✿ ❀ Isis watched Dumuzi as she debated the offer of a dance party and somewhat handed the decision off to Theo, though she seemed like she wanted to go. Theo on the other hand seemed reluctant, afraid he might step on feet if he tried to dance. "Aw you shouldn't let that hold you back! Gosh I'm terrible at freestyle dancing, but it's still fun with friends. Nobody really cares." Isis shrugged. The only dancing she could be considered good at was formal dance, one that had structure and specific form, otherwise she sort of just wiggled about awkwardly and laughed it off.
Leon chimed in as well that it would be fun, spinning them both temptingly. Isis laughed as she was spun around. "S-stoooop haha you're making me dizzy!" Isis jokingly complained with a giggle, which was only amplified when Leon mentioned that if she thought he was a dork now, she should see him on the dance floor. "Pft oh dear, this should be interesting then~ You guys probably don't wanna miss this." Isis laughed, Leon adding on that they really wouldn't mind them coming along if they were still worried about intruding. If they didn't want to come just because they really weren't interested though, Isis didn't mind. She had their numbers, and she was sure she'd see them again at some point.
In the meantime though, Leon set Isis down and took her hand in his. Isis gave a light smile at that and walked with him back into town to try and locate Yang. With his new guise he wasn't hard too locate; tall hooded figure with a large black cloak... How could they really miss him? "Alright Yang, time to change islands." Isis called as Yang finished landing two rings on a ring toss game. The disguised Zorua took his five tickets and then turned to Isis with a grin, handing her all the tickets he'd earned while they were gone. "Jeez Yang! You've been busy." Isis chuckled. ✿ ❀

However Yang added to that another four tickets that he'd got by spinning the fortune wheel. Isis could handle four tickets though, that was better than the mountain Yang had handed her. Now they were ready to go, and Isis boarded the seagallop at the dock with Leon and Yang, and possibly Dumuzi and Theo as well if they changed their minds and tagged along. ✿ ❀

She hopped down from Natalia's arms and took a look around at the dazzling lights of the Tanabata festival. That, had captured her attention. "Fro..... Kie." ('How..... Glamorous.')"You like it? This is a Tanabata festival. It's a pretty nice place for you to hatch at huh?" Natalia suggested with a smile. The Froakie continued to somewhat ignore her though, not out of spite or malice, she simply wasn't interested in Natalia.

Results Dumuzi found that her favorite game resulted in favourable results. 8 tickets, nice!
Dumuzi couldn’t hold back the small pout that appeared on her face when Theo informed them that he really didn’t want to go dancing. She couldn’t blame him for not wanting to make himself look silly or anything like that, hell, she had the same problem in a way. Though it was still kind of disappointing not to have that push to go and do something that you didn’t do very often. The dance did sound fun to her, but apparently the hidden Prince didn’t. Oh well, such is life, sometimes.
Dumuzi giggled in amusement seeing the two love birds interact with each other, Leon in particular proclaiming his dorkiness at the dance floor made a grin spread across her face. It was rather funny that he would take so much pride in fact that he was such a ‘Dork’ at anything. She wondered if that was his… trademark of sorts? She could only assume that was the case, or at the very least it was something of an inside joke between him and Isis who was easily and effortlessly taking that little tidbit of information in stride. The encouragement to join in seemed to make Dumuzi start to really want to go with them. It made her feel better about going when Isis said that she couldn’t dance worth a damn freestyle either. Besides… she didn’t really want to have their parting end on such a sad, defeated note of having seen Isis mourn over her lost pokemon. She looked over at Theo again with something of a grin. ”Yeah, don’t worry about not being able to dance, Theo, come on! I can’t dance either, and that’s before I was introduced to geta and a traditional yukata. By the sounds of it, it isn’t a formal thing or anything like that.” Dumuzi’s grin died off her face and she placed her hands behind her back. ”But… I guess if you really don’t want to go, then that’s fine too. We can continue to head on to island one like we planned.” As much as she did kind of want to go, she also didn’t want to push Theo too far out of his comfort zone either, it was quite a dilemma on her end but she knew that she should take his feelings into consideration when doing things like this too. She noticed that the pair were starting to head towards the boats and Dumuzi raised her arm and waved to them. ”Isis! You better record some of that Dorky Dancing for me just in case we don’t meet up there! I want to see Leon in all his dance-crazed glory!” There, at least if Theo was adamant about not wanting to go, she could still see the best part of the show.

He smiled as she greeted the newly hatched Pokémon, but the Froakie appeared to be far more interested in the bright Tanabata lights than her new trainer. Natalia went on to suggest that Tanabata was a perfect time for the little frog Pokémon to hatch, but the Froakie continued to ignore her, likely not all that interested in her. Aiden gave a sheepish chuckle as Natalia set the Froakie up on her shoulder, naming her Carmine as the frog started to make herself comfortable on her new perch. ” Guess she’ll need a bit more time to warm up to you, huh?” he suggested lightly with a shrug, admiring the Froakie’s unique color and patterns, ” She’s really beautiful though~” Her colors reminded him of how Ms. Sybil would watch those old shows in black and white on her television, with the actresses that wore a lot of dark makeup around their eyes and whatnot. In any case, while Aria and Flora were off playing games, he gestured towards the path that lead through and out of the town by the coast. ” Anyways, Three Island is actually two islands in one, where we are right now is the ‘parent’ island,” he explained, recalling what he could from memory, ” Berry Forest is located on the ‘child’ island to the west of here, so we’ll take that path out of town and cross the Bond Bridge to get there~ The wishing tree is in the forest’s center,” A thought crossed his mind as he finished his last sentence, recalling that his mother often told him to stay close and not wander off whenever they walked through the forest. ” We should be careful when navigating the forest, though… Wild Hypno have been known to hypnotize young children who play near the area and lead them astray around here…” he added, his brow furrowing slightly at the thought before he gave a small smile, ” Of course, I don’t think we’ll have to worry about anything like that, but we should at least keep a cautionary eye out.” Of course, it was partially only an old legend, but Aiden had remembered hearing stories about what happened to lone children who played too close to Berry Forest. Whether or not they were actually true, he wasn’t entirely certain, but he would much rather be safe than sorry at this point. Thalia shivered in his arms at the mention of children being kidnapped by wild Hypno in the woods, the Sylveon pressing close and looking up at him with a worried expression. Berry Forest sounded rather dangerous for them to be exploring in, especially just to find a wishing tree... ✦ ✦Aria hummed to herself as she made her way over towards the Wheel of Fortune, hopefully she’d have a bit of better luck at this than with the ring toss game. Of course, a lot of other people were waiting in line for it as well, but she was content to wait her turn as she watched the other festival-goers score both high and low with their spins. When it came to be her turn, the Delphox spun the wheel as hard as she could and crossed her fingers for a good score. Her anticipation only grew as it gradually slowed, before coming to a full and complete stop. Aria happily clapped her hands when she saw that it had landed on a six out of ten. It certainly wasn’t the highest that she could possibly score, but it was a bit of a step up from the four that she had gotten the last time. Waving her tail with glee, she accepted her six tickets and was soon weaving her way through the crowd in search of another game to play.✦ ✦

✦ ✦Aria soon found herself at the arcade, and she decided to pick out a game to play that she would hopefully score better at than last time. Her eyes lit on a particular game that looked fairly simple, skeeball. She simply had to roll a certain number of balls up a ramp and land them in each of the labeled holes, of course it would be in her best interests to aim for the highest number to garner the best score. Approaching the station, Aria picked up one of the balls, thumbing its smooth surface as she centered her focus on the hole that was smack dab in the center. That was where she needed to get the balls in to score high, and with that she started rolling. Her aim was a bit off, and most of the balls ended up scoring either very little or no points at all. Even so, by the time she ran out of balls, she had ended up with a fairly decent score. Of course, she could have done far better than she had, but the score was acceptable enough to earn her three more tickets. She had almost been tempted to just use her psychic powers to properly position the balls and make them go into the center hole, but she knew that she wouldn’t sink so low as to cheat just to win more tickets than what she got. In any case, the fishing game was waiting for her, she’d been itching for another go at that Wailmer challenge in hopes to get those hundred tickets.✦ ✦

The operator seemed to already know what she wanted, and wasted no time in handing her the paper net for the game. Nodding her thanks to him, the Delphox clutched the little net in her hands as she poised herself over the bowl, monitoring the movements of the Wailmer inside with an eagle eye. An opportunity came when she saw one swimming close to the surface, and she went in for the catch. Unfortunately, the paper net broke in half before she could manage to get it to where she could pull up and capture the little Wailmer.” Shoot, foiled again!”she mumbled to herself, watching her former quarry swim back down below. ✦ ✦Aria wandered her way back over to the darts booth, and she decided that another go at it shouldn’t hurt. Maybe she could do better this time, and hopefully with enough practice she would be able to pop all of the balloons and win a good amount of tickets. Taking a deep breath to steady her aim as she was handed her darts, Aria flung them one by one at the balloons on the target panel. Unfortunately, her throws caused the majority of the darts to land short of their targets, and in the end she only managed to pop a measly few balloons. Just her luck, she supposed, considering that she hadn’t done all that well the last time she played this game either. Sighing softly, the Delphox decided to just cut her losses and take the two tickets that she earned for her efforts, and she was soon off to the next game.✦ ✦

✦ ✦Going back around to the next game on the list of the cycle, Aria decided to try another attempt at the ring toss. Hopefully her lousy luck would wear off sooner or later, and maybe she could actually make something of it this time around. She was handed her three rings as she approached the booth, the Delphox tightening her grip around the hoop she held in her throwing hand in determination. Stepping forward slightly, she flung each of the rings into the crowd of bottles, hoping that she wouldn’t completely miss all three again like she had the last time. Much to her surprise and joy, she managed to land at least one ring around a bottle, while the other two came up short of their targets. She still scored fairly low, but at the very least getting one ring out of three was better than none. Aria was happy to accept her two tickets, and made her way back over to the arcade once again.✦ ✦

✦ ✦Hoping to turn her luck around somehow, what better way to do so than play the Wheel of Fortune again? She had been having relatively good luck with it so far, hopefully she could keep it up and maybe score even better this time around. After all, third time was the charm, they always said. After patiently waiting in line behind at least a hundred other people, Aria was ready, rubbing her hands together as she approached the wheel as a sort of good luck charm. She spun the wheel with gusto, stepping back and watching carefully as the colors ticked by the pointer on the top. The Delphox clenched her hands with anticipation, biting her lip as it slowed down and gradually came to a stop. Nine out of ten, oh what luck! Aria jumped up and down in her excitement, clapping her hands joyously after she accepted the nine tickets she was handed. Things were finally starting to look on the up and up! All that was left was to do the fishing game once more, and then she could head back to Aiden and Natalia with her winnings so that they could go and check out that wishing tree.✦ ✦
