That is not proof that god exists. Just merely prophecies... There is no proof that god, or any superior being for that matter, exists now, or ever in the course of time was there... Now, I don't mean to flame anyone whose religious, but I think that religion is a waste of time. You all realize that almost every single war has had something to do with religion? Almost all the wars over seas and wars that we have been involved in have been holy wars. If it wasn't for religion, the world would be a lot more peaceful. Now, I'm not saying that there would be no more war ever, I'm just saying that there would be less war in the world. Well, enough of my thoughts, anyway, peace all.

Nostredamus supposedly predicted alot of things too, like Napoleon, Hitler and 9/11. Doesn't make him God. People have been saying for hundreds of years that the prophecies in book of Revelation are being fufilled, yet nothings happened.

I do believe that the book of revelations is not talking about "proof of god" more than just signs of the second coming of christ. Prophecies in the book of revelation are being fullfilled but it doesn't necessarily show proof in god, my church see's it as Christ coming again.
Also, without religeon there would be chaos, the world needs something to believe in when they can't explain something, the reason why wars happen is because people have trouble accepting other peoples views on what to believe. It's not religeon that needs to change, it's problem of not accepting other peoples views that needs to change.

I took a whole class on the Book of Revelation and I agree with what Iguana said. It really was just John talking about the present day Roman Empire. The book we read was called Days of Vengeance and it was a very interesting read. It goes through each chapter explaining how each one pertains to what was going on during that time that John was commenting on. By the way the book was written by a Christian.

By definition (Knowledge gained from observation) , Evolution can't be science because no one has ever observed it. Atheism is a religion too, one has to believe that God doesn't exist.

Nothing has happened because not all the prophecies are complete.

You are all a bunch of idiots. Do you not see that God is our Lord? I'll give you proof- There are beleivers! how about some proof in Jesus Christ, and how he came back from the dead? They've found cloth with Jesus' blood, and a statement made by the guards that there was an earthquake, and 'Flashes of brilliant White lightning' before the rock opened, and the angel sat there! So how's THAT for proof?! They found Blood on the cloth that Jesus left in his tomb, and they haven't a clue what the blood type is- because it's holy!!
For other religonious people,
If you worship someone who has a figure, a shape in which to call it's own, You have been fooled. Your parents and your grandparents have been fooled. The LORD is the only god- there is no other!
If you worship an unknown figure, then that figure of worship is unreal. God made man in his own image. Therefore, God has a figure- not one we know of though.
God has three parts, The father- the LORD almighty, The Son- Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit(Ghost)- Who combines them together.
Think of him this way, God is a necklace, earrings, and a bracelet. the LORD is the earrings, creater of all things, higher than power itself; Jesis Christ is the Bracelet, changing it's form when moved from one arm to the next - or changing from a holy being to a human figure; The Holy Spirit as the necklace, making it a set, combining it to make it jewelry. Without any of these peices it is only a part, a fragment of GOD.
Without faith we are as soulless as a dog. Be a friend, Be a unworthy comrade. Love god with all your strenght, and he will love back.
As for the Evolution theory, How many million years could it be on earth in one simple day in heaven? God created man on the 6th day, and stayed to relax with them on the 7th. Seeing as he is God, the Devine Creater, he could live with Adam+Eve for their entire lives on earth, yet still return to heaven and live there... A special plus- No jetlag.

I hate it when this is made into a big deal.
Its something religious. I myself believe in God, but you might be offending others. Try keeping this stuff to yourself, or in less public places.
If you start worrying too much about proof and the apocolypse, you'll never have a true life.

This religion just seems so pointless to me.
I'm not critizicing Catholics. I just wish they'd stop harassing and trying to drill their beliefs into me.
