Farvardin tilted her head as she considered what Shakuntala said. "Sure I'd like to play! But um.... if I win is it okay to not take the prize? I don't live near here at all so I don't think I'd be able to get the free meals." She asked. She could most likely afford to pay for the plates if she didn't win but she saw no point in taking the prize, if she won, when she lived so far away.

After returning from the kitchenette in the back with a platter set out for Farvardin's attempt at the game, she nodded her head in understanding, but not without quipping up with an offer. "D-Do you at least want to take some curry with you f-for the return journey?" she asked as she placed it before the other female. "Y-You can take... one or several of the dishes from here if you want... I-I mean, only if you may get h-hungry when you go home..."

Farvardin looked at the plates before her and then back at the other girl. "Could I do that? I could definitely use some food for the trip home. Hm..... I don't know when I'll be leaving but it would be okay to get it when I do leave, right?" She asked before focusing on the plates again. She finally decided on a plate and picked up a spoon to take a bite. At first nothing happened and it seemed like she got the good plate. But then fire erupted in her mouth. "OOOOOOHHHHHHH HOTTTTTT!!!!!!" She yelped looking around for something to drink.

Shakuntala whirled around and went to clasp her grip on a glass, but realized that, much to her distress and chagrin, all of them were used up! With eyes widening and arms flailing, she ended up just shoving the entire jug in Farvardin's direction across the table.
"D-Drink! Drink quick!" she warned the girl in fear. "I... Your tongue m-may fall off!" Realizing she had blurted out the wrong thing again, she clasped her hands about her mouth and took a step back in embarrassment. She had a knack for saying the wrong things at the wrong time.

Farvardin was still looking around for something to drink when a jug was shoved in front of her. She didn't even think about it and just grabbed it. She began chugging it with some of it missing her mouth and streaming down the front of her. After a moment she put the jug down. "Aaaaahhhhhh. Oh man. That was so hot. So very very hot." She said taking a breath, "Um.... can I try again?" Apparently she was a glutton for punishment.

"Well, I am pretty hungry," Zin said, not one to back down from a challenge. "I bet I can handle the spicy ones just fine, anyway! ... Not that I'll eat a spicy one! I'll pick the right one, easy!" she grinned. Despite her big talk, Zin was a bit nervous. She'd have to empty her wallet to pay for six meals. So... she'd just have to pick the right one! Free home-cooked meals for a month was worth the risk.

Preacher rubbed the back of her neck. "Preacher." she said shortly. The more important question was the wheres.... The curry could absolutely not be delivered to the gang's lean-to. Not only would Tinker beat her for it, he'd eat it all too. As much as she wanted to share her bounty with Dollface and Baron, it looked like this would be hers and hers alone. And it wouldn't hurt to butter the lady up... "Why iffin it's alright witchu, I'll eat here. I imagine it tastes right best fresh from tha pot n not after delivery. Plus I'll get ta see youse guys' beautiful faces as I eat and there's nothing that'll put the spice o' hunger in your belly than a pretty face." It was half true. Well, Preacher was[/i[] concerned about the tastiness of the food after delivery, at least. "When abouts should I be comin' by?"

[[ First dice for Farvardin, second for Zinnia~ ]]
Shakuntala pursed her lips at the girl's desire to try again. "I-If you'd like..." Just as she was about to turn on her heel and retrieve six more dishes, another character interjected with interest as well. Shakuntala gave an understanding nod to the girl. "Two servings..." she muttered to herself as she directed her way to the back of the tented booth.
Kamla nodded her head in understanding and slapped the ledger shut with a quaint smile. "Well, if that's what you prefer... It's fine by me! Come around anytime next week. I'll whip up whatever you like. I'm sure-" The mother's eyes slid to her daughter when she entered. "We'll love having you around."
Shakuntala ignored them. With two platters of twelve dishes balanced on each arm, the girl settled them before the two girls with mastery. Stepping back from both of them, she announced, "O-Okay, you can... eat..."

"Thank you very much!" Zinnia exclaimed, her mouth already watering. She picked up a spoon and stuck it straight into the dish nearest to her. "Time to eat," she said, transferring the contents of the spoon into her mouth with a satisfying gulp.
"HHH.... HOT!!" Zinnia exclaimed. Her eyes and nose were already running. "Ahhh! How is it this hot!" She stuck her poor, abused tongue out of her mouth and fanned it with both hands. "Aaaaahh... I'm dying..."

Lloren had walked for ages, checking things off the needed-supplies list one after the other. The parade tent must be overflowing with deliveries at the moment. She wondered if they even had space to store all of them.
A heavenly scent caught in her nose and she swivelled decisively in its direction. FOOD! JACKPOT. There weren't many seats left but she hopped right at it, stomach rumbling with envy at those digging in right nearby.
The booth's attendant looked pretty busy, so Lloren waited her turn, eyes wide, drumming a beat on the boothside in anticipation.

Keeping the jug close at hand Farvardin looked about her. Seems like another person was trying the game. When the plates were placed in front of her she studied them for a moment. She then looked up at Shakuntala and smiled. "Thanks." She then grabbed her spoon and picked a plate. Needless to say her mouth was immediately on fire. "HOTTTTT!!!!!!" She yelped quickly grabbing the nearby jug. She downed it finishing off the liquid this time. "Okay I think I'm done."

Saoirse flashed another warm smile to Shakuntala before taking a bite out of the plate that had been set before her. The dish tasted amazing, the curry was warm and rich a bit spicy but nothing insane the rice helped balance the spiciness well. "Its wonderful!" She said to the other girl after finishing the first bite. She would love to have this dish again. If she got a chance she would come back for some more later on in the festival. She decided as she savored the next few bites. Sadly the dish didn't last as long as she had hoped despite the fact that she had eaten rather slowly, while tempted to order another she figured it was best to save her money for the moment and paid for the dish with a smile. The effort it took to keep from clasping his throat desperately with his hands or running to the nearest body of water was immense. The longer it coated the back of his esophagus the hotter it became until he was certain it would melt a hole through his skin. He was certain he had all but met his maker when the woman’s voice caused him to spin around. Attempting to mask his agony so as not to insult her or embarrass himself he eyed the glass, and though his body was screaming to take it and drink it as quickly as possible, he paused to hold up his hand and shake his head. “Not at all..” He barely managed, his voice raspy despite his attempts to maintain his composure.
Taking up the glass with an eager, shaky hand he tilted his head back and emptied the glass before setting it down and gripping the counter with both hands. When the spices had mostly lost their heat he straightened the collar of his shirt and smiled at her. “That was quite the bite of curry.” He smiled, feeling a bit awkward after all that had happened. “As for the rest, there is no need to apologize.”

Zin seized the nearest jug and downed its contents quickly. With eyes and nose still streaming, she regretfully pulled out her wallet and payed up. She'd definitely learned her lesson; never make a bet where taste buds were involved.
"Thanks... I'm not hungry any more..." she said, wiping her face with a napkin and stumbling away from the booth.

] (( Oh goodness, sorry for the lack of reply, everyone! I told myself I would reply before, but I got occupied with the parade, aha. ))
Shakuntala was unsure if she should throw herself in a panic because of the hot mouths of the recent contestants or keep her cool to not freak out the ones currently approaching. She opted for swallowing her fear and letting the two girls down as much water as possible. Noticing how the line at the booth had grown, she catered to those bodies first.
"C-Can I help you?" she asked Lloren timidly. "Would you like to... get something to eat or play...?"
She momentarily cast her glance to Nik and gave him a nod. "A-All right," she replied. "And yes... Mum makes her curry a little... too spicy..."
Accepting the payment from Zin, she plopped the coins into the money box on the shelf beneath the counter and pushed it back inside. She'd have to remind her mother to clear it later; it had certainly filled since the start of the festival.
To Saorise, Shakuntala smiled. "I'll tell mum that," she replied. "Would... you like another serving? P-Perhaps a game, maybe?"
