Aysel squeaked in alarm as the door slammed open, wincing as she saw who it was. "Sorry, Professor..." she apologized, bowing her head as she followed him back out, meek in contrast to Antigone's defiance. However, she stayed next to the girl, shrugging. "We'll go some other time.."

Grave saw Torrid finally break to pull on his coat, and reached out his empty hand to cling to the back of Torrid's sleeve. Grave's other hand still held tightly to Ubel's hand, and his glances towars the city grew more and more furtive. Oo, this wasn't pleasant at all...

As the Professor continued his story Elanin frowned, the story was definatly taking a bad turn. She turned her head and smiled at Nadyrr, "Yeah, that would suck, but at least you'd have time to come to grips with it, and maybe you'd not die yanno?" As the area around them grew darker and more girm she scooted a little closer to Nadyrr and rubbed her arms. "Is it just me... or is it getting darker?"

Ubel mewled quietly and looked up at Grave, lips trembling a bit from the cold. "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea... it's getting frightening," he admitted carefully, offering a sheepish smile.

Lelaus "You realize of course, you guys should never attempt to try what Padmir tried..."Padmir's Story Padmir had her heart set on finding a furfur and binding it to her Certed Technoring that she had procured from Kortus months before but had not been able to use. So, breaking countless rules, Padmir snuck out of the White District on her own in the middle of the night in the attempt to hunt down a furfur.

"Morrow!" Dariyn made an attempt to call out to the other, but it ended up being more of a squeak...drat it all. The story and their surroundings had made shivers of fear run up and down his spine. Darting over, he grabbed the artist's arm and didn't look like he intended to let go anytime soon.

Grave nodded. "I think I'd feel a little safer if it was Dameron or Bellona leading us...someone responsible and not so...carefree? This doesn't seem like the place to be telling us scary stories and leading us into who knows where..." Grave was getting skittish, his ears picking up every little sound and causing him to grow jumpy and skittish.

Morrow blinked then smiled. "Hallo, Lover... what's all this about?" He stroked the other's cheek to still his emotions. "It's all right.. I promise.. m'here now.. now.. what has pulled you into such a tizzy?" No one would ever recieve as much kindness from Morrow as Dariyn did. The other boy had stirred an emotion in Morrow long forgotten and lost in paintings. He nuzzled Dariyn. "It's all right, my love.. it's all right. I won't let anything hurt you."

Biting his bottom lip, Ubel nodded slightly, breath catching and body tensing when a sound caught his attention, before he found himself wondering if he had even really heard it. A sigh escaped him and he rested his head on Grave's shoulder for a moment.

Torrid straightened, feeling Grave's hand on his coat. The urge to protect the two of them rose up in him, subduing his fear and refreshing the confidence in his step.
Lelaus broke in with the second part of the story, and after he was finished, Torrid piped up with a question. "Proffessor!" he called to him.
"What's a furfur?"

Antigone shivered slightly, and scolded herself for opting to stay in her skirt, rather than change into more sensible pants. Still having her arm linked with Aysel, she rejoined the group, and the story. Her Academic's mind and eye for detail didn't miss the curls of fog, the distinct chill to the air, the ambiance of the story... "Spooky, huh?" she asked with a grin at her new-found friend.

Lelaus started suddenly when Torrid addressed him. "Huh? What? Oh, yeah... A Furfur is a type of monster that has a semi-telescopic neck, a soft coat of fur and can talk. They're incessant liars, but a lot of Empyreans consider them 'cute' and try to make pets out of them. They're a handful...but if you train 'em right..." Lelaus nodded with a grin.

Nadyrr shrugged a little, he wasn't all that worried he just wouldn't go to a fortune teller even if he had a chance to. Looking over at Elanin rub her arms he frowned a bit glancing around, it might be getting a little darker. He hoped it wouldn't get too dark, because then he wouldn't be able to see everything!
A thought occured to him, "are you getting cold?"
