Journals Of LabTech 062  Friday, October 29, 2004 @ 4:44AMExperiment #410042 is coming to an end. We were successful at producing a prototype that totally out performed the previous solutions. We've started to noticed on a side experiment that #410042 has the unique ability to transfer from one host to another. This behavior might proof the solution to be not suitable as a drug or medicine. I wonder if that behavior was originally accounted for? Test subjects had never gotten a chance to test the true power of the experiment. I'm getting impatient. We need to get more and better results soon or I won't be able to wrap everything up in time . . .

Why would I want to waste time playing cards when I get to work in one of the coolest places in the world! Its like this fort, and I run around and hide from LabTech013. He keeps following me around the building ... Wanna see my new hamsterillo pet? He's very cute. I call him 'Pillow' and take him everywhere with me ... He is very friendly and likes to nibble on my skin. He keeps making me bleed. Stop it, Pillow! Wow, Mr. Gambino is so great!. He gives us pets and lets us work IN a SECRET UNDERGROUND TEST FACILITY! My gosh, I love saying that: I LOVE WORKING IN A SECRET UNDERGROUND TEST FACILITY! heart

Journals of LabTech 247  Friday, October 29, 2004 @ 5:29 AMWhere to begin, where to begin. Using the company email seems to be helpful, even if it is cutting into my productivity time. Some of the techs are enthusiastic about their work. I mean, we do get to do amazing research, and we do get to pioneer the scientific frontier of Gaia, but really, it isn't that fun. G Corp has been nice to me, but why did I ever want to start sleeping in the office? I know I had an apartment on the Isle. It was a nice apartment too.
It's been nice to talk to people. For some reason, I had shut off all contact, but I haven't a clue why I would shut myself away. Right, the people.
It seems the injection really truly is ineffective in a percentage of the people it has been given to. Additionally, increasing the injection does not seem to increase the regeneration rate. Personally, my memory seems to be failing, and yet, I seem to be remembering other things- you know, life before G Corp and all that. Was I really happier back then? Something feels very weird. I have these memories, but they can't possibly be mine... I've worked for G Corp for so long. But, I digress. Given the current status, I am going to have to recommend to Mr Gambino he halt production until we can do more testing. Though what we will test with, I have no idea.
Our storage facility here at G Corp was broken into, but it had to be internal. The room with the vials from project Dominique were scattered on the floor, the rabbit injections were out of place, and the crates for our tech injections were broken into. After inventory losses and counts, almost 95% of our stores were gone. Gambino was furious, but nobody in the lab would come forward. I don't think anyone could come forward; nobody knew what had happened.
My mailbox has been filled, however, with reports about a mysterious "vial" floating around. A Gaian has also offered to procure one of these vials. With it, I shall attempt to figure out what is going on. Apparently a "LabTechX" is selling them. Although, by the mail I have been getting, there seems to be a public opinion that I am said lab tech. Nonsense! Stealing from a company, no matter what the reason is, is wrong.
Time to catch up on company mail...

Still dunno what the results are for, but outstanding is always good in my book. biggrin Now we're ready to mass-produce and distribute to the population. Lab Tech 247 is leading the effort along with the entire lab tech under his guidance to insure the successful launch. This is very exciting; I'm so lucky to be apart of this. biggrin I wish I could tell all my friends about it, but with my Level 1 access, emailing is prohibited. crying When this is over, I'm sure to get that promotion and Level 2 permission. Any hoot, Ah crap! Where did I leave my coffee mug? gonk Need Coffee. Need more work.

11:14 AMIn the last two days, I've started getting weird memory flashbacks, or, at least I think they're memories... If I never remembered them in the first place, are they really memories or did I make them up? I'll just call them "episodes" from here on out to stop confusing myself. sweatdrop While I was collecting the usual daily data analysis into a folder to take to 247 last night, I suddenly had this episode pop into my head where I was walking to labtech 048's desk on sublevel 16. He wasn't at his desk, but his coat was on his workchair. I reached into one of its pockets and I had his wallet in my hand. And then I put it in my pocket! eek Gosh, what the heck? I don't understand it at all. Maybe I should I get some more coffee to bring me back to my senses. That coffee is great! Every time I drink, I feel like shouting "GOSH I LOVE WORKING IN A SECRET UNDERGROUND TEST FACILITY!!!" heart

Journals of LabTech 247 Friday, October 29, 2004 @ 5:50 PMThe results so far of the study have been very helpful. So far, just a basic series of tests have been conducted to verify the liquid did, in fact, come from G Corp. That alone is interesting enough to discuss.
It appears the liquid is partially from G Corp, as it bears the mark, seals, and credentials of an experimental product. However, the label on the vial doesn't match the label on the sealed cap. Usually this occurs only on failed experiments or if the project was a multi-sublevel venture. That doesn't make sense though, as the neither of the experiments listed match the sublevel they actually occured on. Perhaps then, these were meerly containers for whatever the final substance is? If so, where is everything that was in the bottles?
I plan on opening the bottle during a late night experiment tonight and discover what exactly is in them.
An update on us techs: nothing beyond what was reported previously. Although, 722's brain activity seems to be slowly decreasing. That is worrysome.
I've been plagued with flashbacks recently, but I would swear they aren't mine. I remember being strapped to a table, under bright lights. I remember phasing in and out of existence. And there was a feeling, like a needle- oh god...

1:12 amI dunno why but I'm still at work. All the labtechs are running around like they are getting prepared for something. My boss 247 tells me that Gambino is throwing a big party later today. I think Gambino is also celebrating 062's retirement at sometime during the party. I'm pretty excited myself. 062 is my favorite uncle. In fact, it was he who got me working here in the secret underground test facility! heart I hope I have time to get ready for the party. 247 says I need to move another 150 containers from sub level 29 to sublevel 13 all by tonite. eek I guess worst case is that I'll show up to the Halloween party dressed up like a scientist! sweatdrop I wonder who else will be there... I hear Mr.Gambino throws the biggest parties! domokun

GOSH, I'm still not done moving all the containers... another 5 to go... man, my extra padded palms have really carried me through this. And all that working out, I feel really REALLY strong! Ahh.. the benefits of working in a secret underground test facility! heart I saw on the GAIA 9 ACTION news that Gambino's party is gonna be huge! Like the largest house party Gaia has ever known! I'm so stoked!!! UWAAAH!!!! Ok OK, gotta finish moving stuff so I can make it. This is gonna be SOO COOL!!! heart -- Ouch... when moving that last container, I tripped in my excitement and the container broke open. I'm covered in this green liquid. I think I swallowed some of it too... gah. I feel kinda dizzy. Gosh, I better clean this up. I can't look like this at the party... sweatdrop

I wonder what he plans to do for Gino at the party.. What a nice father biggrin I have to get cleaned up and get ready for the party ^__^ I'll wear my new shirt from the LabTech shopping network, as LabTech 138 also seems to enjoy their products smile

Journals of LabTech912  [October 30th, 2004]So... Yesterday on the way to work, I saw someone who looked like a LabTech standing outside the marketplace. He had this really super cute bottle of what he said was combo perfume & lotion, that would make my skin perfect, forever. At only 100g, it was a steal.
Once I got in the lab, of course, I wanted to try it out, but for some weird reason, the cap seems stuck. I can't get it out. I even asked 126 to try to open it, and he couldn't either. And I just wanted to smell it and see what it smelled like. crying
SO, unless I can eventually get the cap off, it was a waste of money. Oh well. gonk

2:07 pmGosh, I arrived at the party a little late... boy the place was PACKED. eek I've never seen so many people crowded into one place! And man, I've heard about stories of Gambino's Mansion being big... but this place was literally HUGE! Like I think I counted like 3487274374289 people there! Anyways, when i arrived, I really had to go pee cause I had been holding it in since I was in such a hurry to move all those containers. I went to where there was supposed to be a bathroom, but inside there were a bunch of naked people playing around with soaps and foam and stuff... that was really embaressing... redface So, then I found this place where all of these l33t looking people were hangin out. I think they called themselves MODels. I asked them where the bathroom was and a few onf them pointed me in different places... so confusing... one guy was trying to tackle me and ask me about some kind of green vial... Crazy MODels... maybe they are addicted to some drug that keeps them all skinny for their photo shoots. Anyways... must find...bathroom....
