Armand was about to release his fangs from the pillow, but Kohaku suddenly rolled over him before dragging the Vampire along with her down to the floor with remarkably loud Thud!. The vibration on the floor along with the sound was more than enough to alert Volpeo and the familiar, who didn't hesitated to rush straight to the maiden's room.

On the meantime, Armand had yet to realize the predicament Kohaku had set him up to.
During the spinning and drifting of their fall, the pillow was freed from his fangs with minor cuts, of course the soft pillows tended to make things flashier with all the feathers puffing out from it.

Armand had managet to spread his legs to avoid falling directly onto Kohaku's body, and his free arm would rest his palm onto the ground to help him keep the balance.
But because of how little momentum was he able to follow, his body was just inches away from touching with the maidens, besides his arm which was still the maiden's hostage.

"Give me a break, so much trouble for a few droplets"

Stated the vampire on his mind, trying to figure the best course of action when it happened.

A loud noise would follow up, moments later after their fall, the door was slammed open, Volpeo and the familiar had arrived in the most convenient of the moments
While Armand was still "on top" of Kohaku, apparently having his dirty way on the poor maiden. Which according to Volpeo's mind and criteria was 100% accurate.

"What the hell do you think you are doing with the young maiden?!"

Asked the kitsune while the Vampire's cold eyes would lift their spectral gaze upon them, according to Volpeo he was watching over them as a lustful animal.
Without a second to wait, the Kitsune dashed against the perpetrator, who tried to avoid the attack but with such a firm grip upon his arm, Kohaku indirectly set him up for quite a beating.

"Since when drinking blood from the humans became such a troublesome task?!"

Asked Armand inside his mind, unable to speak as he was assaulted by Volpeo and the familiar while the true culprit was apparently sleeping like a baby next to him, with his arm still captive.

Any normal person at this point would have jolted straight up and angrily demand answers immediately. But, as one could conclude from this experience, Kohaku was anything but normal. Stirring only slightly when Volpeo bursts in and slowly opening her eyes at his voice, she took her sweet time waking up, not even bothered by her attacker. After all, his arm was her teddy bear at the moment. "Hn? What's (yawn) going on?" she asked as she sleepily rubbed her eyes.









Spells/Powers:
+ Kagura – Kohaku performs a few hand signals that will allow her to do one of three things:
- Surround herself with a magical energy. Performing this version will heal her (or others).
- Gain a momentary defensive barrier. It will withstand a few hits before it dispels.
- Gain a significant attack boost (Only lasts about 5 posts).
+ Spirit Familiar - Kohaku can summon a spirit familiar (usually a fox) to come to her aid. The familiar only lasts for a limited period of time (10 to 15 posts).
+ Healing - Kohaku can restore living things to their optimal health, curing broken or withered plants, wounds, broken bones, and low vitality. She can’t raise the dead.
+ Nature Manipulation - Kohaku can control/tap into elements of nature, including air, fire, water, earth, etc. Her strength is in water and ice. Use of other elements will quickly exhaust her.
+ Light energy - Kohaku can manipulate light and attack opponents with concentrated balls or beams of light energy. It's rather weak but good for melee.

Armand was to busy taking the beating of his life between Volpeo and the familiar.
On the other hand Volpeo would turn onto the sleeping beauty there to frown.
"Really? We caught up a stalked on your room and you barely notice?"
Stated the Kitsune, of course Armand was currently too weak to defend himself since he was loosing the little blood he had left.
"How bothersome..."
Thought Armand, saving energy for when he found an opening. Otherwise he'll just loose more and more energy. He could endure the beating.

Kohaku shrugged as she continued to rub her eyes sleepily. "What time is it even?" she asked as she scrambled for a nearby clock. Grabbing the clock from her nightstand, she squinted as she read the time. It was almost 1 in the morning. "Too early..." she grumbled. "Who is this guy anyways? she asked jabbing a finger at Armand.

Volpeo arched an eyebrow just as soon as she asked about who Armand was.
"As if I would know who this vile scourge is. This is the presence I felt earlier. Just look at him. He was already having fun with you while so we sleeping.... come to think of it, how was it possible for someone to be asleep while a perpetrator has freely his way upon your body?!"
Asked Volpeo, escalating things as usual, but mostly since he was concerned about Kohaku's safety. And because Armand's presence wasn't exactly helping on calming the kitsune's temper.
Armand on the other hand, was thinking he might had better luck hunting for animals in the forest than trying to sneak on the maiden. Honestly, who fights back on their dreams nowadays. He could belive it perhaps 600 ago, but in modern times there were very few who dominated the sleeping fist or related techniques. Just his luck.
Sighing, he remained emotionless against the floor, it was better to save energy than to waste it trying to explain the situation to Volpeo, he among everyone in the room was agitated the most, there wouldn't be any help trying to talk things out.

Volpeo continued questioning Kohaku on how was it possible for the vampire to sneak into her and Kohaku barely noticing until now.

Kohaku tilted her head to the side in confusion. Her face said it all. "What are you talking about?" Having fun with her? How could someone have fun with her while she was asleep? A prank perhaps? As the title would have it, Kohaku was a maiden in every sense. Nearly innocent to the core when it came to such 'matters.' "I'm an active sleeper. That alone is my subconscious defense. Instead of questioning me, why don't you question him and his motives."

Volpeo flustered as the maiden asked what he meant by "having fun" truly she was an innocent child on Volpeo's mind.
The kitsune would pause for a moment. Turning at Armand for a second before pulling on the shirt's neck.
"Tell us why are you here!? And why where you trying to have intimate intercourse with the maiden!?"
Armand would glare, but he wouldn't answer anything, after all he already took quite a beating, and also he saved his strength for when he'll truly need it.
Turning over to Kohaku as she explained to be an active sleeper, he thought he could had used that information beforehand. Sighing he would turn back at his aggressors while Volpeo was still waiting for an answer.
"Are these people for real?"
The wounded Vampire would pull a crest from his pocket, usually the travelling spirits of the shrine ported them as to identify themselves and their clans to one another, but humans for some reason opted to take the crests as a symbol of divinity.
Volpeo was to young to know about those traditions, but hopefully Kohaku would know about the ancient traditions and take the savage Kitsune away from him.

Kohaku saw Armand pull out a crest. She knew exactly what it was for, but she hadn't seen anyone use a crest for quite some time. "Okay. You have a crest. That doesn't explain why you're in my room." she said plainly. Well, now she knew what clan/house he came from but that didn't exactly help.

Armand rolled his eyes, if this was all the "help" he was gonna get by showing the crest, he might as well had dumped it on the trashcan.
He patiently waited for Volpeo stop hitting him which didn't happen anytime soon as he finally got a chance to stand up.

"Honestly, I have seen better service on a slaughterhouse. What kind of Shrine is this?!"

The vampire ranted while making sure his jaw was still attached to his body.
Calming down for a second before turning back at the trio.

"I just got here, and traveled from far away. I need blood to survive, I'm a vampire after all."

Armand explained, making sure to keep an eye on Volpeo who seemed to be the most aggressive of the shrine trio.

"I wasn't looking for any sort of intimate contact with the lady, keep your dirty thoughts on check foxy. I was merely trying to take a few drops of blood."

Volpeo frowned, but Armand continued, he might not had a chance to talk later on when Volpeo recovered his strength.

"I've rarely found myself in the need of visiting the human world, but last time people actually had some respect or class... Since when did they hire barbarians to guard the shrines? Where's the welcome? I don't exactly expect a parade... though that would be the least you should do. But not even a warm welcome. I had to seek for shelter as soon as I jumped from the door. The hostility this beast exerts could be smell from miles away."

"Don't try to act all fancy, you sneaked into the maiden's room! and that is unacceptable!"

"Is it?"

Volpeo might be to young to remember, but back in the old days, the "divinities" were offered brides or grooms depending on the nature of the spirit. Of course he wasn't here for such kind of business, but Volpeo's reaction gave Armand enough hints of the various things that had changed over time.

Kohaku could hardly believe this guy. She was going to give this man a piece of her mind. "Excuse you, but, one, I have been a guardian of this shrine for nearly 400 years. Two, if you need blood, ask for it. I'm not going to give you min, of course. You aren't a little kid. Learn to ask for things. Three, don't expect a warm welcome if you're going to creep around instead making your presence known. Four, I AM A MAIDEN FOR A REASON." By the end of her rant, she was fuming, red, and wanted nothing to do with the vampire. "Ugh, some people are just so-!" she grumbled to herself as she got up. There was no doubt that she was awake now. "Look this shrine is just to let you get to the other realms. We're transportation and that's it, okay? We don't do anything but guard. We don't cater to anything but transportation needs."

Armand glared at Kohaku as she suddenly start lecturing him.
"Oh, now you talk. Like I said, I didn't expected a parade... but I would had appreciated if you could had stopped your barbarian from assaulting me. Someone who had been 400 years should at least show courtesy to someone who had the courtesy to identify themselves.
And besides If I wasn't threatened by your pet on the first time I would had tried to show up.
I wasn't going to drink all your blood. Just a few droplets. I haven't eaten on days. Try starving a little and lets see if you are kind enough to ask for food when you see a table served next to you."

Armand apparently started sharing a bit of his mind as well.
Volpeo and the Familiar where just turning their heads towards the one talking at the moment. Sometimes it was Kohaku, then Armand, then back to Kohaku.
Volpeo found cute that Kohaku tried to intimidate Armand by stating she had been guarding over 400 years, that would be ridiculous, after all that was his age, and Kohaku was "clearly" a few centuries younger than him.

She couldn't deal with him. Maybe she should have let Volpeo tear him to pieces. "Oh? This is coming from the man who caused my 'barbarian' to attack you. He was trying to protect me. You just don't invade my personal space and do anything you like, alright? I have every right to be mad. It's not my job to make anyone happy. It's my job to protect this place. Whine all you want. It's not my problem and you aren't about to make it my problem." she said, storming out of the room once she had finished. If she didn't leave the room, the tension would get to her. Once outside, far from the room, she took deep breaths, feeling the her thoughts level out. She hadn't been that mad since some warlord tried to destroy the shrine.

With Kohaku gone, Armand had lost any chance to get any blood since he doubted the kitsune would be willing to share some.

"Well now you heard it, stop harassing the young maiden and take your leave"

Stated Volpeo to which Armand rolled his eyes.

"How many buffoons am I going to meet on this place?"

Asked Armand before a loud thud would be heard. Due to the lack of energies, Armand wasted that last inch of strength during the argument. And with no energy he whited out on the floor.

"Hmm...what should I do now?"

Volpeo turned over the familiar.

"What would the young maiden do?"

He asked the familiar which stared puzzled at him.
Moment's later Volpeo could be seen throwing the body on the trashcan and roll it down the hill.

"There."

He commented with a mischievous grin while running back at the Shrine, followed closely by the familiar.

It took nearly half an hour of ignoring everything and deep, paced breaths to calm herself from the intruder induced rage. What right did that vampire have to intrude, with no warning, and complain of the lack of hospitality. The only hospitality she would show him after his rude attitude would be the kind that ended him in the hospital. Still considerably enraged over the ordeal, Kohaku thought it best to distance herself from the others and was thus unaware of what the two kitsunes had done.

After disposing of the intruder, volpeo took his familiar form, just an adult fox, perhaps a little smaller than the kitsune familiar since his kind was specialiced on speed and infiltration.

Soon, the soft paws of the familiars would be barely heard walking around the wooden floor of the shrine.

Back and forth, from a corner to the other, they finally halted their activities once they found out Kohaku, the familiar was the first to step in, stoking it cheek against the maiden's side.

Volpeo just laid next to them, alert to sounds, just in case their visitor wished to return.

Meanwhile, the poor vampire cursed under his breath as he kept falling down the hill, it was quite a large fall.
