa march or John Williams music. Those guys are the kings of more modern composers.

Jingle Bells when you have to play it in elementary school, and all the 4th graders play, so you have to go super slow and then their parents clap and go, "My child just played a note! YAY!"

never heard of "pomp and circumstane" before. (pm me if u wanna comment on that and possibly send me something so i can see music) ill ask my BD about that song.
I hate the song moon dance even tho it got ez wen i figured out how to do it, but none the less i hate it.
I love the songs March of the Bumbling Wooden Solider, its hilariou i have glissandos and such so i get to play "LASER ON" funny story about that and the percussionist r gonna dump a lot of loud stuff b4 the last 2 quarter notes the band has so its gonna be hilarious , Sleigh Ride and one of our marching band songs Na Na Hey Hey goodbye (we only play it in the stands tho). pm me

misternitsua Omg this year I wanna burn two of our marching band stands tunes: Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne and Hold On by the friggin' Jonas Brothers. I haven't ever rehearsed them, and I already want them to die a slow and fiery death. Also, I dislike our arrangement of American Woman-both snare and quads have too many random strings of 16th notes in cut time in it. I had to play Girlfriend and Hold On too...and they shall burn in the darkest pits of HELLLL....

Viper0san Pomp and Circumstance but I will NEVER have to EVER play it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause I'm a Senior, but that is sad too even though I hate that song SOOOOOOOOOOOO much. thank god i am a senior too. another song that should be burned is persistence...it is hell on flute

The tune I want to burn is An American Celebration, it is not a bad song all together but i have to rest for 82 friggin measures! I think the composer hated the oboe, one part I had to rest for 5 measures play a half note and rest for 8 more measures!
