Matt Duffyis helping others like Kyle over (option 2) {Phone and Cord Weapon}
He took each step carefully, clinging to the railing as he felt out each step slowly with his toes. It was a rather painful descent trying to resist the urge of just running down hoping that every foot would reach the right place that he wouldn’t trip over something conveniently left on the stairs by their friendly host. Instead he felt something slick, a little gooey on his finger tips from the railing it didn’t get any better as he continued and it didn’t take long for the familiar coppery smell to fill the air. Sick. The hate was just building as Matt wiped his hand on his pant leg, remembering that as soon as he got home he was burning this suit regardless of how much it cost him.
What felt like hours Matt still holding onto Kyle’s hand reached the bottom, there was at least some semblance of light down the end of the hallway as the group started to file down trailing behind the nurse. At least they were almost there.
Almost.
Matt pulled a grim look over his face squeezing Kyle’s hand again, the columns were haphazardly stacked across their exit meaning either they had to climb over it or sit there and wait for something to find them. Sitting was not an option to the man so he pulled Kyle forward. “Go ahead and go and I’ll help you ok?” He looked at the younger man giving a reassuring smile, doing his best to hide every annoyance of dealing this little fun house hospital.
Option Two Assist those who clearly need some help getting over the obstacles before climbing it yourself.

Chailee Sterling - Assist those who clearly need some help getting over the obstacles before climbing it yourself. (Scalpel) As she reached the bottom of the stairs Chailee felt a foot slip. She banged her elbow as she reached out to save herself using the banister and thankfully that had been the extent of her clumsiness while trying to draw anything out of the darkness. As it turned out, there must not have been anything lurking as she had made it down fairly unscathed besides her barely smarting elbow.
Reaching the bottom of the staircase meant Chailee had found her way to some light. Along with it was a long hallway to freedom! The exit was just ahead of them. It was blocked by broken pillars and columns but it was there. They’d be able to help each other over and get to the exit.
Chailee hurried to the rubble that blocked their way and turned to offer assistance to those around her who needed it. Specifically she looked to Kathryn and they worked their way over the broken architecture to get to the door.
Chailee was more than ready to get out of the creepy hospital.

She followed a friend happily down the stairs, and it didn't bother her at all when cold hands did the same for her. even if their hands were really cold, it had been a yucky day and sometimes people had bad days and had really cold hands.
But then they began to pull Giulia backwards. And she was not a big girl- Giulia was little! Only 6! Light! "H-Hey!" she pushed at the hands. "I'm not that tall, don't pull back, I wanna go down! You're going the wrong way!"
"Don't worry!" the person who leaned down had smelly breath. "I'll keep you company."
"Okay," she told them impatiently, "But we're going DOWN." and grabbing hold of the icy hand, and a warmer one that moved past her, she grumpily dragged her way down the steps.
When she made her way out, she didn't know where the person was who had grabbed on to her. She puttered her way over to the fallen stuff, and began to help people over.

He saw the man he had run into the night before dart down the stair and hoped the kid didn't end up tripping in his haste. As he walked down the stairs he began to feel a sticky liquid on the railing and after a moment's hesitation, gave it a sniff to try and identify it. Blood, it smelled like blood. Richard gave another sigh but just kept going, he could wipe his hands when they were down off the stairs. It wasn't like he hadn't had blood on is hands before thanks to his job, though he would have preferred to have his gloves.
"You alright back there Kitkat?" He asked when he felt some resistance from the other man's hold on him as they continued down. When they got to the next floor he look back to the taller man with a raised eyebrow. The group kept moving though so he didn't linger too long to checking to make sure Kit was alright an after whiling his hands on his pants, he started to help other's over the blockage.
[Late - Down the stairs slowly, Assist getting over the pillars]
It looked like the way had been cleared out to the other stairwell and as such, Cerissé and Tristan made their way back to it. Whoops. But she hadn't had a weapon, so it had been the smart decision to make. Yet as they made their way down the stairs, Cerissé couldn't help but notice her hand was in something...sticky. She lifted it,raising it to her nose and sniffed, before frowning. Blood.
She'd...umm... ...
Well, she'd let her hand stay sticky and bloody until they were out.
But at least with a slow descent down the stairs she didn't trip again.
Now on the first floor, she made her way across the room towards the front door and- and there were knocked over pillars. Which meant it was time to try and climb over. With a helpful hoist up from Tristan, Cerissé paused and stopped to give him a hand up as well.
There. Two people up. Done.

The foul stench grew stronger, and Lilith gasped when she felt an ooze begin to form on the railing. Holding her hand up, she could smell the coppery scent of blood without even needing to hold it close, gagging and regretting having to put her hand back on the railing to get down the stairs.
Soon as she could, she wiped it off on her pants, knowing they'd need to be burned at this rate...
They continued on, and to hear people saying they were nearly out cheered her... they just... had to get over some um. Blockade. Fallen pillars to be exact. She'd been about to wait for Cassie and Réalta but their urging to keep going made her hesitate, but finally relent, hoisting herself up.

Blood. Why. Why? She almost screamed to realize her hand was covered in blood, still having to use the railing to get down and massively disgusted she'd need to wipe it off on her shirt but... ugh. Burning it. Without a doubt. Not worth the memories.
Even if she liked the shirt. Damn it.
When they reached the pillars, she waited, helping Lilith up, and waiting to see if anyone else needed assistance first before she went.

It wasn't her paws that got hit by the blood. It was her back. It dribbled and dripped down as she walked, hitting her lilac fur and making the cat more than a bit pissed off, rubbing against peoples' legs to get it off, and knowing she'd need a bath now. She was going to murder someone.
It was in this still pissed off state that she approached the pillars, hopping up and using her teeth to grab onto anyone who might need help, trying to pull them up to the best of her abilities. It wasn't a lot, but she was still trying.

Kathryn - option 1
At first seeing if Chailee would lead her down the stairs seemed like a good option. They could continue looking out for each other. Kathryn however was startled when the younger girl took off running, leaving her alone on the stairs. Clearly that wasn't too bad though. Kathryn could still hear the others moving on down ahead of her.
It was only when another pair of hands encircled her waist that Kathryn began to get nervous. She hadn't seen others behind her and thus who or what had a hold on her and was obviously trying to tug her back up the stairs? As the grip around her waist grew chilly Kathryn struggled not to follow suit and take off down the stairs as well. Mentally she just was not coping well with the added stress. However when a sibilant voice whispered in her ear Kathryn freaked out even more.
Oh hell no. There was no way a phantom voice was going to keep her company. Kathryn pried away whatever hands around her waist were before bolting down the stairs. It was a risky move but even she had her limits. Having phantom voices whisper that they'll keep her company was Kathryn's breaking point.
So much was she without rational thought that she was over the giant pillars that hindered the way to the door before she even knew what was going on. Although once over the pillars Kathryn realized that she had lost her IV pole. Damn, that had been a good weapon. Figuring that the way out was through the door Kathryn joined up with others only to realize it was locked.
You easily scale the marble and make it to the other side.... at the cost of your weapon. You have now lost your weapon, oh no!
Option Two:
By tag-teaming with a companion, you both manage to make it over to the other side and keep your weapons with you. Smart thinking - not to mention sweet of you to offer!
Option Three:
Standing around and looking pretty isn't going to work this time, friend. You soon realize that everyone else is clearly ready to leave you behind and you are forced to make one of the previous two choices. Quit being a slacker, buddy.
You have made it to the entrance! OH HAPPY DAY!
One of your companions reaches for the door, only to find it (wait for it...) locked. Yes, you're at the home stretch, but one door's lock is holding you back. The group is prepared to ram the door until it breaks when you hear a shriek in the back of the room, followed by a deep, disturbing female laugh.
The lights go out, leaving you completely and utterly in the dark.
Now would probably be a pretty good time to transform, if you have the ability to do so!

Open the Door (Option 3)
It might have been sheer exhaustion that dragged Kyle to a dreamless oblivion or the safety that Matt promised him as his mentor held onto his hand. But the few hours of rest that he managed to get on a full tummy with the lunchable and milk that came from the break room refrigerator had Kyle refreshed and ready to double his efforts against what other horror General Obsidian decided to put them up against today.
Their first trial, as luck would have it, was the water that seeped through the ceiling and threatened to drown all of them if they chose to stay put. Puzzled over how the water could get through the ceiling to the break room of a brand new hospital premise like that, Kyle quickly got up to wade his way through the rapidly rising water level to help those who were working together to open the door.
If that mad clown was still on the other side, they would be ready with their weapons and fight to the last of them. At least that was what he thought as he kept the broken IV pole he had with him within reach in the event that he needed it to defend himself and others around him from whatever lurked on the other side of the door.
Staying put in the break room right now would only make them sitting ducks and spell certain death by drowning eventually.

Fight the shadow dogs (Option 2)
They made it and there wasn't any crazy clown waiting for them on the other side of the door with his scythe. Yay!
Taking a moment to get the water out of the suit that Matt had lent him as best as he could, Kyle gave Matt a smile when the Pathologist came over to check on him like he said he would. He didn't have to do that with how Kyle was somewhat better at dealing with everything so far. But the fact that he made good on his words and wasn't all empty promises struck a chord with the younger male and warmed his heart a little.
Just as he was about to think that he wouldn't need the broken IV pole for anything at all, the group came across a pair of ethereal looking shadow dogs that looked anything but friendly. There wasn't another alternative route forward so they might as well fight tooth and nail for the right to pass then. He was right behind Matt as they joined those in the group who were brave enough to rush forth and beat on the dogs, smacking and stabbing at them with his IV pole without mercy until they were dusted.
So much for that... hah!

Oh come on! Do they really have to navigate a pitch black stairwell and risk breaking their necks should they miss a step for a chance to get out of this dreadful place?
Kyle had to resist giving an exasperated sigh at the stairwell that obviously had its lights busted on purpose, turning to give Matt a wry smile the moment he felt his hand in his. Alright. No giving up after you've come this far now Kyle.
Stepping forward into the darkness, he slowly felt his way along the wall with his other hand, his feet shuffling along as he took his time going down the stairs with his mentor by his side.

What the...? Was that blood?
Kyle frowned at the sight of the crimson liquid that his hand was now covered in as soon as his eyes were done adjusting to the light from the main hallway that they were now standing in. Nuh-uh. Nice try General Obsidian and fellow Negaverse lackeys. Blood might creep some people out but certainly not him.
Not wanting to ruin the suit that he was wearing, Kyle rubbed his hand against the nearest wall to get the blood off before returning his attention to, what was hopefully, the final obstacle between the group and the main entrance. Well... a pair of toppled columns that they now had to climb over was not that bad compared to some of the horrors that they had to face was it?
Turning to Matt, he gave his hand a squeeze and nodded. "Ok. Let's do this. Together, we'll get across this pile of rubble in no time."

Powering up time!
This was it!
Kyle didn't know how he and Matt managed to do it alongside everyone else in the group but it seemed that everyone made it to the main entrance okay. Only to realize to their horror when someone tried the main entrance door to find that it was locked.
What the hell was this nonsense! General Obsidian did say that they could go if they managed to find their way to the exit. How is this fair! Nooooooo!
Kyle wasn't going to retrace his steps through all that hell that they had been through to try to find an alternative exit. He would bash the door through if he had to. And it seemed that a couple of others were also in agreement with that particular notion.
Before they could do that however, the lights suddenly went out followed by a very disturbing feminine laugh that came from behind them. Whipping around, Kyle instinctively reached into his pocket for his senshi pen, deciding that now was probably a good time to power up in preparation for whatever was about to come their way.
