I understand that you're not happy to post the demerit system LadyHealingHands, it's not something that anyone wanted the Guild to have. Unfortunately, it has been noticeable - but hopefully it won't be needed forever!
I'm hoping that if we do have any issues, that they're resolved through PMs without having to ban anyone..

The demerit system is, unfortunately, a necessary evil. How else are members going to learn to take posting seriously? We've tried warning them, after all. sad

What does it mean when you say "posting seriously"?

Some members like to hurry up to the next year by posting a large quantity of quick posts that don't always follow the literacy rule. Lately it hasn't been too bad, but it's definitely been a problem before.

I agree - posting isn't just getting to the next year but getting to know your housemates and generally having a good time!

It wouldn't really matter if they're quick, right? Because the posts have to be two sentences+ and literate to graduate...

Oh, wow... I hope I didn't mess up with the literacy rules... I don't have much time to post because I am always in a hurry. I need more computer time!
-hopes that all posts follows requirements-

How about Spelling for Dummies? I mean, I am in Gryffindor, and I can't produce a single spell. And Hogwarts is suppose to be the best Wizarding school in Britain (I'm guessing that only Hogwarts have the houses Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff because those are the names of the people who founded the school...)!
Oh, and I once misspelled "misspelling." Yah. It was funny when I realized that. XD

xuebiii: I am in Gryffindor too!
Orna: Yes out plans are quite complicated. Due to my grandmothers passing last week, my grandpa is coming on Tuesday, with my aunt. They are leaving Friday morning! My moms side of the family is ALL coming on Friday afternoon! *sighs* How about yourself any plans?

My parents and middle bro are going to my Aunt's house to celebrate Thanksgiving with her and my two cousins. It's a little awkward because my Uncle won't be there - he out of the blue announced he wanted a divorce a little over a month ago.
So this Thanksgiving the family is a bit splintered, but there is still a lot to be thankful for smile
