There is almost too much proof. The easiest to recognize is from the hardest book in the Bible.
Book of Revelations was labeled as a fictional book of the Bible. True, the early Church did say that, but that was because they couldn't even begin to understand how the prophecies in that book could come true. Well, in the last hundred years, several prophecies have come true.
1. The Jewish people will once again have a homeland. For 2000 years, the Jews had now home, they wondered Europe until World War II when Hitler came and tried to exterminate them all. After the Holocaust, the Jewish people said, "Enough!" and began a massive migration to their promise land. And, guess what, in the mid-1950's, the Jews received their homeland and became Israel.
2. The Jewish people will, once again, control the Holy City of Jerusalem. In the 1960's, all the Arab nations declared war on Israel. It was a war for land and religion. The U.S.A. sent endless supplies to them, while the Arab nations were supplied by the U.S.S.R. Israel was far beyond outnumbered and had no chance of survival. It was then that they decided to do one thing. They figured, if they were going to die, they should die in the Holy City of Jerusalem. They fought until they retook their Capital. The Jews held the city and in six day, brought the whole Middle East to their knees.
3. All of Europe would be united under a single currency. Go to any European Nation, one uses the Euro to buy things. It has been used for about ten years now.
4. There will be a nation that holds a standing army of 250,000,000 men. That number is specifically stated in the Bible. Guess what~, for the past 50 years or so, China has had a standing army of 250,000,000 men.

That's for prophecies come true, and there are more coming!

Lot of people are saying these are just prophecies, not proof of God. Do you people hear yourselves when you talk? Who do you think gave us those prophecies...hmm? The Bible is the word of God, telling us what, how, and why things are going on. Then in the New Testament, most of the books are written by Paul the Apostle, stories about what he did as a Christian.

How does this prove god?
It could just be some people were good at predicting the future, and maybe that has nothing to do with a divine force at all.

If I remember correctly, those are all signs that the anti-Christ is coming.

Prophets are like archers. They shoot there arrow somewhere and slowly, people will begin to paint a target around it.

3. All of Europe would be united under a single currency. Go to any European Nation, one uses the EU to buy things. I'm pretty sure that it's been like that for 50 years, but I might be wrong.
4. There will be a nation that holds a standing army of 250,000,000 men. That number is specifically stated in the Bible. Guess what~, for the past 50 years or so, China has had a standing army of 250,000,000 men.

Could I have references for those? Especially the last two. And the UK's part of Europe, and we haven't switched to the Euro. It's used by less than half of the countries. Also, dude, 50 years? Are you on crack? 50 years ago the Euro didn't EXIST. It began in 1999, but the currency actually launched in 2002. The EU... ah, just have a quote:

Wikipedia (which is your friend, so try reading about stuff before you say it
The European Union or the EU is an intergovernmental and supranational union of 25 democratic countries known as member states. The European Union was established under that name in 1992 by the Treaty on European Union (the Maastricht Treaty). However, many aspects of the Union existed before that date through a series of predecessor relationships, dating back to 1951.

Also, how do they prove god? Every religion out there claims to have prophecies come true, why is yours any different?

You see, it's really a scheme by the Illuminati to make people think there is a God, by manipulating Europe into causing these things. It's called a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I can see the fnords!

(the above won't make sense unless you're smart enough to have read the Illuminatus! trilogy. It may not make sense even then)

Uh. Some people wrote stuff, and then those things happened. That doesn't prove the existence of god. I mean, here, watch this:

I'm going to drink some water. I wrote a definitive statement, see?

. . . Aaaand . . .

I just drank some water! Holy s**t! God exists!

No.

You're doing it all wrong. You have to claim that god exists, therefore you'll drink water.

Quote:
"God exists, so I should drink some water."
*drinks water*
"See? I drank some water! Ia! Ia! God fhtagn!"

Proof in God is contradictory.

God doesn't want to prove him/her/itself. After all, he/she/it is GOD.

That's why faith is valued so highly. When you can just trust God enough that he/she/it exsists and, ultimatally, will take care of you.

I'm tempted to put "I'm Christian, so Athiests STFU" in my sig, but I can bet someone will complain about it... and I'd rather not put up with that.

philosophically, you can prove - beyond reasonably doubt - that God exists. but on the same coin with a different argument, you can also prove - beyond reasonable doubt - that He doesn't . . .

it's called a faith for a reason . . .

Too bad Dan Brown is tied up in court at the moment or I'm sure he'd sue.
