Jing felt nothing but pain, his sister was far away, farther than he ever liked, and getting farther each passing second. the elf that refused to let him go began to drag him. Its grubby little hands wrapped around his ankle and pulled with a strength that surprised him. "get off, back i say back!" he cried out in alarm, stabbing at the beast with an arrow from his hand. the distance was far too close to fire the arrow normally. the chance of getting shot in the foot was far too great.
it was a story that he'd rather not tell to anyone once it was all over. the elf let out a tiny shriek, a mournful and hollow sound that gave no pleasure to the textile weaver. He just wanted to go back, back to his sister and make sure they were both safe.
together. "Get rid of it while you can sister, before its too late!"

The elf thing was annoying. And it was somehow pulling her closer still. "No!" She kicked at it, the tried to pry it off again, but still, she inched closer.
The voice in her head was clear and cold.
Sherry paused for a moment. She hadn't even realized how frazzled the creature had made her. Right. Sherry took a deep breath, turned her glaive around, and stabbed it right through the creature made of fog.
It disappeared, and the pulling stopped.

Everytime he smacked the elf that had its sticky little shadow hands wrapped around him, it seemed to garner a certain element of glee from the abuse that Sharra was dealing to it. Oh that...that definitely seemed healthy. "You're demented you know." He grumbled.
It giggled. And pulled him closer for his trouble.
Lizzy tried to stay close to Demi - the friend of a friend in a fog-shrouded environment was better than none - but the elves were relentless. Since he seemed to be dealing with his own elf, she concentrated on getting rid of hers, giving it a kick, attempting to punt it away the same way one would punt a gnome.
"I'll be... Right there..." Her voice was strained, as she pulled against the elf; how could something so tiny contain so much pulling force?
Talons extended, he swiped at the stupid elf with a vengeance, teeth bared in a feral smirk. He should have known that Tybalt would not be particularly receptive to what was going on with him right now - except that Ren, in spite of everything, had been hoping for a little...support. The fact that he wanted it from Tybalt, of all people, should have been a sign that something was up, but truth be told that Tybalt was probably his closest male friend after a certain nix had left school.
And truth be told, Ren rather liked Tybalt, in spite of all the bickering and squabbling he did with the black dog, though perhaps it had just been foolish of him to consider the two of them friends at all.
"I don't have a reason," he said, reclining back, his hands still talons, though the rest of his body was not that of a gryphon. He gave a small little shrug, a smile playing at the corners of his lips.
Growling, the war horseman stopped her flailing and spread out her wings. "You! Stop it. Now." Jay sneered at the elf before she stabbed it with her dagger. Hopefully that would make it think twice about pulling her toward the vortex.

Despite all of her attacking and yammering, the elf still continued to pull her forward by grabbing onto her feet. Jay stared at it for a long time before she chose to poke it once more with her blade. It wasn't as hard as before, but it seemed to do some damage.

He was slowly getting pulled closer and closer to the center. Gritting his teeth, Shun struck the elf once more, but it persisted to cling to him. It was starting to really get on his nerves. But hopefully he would soon be free of this annoyance.

There was an audible 'click' as Tybalt's teeth closed together. It was the same with everyone. Whether it was Ren, Remi, or Night, all of them expected him to just accept and understand what was going on. Well he wouldn't. Not without having it properly explained to him. Their reasons that was. Which apparently, Ren wasn't going to do.
"What makes you think I wouldn't understand? You're not even going to try and explain it to me?" He shot the gryphon, one of the few people he could call his friend, an angry look and re-directed that anger at the elf's face. "Don't look down on me!"
