Shura sighed as she walked down the hallways towards the Mizukages office. She had her headphones off of course since she knew that talking was important when here. Several people waved at her on her way in, she had always been well known in the village because of her father. Since his death people kept treating her extra nicely, which she didn't understand why. But as she approached the office she noticed the door was wide open, and according to her Sensory Information there were only two people in the office. She approached quietly and stood in the doorway for a moment taking in the sight of the Mizukage and older Shinobi who she had only seen a hand full of times since her father was alive. She carefully entered the room but only went in about three feet. "Umm.. Sorry to disturb you, but I was told to report in and get my headband from Lord Mizukage." Shura said shyly as she stood rather casually. She had moved her left hand to rest on the hilt of her Katana that she always carried strapped to her left side. It was a symbol that she was a Kenjutsuist, even if she only used it occasionally since it was mainly used for her main sword style.

The clone merely sighed, watching the Konin storm out with his piss-poor yet bi-polar attitude. Nevertheless, he looked towards Hirose who was still awaiting further orders. "If your able to infiltrate their perimeters and locate the man, by all means. But should you do so, make sure you reveal to have no ties to this village. Ease it as a simple conversation, though if forceful extraction is required then take care to single him out of help's reach before hand. Though if it comes to that...don't forget to erase the events of that day and yourself. It needs to go smoothly, and painless. Your only there to figure out what is going on, outside of what Kazu had already provided" He said, nodding briefly to the genin who had just left. It was then a young girl entered the room, shifting his attention upon her. "No you are fine" He said, motioning her to approach the desk. Once she had done so, he would reach into the drawer and withdrew a headband with the kiri emblem embedded upon the metal. Setting it before him, he looked up at her with a calm expression worn on his face. "Now, Shura I believe...tell me about yourself. Your specialties and what strives you to become a kunoichi of Kiri" He asked softly, awaiting an answer from her.

Shura nodded towards the Mizukage as she was given permission to come closer. She silently stepped closer till she was about her arms length away from the desk and was standing parallel with Hirose. She knew she had walked in at a bad time since she heard what Hirose's mission was, but she chose to act like she never heard it. She looked down at the headband the Mizukage had placed on the desk, but she didn't make any move to grab it since she wasn't given permission to do so. "Well as you know my name is Shura Hiyake, daughter of Kiri's late Todoro Hiyake... I specialize in Kenjutsu, Ninjutsu, and Fuinjutsu. I have currently graduated from the Academy and have become a new Genin of this nation, even though I have the training and skills for a Chuunin. I wish to participate in the Chuunin exams should they ever be held unless I may be given a private test... Otherwise my current goal is to serve our nation with honor as a swordswoman." Shura told him as her mood and tone of voice changed to that of someone who has had years of experience and knowledge. She stood more at the attention although she still kept a hand on her swords hilt, this made her look a bit older than she really was and even gave her that air of an experienced veteran. In essence she had changed from her fake personality of a shy and innocent girl that she used when in public, into her actual completely serious self.

The water shadow's clone looked at the girl with interest, listening to what she had to say in silence. He would nod occasionally, such as when she repeated her name and explained her recently deceased father. He heard of her from the academy teachers, as she possessed no bloodline unlike so many others within the village including himself. However, a bloodline isn't something that sets shinobi and kunoichi apart and make them special. Some are considered cursed, some are blessings to all, and some are but sheer annoyance. He respected her decision, her quest to achieve the next rank thus bringing her one step closer to serving the nation better then previously. Not to mention she maintains a hand on the hilt of her weapon, much like samurais back sometime ago in the feudal era He would note, writing in his documents which was within her file. He will keep an eye out on this one, for the time being he would have to rewrite squad listings and start getting on the Chuunins and higher ranking nin about training their squads and taking them on missions. "Hm, it's good to hear someone is willing to accept the responsibilities even some of our Chuunin lack. It's quite commendable, and well respected. For the time being, you may interact with the others in the village or train on your own. I am in the process of rearranging squads. Take your headband, and wear it with pride" The Mizukage stated, tossing the object towards the girl.

From out of the mist, there would be a dove breaking from the clouds and descending elegant towards the window sill of the Mizukage's office. With how well kept and prettied the bird was, specifically since it held gold ornaments upon it's being, it could be only the St.Pierre's day time messenger bird. It would lightly peck upon the window to gain admittance into the room as there would be an ancient and old fashion parchment attached to it's leg stating in olden time literature that seemed to have been translated so the Mizuage could understand:

At the end of the letter, there would be the signet symbol of the St.Pierre Family, as done in the olden days. Utilizing candle wax and pressing the family ring upon it so that the symbol was illustrated. A method used before the developement of stamps and such that his family hasn't been quite updated in; but at least, it would show who was foraging documents and who was not should it ever occur in the future.

But I was hoping to not be placed in a squad since i work better alone, if ya know what I mean... But before I go, I was wondering If i may get a mission? I'd prefer something like recon or even interrogation... Something better than a dull D-ranked mission." Shura asked in a rather sweet tone. She needed something to do, and since she was in the office she might as well ask the Mizukage himself for a mission. She calmly waited for his reply, and if he said no she would simply find something else to do, like training or something.

While he had no issues with assigning her a mission possibly higher ranked then D, he did have one with the fact she wished to be a loner. "While I might be able to grant you such permission to enact on a mission potentially C rank, you must be assigned in a squad. It's not only the rules but the law. That and it is one I will enforce. You'll be assigned to a squad, as of which one I have yet to decide. But as for a mission, here's one you might take interest in...still D rank, but it'll be one that is bigger in comparison to the others" He said, opening a file and browsing the contents within until he pulled the last one, which was wrapped in a scroll. Granted it's merely a copy, in which upon completion will disintegrate into nothing. Tossing the scroll to Shura he nodded his head. "This one holds a pretty fair reward for a genin. I suggest you take to it...there's a thief loose in the village" He said calmly, waiting for her reaction.
Meanwhile, his attention shifted over towards Kai, wondering what the young man might be. "Come in, what is it" He inquired briefly before hearing a tapping noise on the window. Standing up he walked towards the window in which he saw a bird, with a message wrapped upon it's leg. Opening it he held out his forearm letting the bird perch itself as he brought it in, taking the parchment from it's limb and opening the contents. From the style and writing of the parchment, he could tell it was from Noel, and upon further reading he pondered upon the mission request. He'll be able to grant the request, and thus written it so on a small parchment he had in his desk along with the mission contents. Re-attaching it to the bird's leg he sent the avian animal on it's way, closing the window behind it's departure.

But she perked up a bit when she heard she was given a mission, and that it was D-ranked but difficult. The mission involved taking down a Thief, but it didn't say if he needed to be brought in alive or not. "Thief... Alright.. I'll be back when the mission is done. Thank you, Lord Mizukage.." Shura said as she caught the scroll and gave him a polite bow before she turned to leave. She then calmly walked out of the office as she thought about how to draw the Thief out.

They had been dawdling for the better part of the day [week?] in coming here, not immediately ready to get back to work yet, but they both knew the reprieve couldn't last forever. It had been timed however. Karth knew that with the arrival of the new Mizukage that all the Shinobi in the village would have been crowding around to greet him and get their points across. Waiting until now would surely make it easier for them to get in, introduce themselves, then get out with whatever task they received. "Well here goes nothing." Kiyoko could not help but follow her brother as they made their way to the Mizukage's tower. They did have to get back to work at one point so it was not going to do them any good to keep on postponing it. 'At least I hope that we will be able to do something useful.' she thought. Even if she was assigned to some insignificant mission, it would have some importance and that would be enough to please her, for a while at least. Even though she had a lazy side of her, she also wanted to advance as a shinobi and become as good as she could be, but for that to happen she would have to get into more missions so that she could do more for the village. Upon reaching the door that led to the Mizukage's office, Kiyoko let her brother do the honors of knocking, not that it was anything important. 'I wonder what kind of person he is...' she thought as they would wait for a permission to enter the room.

As Luo walked up to the large building, he took a deep breath before opening one of the double doors to enter. Walking in, he waited patiently in the line that seemed to form in front of the secretary's desk. As he scanned the room he sighed, not seeing his friend anywhere in the vicinity. Exhaling a bit loudly, he thought to himself, "Late as usual. I should've just dragged him out of bed myself." It wasn't an uncommon occurrence either, since the two had been chosen since birth as squad-mates, as well as brothers; not by blood, but by birthright. It seemed of the two their clans had for twelve previous generations worked in tandem together, creating a perfect synchronization between the two as far as both temperament and ability go. So it was no different that Luo while calmer and more serious, was paired with a lazy prankster. Still, the two never tired of being in each other's company. One could say they complimented each other.
"Well, at least he has some time to get here since this line looks pretty long," Luo thought to himself as he stepped forward after a few people were done. Lucky for them their parents had arranged an appointment for the pair to officially receive their headbands and graduate. If there was one thing Luo was excited about, it was finally getting on the field. Literally years of training both in the academy and out of it with second half of the Haji/Ushi pairing trained him for everything after this meeting. A small grin escaped his lips, excitement seeping out of every pore. He tried his best to contain himself though, something his other half simply didn't do. Still, for any shinobi this day was a great day, one of new beginnings and a bright future. At least, that's what he hoped for.

Who has seen the wind? Neither you nor I; But when the leaves start trembling, the wind is passing through.
"Man...I overslept again!" Zane exclaimed as he dashed through the streets of Kirigakure. This shouldn't have as a surprise to him, he was always late. Then again, the one thing he was not looking forward to was Luo's lecture. He was always lecturing Zane on the importance of being on time. Usually it went one ear and out the other, but it was always a hassle to deal with. Luo was probably waiting for him already. For that reason, Zane sped up in order to hasten his arrival. Since before the academy, Zane and Luo have been inseparable. Zane, who was a overly excited prankster, while Luo was a calm minded and studious ninja, the two of them complimented each other in both personalities and fighting styles.
Coming to a halt in front of the dwelling of the Mizukage, Zane gasped to catch his breath. He had run at his top speed in order to get here, which sadly wasn't as fast as Luo's. Unlike Luo who was a kenjutsu specialist, Zane was a long range fighter. Walking inside, Zane's attention immediately went towards his counterpart, his brother. Zane gave him a childish smile as he scratched the back of his head embarrassingly. Zane knew exactly what Luo was thinking, that he was extremely late and kept him waiting. Then again, it looked like the Mizukage was busy with others lined up waiting to meet with him as well.

As a gust of chilled air from the spring breeze outside hit Luo's back, he turned naturally to see just who had come in. Of course, it was just the person he was looking for. As usual, he gave a childish grin, scratching the back of his head as if trying to remember something he had forgotten, in this case being the time he was supposed to show up. Instantly, Luo's head lowered as his hair fell neatly to cover his left eye. "Nine Zane, nine. Not nine thirty-two, not nine seventeen, not nine o' one. Nine. Tsk, this day is important. Why would you show up late to this of all things?" The torrent began as usual, only the hair on top of his head hid a slowly creeping grin. Placing a hand on Zane's shoulder, he leaned in lifting his head, revealing his face. He said just quiet enough for only Zane to hear, "This is the day we get to officially go out there and show everyone what we've been training for. Week after week, month after month, year after year. I thought of all days you'd be just as excited as I was to get official permission to kick some a**. Baka"
With a smile, he pushed Zane with the hand he placed earlier on his friends shoulder. The shove was light enough to denote a joking nature, yet just hard enough to knock him off balance at his last sentence; Luo's way of letting Zane know just cause he was in a particularly good mood, he was still miffed about him being late.
As they neared the front of the Line, Luo spoke up to the secretary, her codename written on the plaque in front of her desk. "Good morning miss Morrigan. We have an appointment to see the Mizukage. Luo Ushio, and Zane Yuki Hajime." Luo didn't mention his middle surname, after all the clan was nothing more than a few whispers and a legend these days. She wouldn't believe it even if he did. Finding the reservation, she let them through, chastising their tardiness. Walking up the stairs Luo muttered, "Best behavior Zane, BEST BEHAVIOR. First impressions with the Mizukage will set the tone for how much he likes us. We need that." Turning his head and nodding to Zane, he turned back and patiently knocked on the door, standing in a military style "at ease" position. It was their time to shine.
