It seems the more gaia becomes popular, the worse the user populace gets, probably because normal people are secretly like that -.o;

I think that part of it has to do with greed. Almost anyone on gaia these days that haven't been on since 03, 04, or early 05 are mainly only thinking about getting gold and expensive items. It's as if they've lost their passion for a great community and have traded it in for more items and cooler stuff.

It doesn't help that they encourage each other. Plus, those who would actually would want to have an intelligent conversation get scared away because they think that all of gaia is like chatterbox and such.

Shadow__Dweller Thought we could have a thread to discuss Gaia 3nodding What do you guys think of the donation items lately? I think since they stopped making angelic/demonic items, they've really gone downhill. I think they're clutching at straws for ideas...they seem very random. I like the weapons as items, and I think so do alot of people, and they should work on it more. But they seem to be producing similar items over and over and just changing them slightly...like armour and scarves and halos...it's getting a bit boring now sweatdrop Feel free to share any opinions on any elements of Gaia 3nodding I agree! Maybe they should make guns! Or if thats too much maybe a water gun? Or paintball gun?

I'd absolutely love them to make guns...I really want some...that's pretty much the only other thing I want with my avatar...but I don't think they'll make them...maybe it's too violent or something..

I joined in January 06 and the main reason I use Gaia is for the metal forum and this guild. I met two of my best friends over it, one of whom I met in real life. So I'd say that the main reason I use Gaia is because of the community. Also, I can send PM's to the few friends I have on Gaia who I also know in real life, which helps alot because one of them doesn't use MSN but is on Gaia all the time.

I'll hangout in the band nerd guild from time to time, but most of my time is spent here. I don't even spend nearly as much time in TTTWND anymore.
