He had been right behind her the whole time. Smiling at every time she had told him to hurry up. "I, I captain." He said in return each time. Of course, he wasn't going to tell her that he was right behind her. That would ruin the fun of the game. He was rather surprised at how fast she moved, he had to walk pretty fast to keep up.

He kept calling her captain. She liked it! Moving her little legs faster, she picked up the pace, sniffing all over to try and figure out where she wanted to go. Sniffing, her nose caught something to the left. It smelled like water, and now that she thought about it, she was getting thirsty. Pointing to the left with her paw, she yelled back to him, “We’re going this way! Okay?!” Without waiting for an answer, she had already started walking in the direction. Man, was she thirsty.

With every command, his only reply was "I, I Captain.". He had to turn pretty quickly as she changed directions again. This was kind of fun. Though, where were they going? He didn't recognize any of this. Though, that was the whole point of the game. He just hoped they wouldn't get too lost.

The closer she got, the thirstier she became. He was keeping up now, so she wouldn’t have to worry about him. Pushing through the underbrush, she walked into the light and saw the river. Eager, she ran to the water. It wasn’t really fast, it kind of seemed like it was lazy in a way. Dipping her head down, she took a big gulp of the cool water.

He walked slowly to the edge of the water just in case she was to be carried away, he'd be able to get to her quickly. He wiggled his small tail fluff as he sat down and watched her. The river wasn't moving that fast and it seemed a little low, that was probably because it was summer, and most of the water was being evaporated.

She looked over her shoulder to see him sitting there watching her. “Aren’t you thirsty? Because after I am done here, we will continue exploring.” She nodded, agreeing with herself. If he did get thirsty later, she would probably still try and find water for him, but she wouldn’t be happy about it!

He shook his head. "No Captain. Not at all." He gave her a smile. Well, maybe just a little thirsty, but it wasn't like he was going to a month without drinking. he could do it later when he wasn't on the look out.

Rolling her eyes she took another gulp then took a step to the left. “Hmm, back into the forest or follow along the river?” she thought out loud. Looking at the trees, and then glancing at the river she decided. “We’ll follow the river for a little while. How does that sound?” she asked.

Hakim nodded and stood up. "I, I captain. Sounds like a brilliant plan indeed!" He gave her a solute and waited for farther orders. This game was quiet fun, and they didn't have to try to find each other. Exploring was much better then hiding and finding.

Nodding, she started walking along the river. Noticing that the water she was walking next to going the other way, she turned and followed it. “We’ll go this way!” With that, she marched along next to the river, hoping he hadn’t her mistake.

Hakim didn't point out that she was going the wrong way, it would have probably made her upset. He kept quiet until she changed directions pretty fast. "I, I Capitan" He said again with a smirk. This was rather amusing. He wondered what others would say if they saw an adult fallowing a kit. It made him want to laugh. He didn't care though.

The way he said that, she knew that he had noticed. Trying to be inconspicuous, she looked over her shoulder. He looked amused. That wasn’t good. What if now he didn’t think her a good Captain? When the question popped up in her mind, she almost turned to ask him. But she controlled herself. For if she did ask it, he would probably think her to be a horrible captain for doubting herself.
As she had been thinking, she unknowingly had picked up her pace, pushing past the bushes and passing trees so that it all looked to be a blur.

Hakim raised a brow as he watched her speed up. Was something wrong? He moved faster to keep up. It was as if the game and somehow ended "Ambrosia?" He asked trying to keep up with her. It was hard with brush hitting his legs. It seemed she could get under most of them fastly.

She had been thinking of all possible outcomes of what he would say. She didn’t want him to think less of her. Faintly hearing her name, she stopped and turned around, a look of confusion on her face. “Yes?”

"Are you ok? You look Upset?" He asked her He slowly stopped and looked down at her. He hoped she didn't think he was laughing at her. He just was enjoying himself. For once, it seemed.
