I don't really know what to say about my art. People in real life adore it and think I should go into that profession. People online ignore it or dislike it...mostly ignore. I am still striving for improvement. I prefer to be well-rounded and try many things. I think people online want one solid style, usually anime/manga. I dunno. I'll let you guys comment/critique now, I guess. http://lightedhope.deviantart.com/

Hi. I'm Starre. I suck and I'm desperate to improve. I don't have anything from less than a year ago posted online. The most recent thing on my DeviantArt account are some digital things I made messing around in Photoshop... not drawings or anything, just abstract stuff (and a planet). Oh yeah: a lot of people may say what I do is "anime style" but anime isn't a style. I'm also not trying to imitate anime or anything else. I try to draw realistically, but stuff never comes out right. Mostly because I suck at shading. And fabric folds. And hands, but not as much as shadows and folds. My stuff is also horribly static. I'm also bad at hair. I have some stuff up on my DeviantArt account , but I barely post anything there because I barely finish anything.

...and to die and go to heaven without you... ~:: ||+ Art Shop +|| ::~
Eeeerm..HI! I might join this guild, or try, eventually. But for now, I'mma leech offa y'alls!
Anyways...
They name's Ina. I've been drawing for almost two years. I'm on my second sketchbook and as you can see, I have a shop. I don't liek to be told 'Oh., you draw so well!', because I know, full well, I don't. My hands are shakey and I've still got a long way to go until I'll be able to actually get Anatomy down properly.
I like to work in real media - pencils, pencil crayons, and paper - as opposed to digital, because I don't have a tablet, and my hand shakes with the mouse. So, naturally, most of my stuff will be pencil work.
Regardless, I'm here for some real critiques. I wanna know what i can improve on, how I can improve, and maybe even get some pointers from the greater artists out there!
~:: ||+ kimi to boku no banninda +||::~ ...would be hell...

So far I'm no where near good enough for this guild, but I am looking for help. I've been trying for a long time to improve - but so far it's yeilded no results. I really want to learn how to draw in anime style and learn to copy other styles. Here are some of my drawings:

Hi! I'm Zebee, I'm 17 and I've been in love with art and making art since I was little. I do a lot of self portraits and anime portraits but I hope to expand a lot more in the future. I do a lot of traditional work, but sometimes I do digital work. I hope I can get a lot of good suggestions from posting my art in this guild. Here's a link to the post with my art in it : http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=2721601

Hey, I'm a freshmen art student with a great love of (good) comics, which got me drawing in the first place. I love critiques, negative or positive. (I'm a secret attention whore, zomg! ninja ) Mostly I do graphite and ink, though I love to putter around with Sculpey and acrylic. Pretty much for right now I'd love to get some feedback on a WIP for my Drawing 2 final projecct: For this we picked an artist and then had to create something original following their process and style. (My artist is Mike Mignola.) I'll be inking this, in either cro-quill or Rapido... I prefer cro-quill, but I think Mignola uses technical pens.... this is supposed to be Sweeney Todd, btw. (And no, not a member right now but that would be damn spiffy if I were.)

CaloDemon http://lightedhope.deviantart.com/ everything is peachy, but the faces kind of throw me off. especially on your latest submission. the colouring and anatomy are superb but once my eyes move back up, it's kind of unsettling. plz look @ ur frends faces n draw them thx. your portraits are good but the i want to see more of your finished works before i say anything else. ): sorry to whoever i didn't respond to on this page. you've either already been accepted into the guild or you just need to work on anatomy in general. sketch the unsuspecting public!!!!! scream stressed

Ayo! I applied for this guild a few days ago and haven't yet been accepted or rejected, but I thought I'd do a quick intro here anyway since I'm unsure if I'm currently 'art faggy' enough for this place. So... 20 year old Aussie girl, been drawing semi-seriously for 4~ish years, slightly more seriously (as in less anime style) for a couple of months. I'm mainly a digital artist at the moment, working with Photoshop CS and trying to get into Illustrator. I've been trying to learn proper anatomy lately, and I'm seeing a big improvement with the small amount of work I've done with it so far. I like good critiques, which is why I am here ^_^ Mostly anime stuff over at my DA accountSketches and studies at my CA sketchbook and sketch blog (posts by Chisa only, its a group thing)

Hey there, Bas here. I'm the one who makes the art. Thy makes the music. 3nodding
I'm 24, and have been drawing since, well... Since I could pick up a thing with which to draw. xd My favourite part of colouring books were the inside covers. biggrin
I thought I'd have a go at this guild, because I feel like I've come to a standstill with the quality of my art, and I'd like to improve. So I'm donning my ego-armour and hopping in however I can.
I have a DA account, by ze way: http://bastianbux.deviantart.com
And yes, I know an overwhelming percentage of my artwork is of Thy and I. Shush. >>

Hello everyone. I'm John. See John Draw. See John Post. See John get Angry at the fact that everyone seems to like what he posts and will comment with crap like "OMG KAWAII!!" or "THATS SO GOOD I WISH I COULD DRAW LIKE THAT". See John look for true constructive comments. See John find Art Fags. See John Smile. smile Now for other useless information: I am 16 years of age and have been truely working on drawing for currently 3 years. The main mediums I work with are traditional pencil and paper, Photoshop CS (I heart my Wacom Tablet), CorelDRAW 11, dabble in Micromedia Flash, and paint with acrylics a bit when I can afford it. I ache for critique like zombies ache for brains. Occult Oblivion 12: Female Fury 12: Inspired by I AM 8-BIT's gallery on the 8-bit games that influenced their childhood. If you can guess the game that dominated an unhealthy part of my childhood you win a special pat-on-the-back curtesy (sp?) of me. Go crazy.

I actually probably should have posted here ages ago, maybe I have already... I really dont remember. S: ANYWAY. My name is Nadina, I'm currently 14, turning 15 next month. I've been art-ing for a long time now, and it's my most favourite thing to do, I guess I'd just like a few tips on developing my style and drawing backgrounds and things like that. I usually know whats wrong with my pictures, but sometimes I just like to leave things in there wrong. o_O

Here's something I've just finished, ignore the crappy background and the jpeg and photobucket BATTERING of it. >_< The background was a quick thing because I was braindead. See, I know the ears are silly inside, just silly, and that his shoulders are messed up (and his nostril is almost non existant) and the light sourcing is a little messed up, but I'm a go with the flow type person so I just leave it, bad habit I know.
I'd like you to have a look through my DA Gallery anyway, because it has some of my manga type things aswell as observational drawings for class and suchlike. A lot of it is old but I do try to update it when somethings worth putting up. There's a few class things that I'd still like to scan, because it's my best work, really, and it's not there. >: Oh, one last note. ^_^ If you see a picture called "King and Queen" in my DA gallery, it was the real sort of applied beginning of the colouring style that is shown in the Catboy sort of picture above. Just as a random fact. xD
Sorry for the long intro, I cant half ramble. >_<
