Lt. Chambersite chooses to Guard the Youma in case it gets back up. (Points: TB Calculated and Linked)
Chambersite knew that attacking the youma directly was bound to have no effect. What he didn't expect was for the turnip toy to bounce off of the youma and smack him in the face. And it smart! After taking a few moments to regain his composure, Chambersite dismissed the toy. "Going to have to be more careful about that next time." He thought as he rubbed the side of his face that had been hit.
Eventually, the youma went "down". And by that it just fell over and stopped moving. Unlike when most youma were defeated however, this one didn't disappear. Of course, having watched enough horror movies, that meant only one thing. That it was going to come back to "life" and attack all of the unsuspecting agents that ignored it. Well not him! He would stay put and guard it! He did feel a bit nervous when he saw most of the others searching in the Smithy, but someone had to guard this thing! Luckily there were a few others who had the same idea, so he wasn't alone in all of it.

Corrupt Sailor Hatsya chooses to explore the Smithy for any sign of a shard.
Tiberius chooses to explore the Smithy for any sign of a shard.
A deep and rumbling purr came from the felid creature living it up on Kamacite's shoulder as he ignored both the show going on and the folks around them in favor of the delicious, delicious ear wax excavated from his senshi's ear.
Laying it on thick, kiddo - he's not around, you don't have to suck so hard. But Tibs didn't speak, he just purred and licked at his chops - at least until Kamacite shoved him off and began throwing a tantrum at being honored with providing bounty for the Mauvian. Rude.
"You're using that garbage language sounds like frogs again. Don't be such a fusspot." Kamacite made as if to ******** stomp off like an angry virgin got her titties tweaked, wehn the illusion faded, leaving them - and others - in a run-down shithouse of a smithy.
Oh. Yeah. Those stupid ******** gears. They ought to just...recast or re-engineer the ********, but whatever.
"C'mon Twinkle Tush, don't get upset. It's gonna be alright. Let's just find this stupid gear and get the ******** out."

[Prompt 6 - Answers]
Choice 1
The characters waiting outside near the youma hear a second loud roar - but it isn’t coming from the tank youma, who is still lying face down on the ground. This time a flying youma appears out of thin air, hovering over the lifeless body of the tank on the ground. This one is also humanoid in appearance, but smaller and covered in a long robe that covers any sign of a lower body. It opens its mouth and roars again, loud and ear-splitting, and the tank youma begins to stir.
The characters standing guard can do nothing but back away while they watch the sorcerer revive the youma they just put so much effort into taking down. +3 points
Choice 2
Inside the Blacksmith’s shop, the characters that chose to explore are having a bit more luck. There is one thing that has remained constant from the vision of the Earth Knights putting on their display - the forge. It is still burning bright and true, filled with hot coals glowing in a range of purple and blue fire. It’s much too hot to touch and the closer they get, the bright it glows - obviously protected by some type of magic. Just inside it seems as if there is something else, but it’s too late to keep investigating.
Outside, a battle has started.

[Prompt 7 - Zone C Finale Battle]
Prepare for trouble, and make it double! [The Boss(es)] are a pair of youma that can’t be fought as single entities, but must be taken on together. One is a short, squat dual axe-wielding youma who is almost impossible to harm with physical attacks while the other is a flying, magic type youma who uses long range illusion magic to incapacitate opponents long enough for his tanky partner to smash them with his axes.
- They have ??? health - they will be dead by time frame rather than actual HP count. - The flying youma has a special attack: the ability to create illusions of being in the village before it was destroyed. If his attack is landed on your character successfully, they will forget where they are an imagine a bustling, busy day at the market.
[For Battle] TWO dice must be rolled. 1 to dodge the tank and 1 to attack the wizard. All characters will use TWO 6-sided dice: [DIE ONE] * 1 = dodge the tank AND deal small amount of damage to him, collect one point * 2 - 5 = dodge the tank but deal no damage to him, collect NO points * 6 = do not dodge the tank, get stunned, collect no points and second roll does not count [DIE TWO] (Only applicable if you roll 1 - 5 on the first die) * 1 - 5 = damage to boss, you collect a point for every damage done (1 damage = 1 point, 3 damage = 3 points) * 6 = boss effect, no points for this roll * SPECIAL BONUS = If you explored the extra plant room in the apothecary and inhaled the nauseating fumes, you are immune to the boss magic. You do 6 damage and collect 6 points instead.
A character may post a dice roll every 8 hours. (You may have a maximum of 3 rolls, and no more, even if I am late closing this thread for some reason.)
Let’s get started! In addition to each roll, please include and update this form! You may choose to edit your post and include an appropriate rp response if you wish, but DO NOT delete your rolls or you will be disqualified from the event.

Well the smithy was a bust, at least as far as finding something to slip into a pocket. There wasn't anything here of interest other then the 'ETERNAL FLAME' or what ever. Seriously what else would you call a forge that was still burning even when everything else was dusted, rotten, or crumbling? It was odd thats what it was. And it seemed like there might be something in it but it wasn't like she was going to stick her hand in there! Those flames looked and felt pretty damn real to her. No, thank you!
With a sigh she turned away to look at the rest of the decrepit place only to have her attention drawn to the outside. Even as everyone rushed outside she hung back, one of the last to exit the building. Out side the downed youma was once more back on its feet and this time it had a friend... a flying friend. "For ******** sake," She muttered as she saw the battle commence. Was nothing about this little rift jaunt going to be easy? Would she ever find something worth using her five finger discount on? Bloody hell! She never should have come on this trip.
Pissed and more then willing to stay out of the s**t fest that was the battle, Strengite grabbed a near by stone and lobbed it at the two critters. She was bound to hit one of them... right?

Before Chrysoprase eked out a response, the Rift answered Argellite's question. While they pocked around at blacksmith hammers, anvils and flues, screams split the dead air outside. Chrysoprase immediately dropped a pair of tongs, unintelligible words halfway out her mouth, and she glanced through the window to spot one of the sources. But how were any of them supposed to deal with a flying youma?
"Oh my god, there's two of them now?" How were they supposed to do anything but cower back in the smithy until the pair leave, or until the rest of their unit took care of it? But as the one youma swooped and dashed and darted over their allies, the axe-wielding youma roused itself to obliterate the rest. Chrysie couldn't reach the flying youma, and she knew she couldn't risk getting close to the axe one.
Fear told her to stay as far away from each as possible — hide in the smithy if she could. She felt Argellite ever on her sleeve. The youma swooped. The other youma roared. An axe sung through the air. Chrysoprase patted herself down hastily. There — a potion.
The lieutenant edged up to the smithy doorway, wound her arm back, and threw the potion hard enough to crack a joint in her arm. She ducked away soon afterward; she didn't care to watch it land.

Okay. So things were going okay. Is. They hadn't found the stupid gear, but they had managed to find a goddamn pair of monsters! Tiberius saw them first and darted forward to put himself between Kamacite and the beasts. "Head's Up!!!" It was a good, brave move and worthy of any Mauvian protecting his senshi...but also foolhardy for a feline-bodied creature to go up against a mage and a tank.
Tiberius ended up getting knocked aside and stunned into being unable to move much from the wayside where he'd been thrown, trapped in a glorious illusion about being served delicious pizza by buxom women with parasols...
Chambersite smirked a bit. He loved when he was right. Even if it did put him in danger. But the only way to get out of the danger was to attack! And with that he threw his turnip toy at the flying magic one, considering he didn't have any way to attack short-range. What was he supposed to do? Hit it with his fists? Yeah, that would do a lot, especially from a lieutenant.
He made sure to get away from the one on the ground though, afraid that if he didn't he would get hit by the giant axe. Chambersite was a bit annoyed. Why did they not give lieutenants real weapons again?
