I've only now really started looking into anything, so here's a list of bullet points with everything I think is relevant to the investigation.
-The identity of number nine is unknown. I am also going out on a limb to say the identity of number seven is unknown. There is no proof saying who it is, so I will not give number seven an identity.
-In determining those identities, we must look for a pattern among those who were gifted. Those gifted are among the more active or more well-known in the guild.
-Given the previous statement, it is highly likely that one of the unknowns is Renon and one of the others may very well be Alice.
-There does not appear to be much more to it than the selections being based off of those the anon most closely associates with. The reveal of the other two will greatly assist in finding out who the anon is.
-In determining the anon, we must look deeper. There are the numbers, the date/time these messages were sent, and possibly some recent events.
-One obvious place to link together many who were gifted would be the recent April Fool's prank by Alice. If the numbers from Iosef's message were decoded properly by Adz, then they indeed make up 4/1/13, April Fool's Day.
-However there are two potential problems in linking everyone together with the prank. First, not everyone who we know have been gifted have posted in either the 'Good bye' thread or the 'Happy April Fools' thread before the messages were sent. (Kagura, Cree, Yuusha) Second, not everyone who has posted in either thread before the messages were sent were gifted. At least that we know of. (Kimzy) In addition, not everyone who made mention of the supposed departure in the Chatterbox were gifted. (Sissy)
-Conclusion: There is not enough information to make a solid case against someone, and there appears to be no solid link between everyone gifted other than being closely associated with the anon and being among the more well-known here. (Seriously, promote me to Detective Captain Obvious.) Most likely it will be difficult to make any case without knowing the identities of the last two slots. However, using the information we do have, there is reason to believe that the messages and/or anon have some relation to the recent occurrences of April Fool's Day.

You sir deserve some commendation for this post.Seriously, you're very thorough and nicely putting it, and I'm very well appreciative of the "Don't just accuse until you know" conclusion *Having already been accused without anyone having knowledge about anything yet*. Are you sure we're not missing anything already put up though? We might need a re-review or to not look so deep into what we already have put. Answer could easily just be in front of us and we're just looking too deeply into it (I did this hard with the sherlock holmes gaia mystery, admittingly, though I found some creative happenstances!!!)

Heh.. Thanks! Wait, someone really accused you? lol I may have started this investigation in a rather rash manner, but even I haven't directly accused someone yet! XD I think we've just about covered everything put up so far. I excluded the thing about wishlists because I can't say it's relevant. The most we can determine with the wishlist is that it's someone who knows all of us well. (I'll gladly take that promotion to Detective Captain Obvious now, thank you.) More than anything, we just need those last three messages. And if there's one thing that either needs to be re-reviewed or is just being looked into too deeply, it's probably the numbers or the numerology of the messages. (Oh man, almost everyone did some overthinking in that event!)
