... I'd like to go, once I know when the date is I can plan effectivlly. I'm hoping to be living with my BF by then so hopefully he wont mind.
If Triste wanted to come she and I could always get on the same plane together since she is the closet one to me. We'd just be flying fomr which ever airport was closet to her. Buses for Me are no problem.
I wonder if I could get a buscross contry.. I wonder if that would be lessexpensive then a plane?
You know calling me by my gaia name would be allright cuse it's who I am IRL. biggrin

Busses are usually infinately cheaper, but take alot longer.
I will go to Maine at some point... it may take a couple years tho... I don't travel too much anymore.
Now... I'll have a solid date as more people become aware of their schedules for 2007, althought it is looking like late or early summer from the responses people have tendered thus far...
I'm going to try to have an extended weekend style convention, starting on mayhaps a Friday, and then going strong thru the weekend, and wrapping up later in the next week.

Yeah, taking a Greyhound bus from Maine to California, you'd have to start Monday or so if you wanted to get there Friday.
Mr. Fiddler, if you don't mind, if I'm traveling cross country, I'll be plagueing you with my feline presence for more than an extended weekend. heart
One tip about Greyhound- Make friends with no one. People are scary. Do NOT read someone's magazine over their shoulder; You'll be scarred if that isn't your particular fetish. Do not have hour long late night debates with rodeo men in cowboy hats over conspiracy theories, the bible, and politics.
And they like to throw stuff on the bus, so make sure anything breakable is well packed. Keep to square-ish luggage. sweatdrop
Mr. Fiddler wants to take a trip to SC sometime in the next two years, right? Surely there's business here... ninja

Darn. I definately won't be able to go. I don't think a 15 (or 17 by then) year old would be able to fly from Singapore to California by himself. And scratch buses, cars, bikes, vans, trains and walking for obvious reasons.
Looking at all those talk about road trips and bus whatevers, I realise that Singapore is REALLY small. I mean, it takes at the very most 2 hours to get from the east to the west. By bus.
