Ulani squeaked in terror as she was caught in the abomination’s attack. She’d thought she’d been quick but clearly, she wasn’t quick enough. Like a ball being tossed to the ground, she smacked down and tumbled backward several times before coming to a stop.
Oof. That hurt.
She pulled herself up, tears beginning to whelm in her eyes. This was way more than she was bargaining for and even with her desire to help and protect, it was a bit hard to shake the shock off. She climbed to her feet and shook it off, sniffling and just focusing a weak thundershock at the foot of the monster. She had to keep fighting right? Now was not the time to just give up, as much as she maybe wanted too.

Being tiny meant that Dice certainly had more distance to cover. But that was okay because, with the level of determination he had to get there and start bashing nightmares, he made it. And boy, did this thing get much bigger the closer you were to it.
He was practically right at its foot. Which was excellent because the abomination was so huge, it was practically impossible for him to miss! The baby Cubone gave a loud squeaky roar up at the pokemon, bone club raised and began to join in the battle, chucking it at the ankle of the creature, the bone spinning and smacking twice as the move, when properly done, often did. Now was the time to destroy some nightmares!

Prim flinched when a giant hand came crashing down, but instead of a crushing impact the ground only quaked beside her; above the shaking was the unmistakable sound of pain from a friend, and she opened her eyes to watch as Ulani stumbled back from an attack. She opened her mouth, arm extending out to try and grab her, but she was too far away, and it wasn't as if reaching for her would do anything. But, it was instinctive. Then she saw red.
If looks could kill, that thing would be 20 feet under. Her cheeks puffed out as her face took on a deep shade of red, giving her the appearance of a foreign flower. Her entire body felt hot, she was practically steaming. In fact she literally was. Vapor curled from off of her body, and in a blind rage she hurled what should have been an energy ball at the feet of the beast. But it wasn't plasma, instead water, and as it splashed against the ground and against its feet steam rose up from the ground, quick to evaporate as it moved upward. She didn't know what it was, but she did know she wasn't done yet.
A quick twirl in the air and an army of petals surrounded the creature's entirety, cutting into its body before dropping harmlessly to the ground. Honestly, even that didn't feel like enough, but she had to check on Ulani -- even if they were in a battle, her friend had taken a nasty attack and she wanted to make sure she was okay. She raised her hands towards Ulani, then patted both of her cheeks before pulling her into a quick hug. They didn't have too much time for this sort of reassurance, but.. she just wanted to make sure she was okay.
Afterwards she pulled away, then held both her hands up into a fighting stance. They were still going to get through this!

There were so many pokemon now! It was actually pretty hard for Luna to find a place where she could squeeze in an attack. Pretty much all the small pokemon could hit was the parts of the large creature's feet closest to the ground. But at least it looked like it was doing a tiny bit of damage. Like, small scuff marks. Hopefully it would be enough of a contribution to help this thing fall.

With the additional firepower this new wave brought with them, the damage was starting to really show. Floating high above, Darkrai was starting to look rather worried as his creation actually staggered from the force of the hurled attack. "Do not let them push you back!" Darkrai commanded, and again the creature let out a roar. "BIIIIIDOOOOOOF!" As the beast bellowed, it once again stepped forward to block the way of the army of pokemon, a clawed leg striking Chickpea in the process.
