Naano listened as Lulu continued to talk about flowers. She nodded at Ryan's suggestion "Sure, we might as well." Gyms never really had an appeal to Naano, she didn't want to beat the elite four or anything either. But, she believed that her Pokemon needed the experience.
The silence between them was awkward, and Naano wished for it to be as easy as yesterday.
Seeing as there was nothing to say, she tried an ice-breaker. "So, do you have any hobbies?" Oh she was so lame...

Ryan raised an eyebrow. "You don't have to try and initiate a conversation...silence is never a bad thing." he told her with a hint of amusement in his voice. "There's a grass-catching contest today...would you like to go to it? It's nearby." He asked, reading from a brochure he'd picked up.

Ah, silence. I suppose I have to get used to it eventually. Her thoughts culminated in silence, it was just a matter of choosing which ones to throw out, and which to keep.
She thought about the contest, and smiled. "Sure, it sounds fun, how close is it from here?".

Ryan pulled up a map of Coria on his tablet-like Poketech. "It's in Nettaiurin Forest, which is probably a few hours walk away. It starts at noon, so we would get there just on time if we left in the next half hour or so. Let's stop by the Center and Mart first, and then maybe grab some food, then go."
He paused and took a glance at the Pokeballs at his belt. "I'm not a grass Pokemon fan, and I've already got Crow anyways, but there's a prize if you win."

Ayato was still wondering around the Village, he was thinking about his next move. " Hmm.." he noticed a poster on the side of a building. "Grass catching contest...." He smiled. " I can get a Servine there for sure.." He chuckled. I could also possibly get some other pokemon for my Lord. He thought. "Nettaiurin Forest.. that's not to far." He decided to make his way over to the Nettaiurin Forest for the competition. As he was walking he saw a mighty strong Ryhorn walking near him. "Alright, Sniffes common out." Cubchoo appeared. "Let's do some training, use Frost breathe!" "Cubbb!" He shot a frozen mist at the Ryhorn KOing it with one hit. "Excellent job." "Alright, well let's head to the Pokecenter first and stock up on some Pokeballs and such." Her stomach growled loudly at the mention of food, she hoped Ryan didn't hear..
Once they arrived, she went up to the counter and asked "Can I have 5 pokeballs and 3 potions please?". She gathered her stuff into her bag, and checked to make sure each of her Pokemon was ready to go. Walking up to Ryan she said "I'll wait for you outside."
As she exited the doors she let her pokemon out of their balls and watched them play around. It seemed like Shadow was warming up to Eva really quickly. "How cute" she cooed quietly.

Ryan bought a lot of medicinal stuff for his Pokemon and had the Nurse plop them in her machine. He also bought a new water container and some freeze dried food. The Nurse handed him his Pokemon and he walked outside of the center. Hopefully I can catch some rare grass Pokemon for Cattivita... he thought to himself.
"Looks like we got some time before it starts. Wanna get some food?" Ryan asked her. Lulu noticed how comfortable Ryan had grown around Naano.

  Toby round around a corner the event flyer in his hand as he laughed he didn't see that his shoe was untied. A misstep and down Toby went...right in front of an old friend... "WHOA!!!!"Necros levitated with the backpack as Toby slipped his arms from the straps to roll in front of his friend...

The Pokemon had enjoyed their little break and as Ryan came out of the center Naano retrieved all of them into their balls except for Eva, who she carried around in her arms. At his question, she eagerly nodded "Most definitely." They walked through the town, looking for a place to eat. The smell of fried food lingered in the air, and Naano followed the scent. Soon, the pair came upon a fast food resturante. "Alright! Burgers and fries and soda!" She didn't know why, but she had a huge craving for the stuff.
As they walked in, she noticed the state of the place. It was a little run down, as was the town, but she didn't mind. They had food, and she was happy with that. Walking up to the cashier she said "I'll have a number 2 with large fries and a Dr. Pepper please." The number two was a double cheese burger, which oozed cheese out of it's sides like Mt. Vesuvius oozed lava on Pompei. I'm getting really creative with my descriptions she thought to herself.
She sat down at a table with her food and waited for Ryan. As she clicked each Pokeball open, she fed her Pokemon a combination of berries and a special brand of Pokefood she had with her.

Ryan sat down with Naano. He had gotten three orders of curly fries, two large drinks, and four cheeseburgers. At Naano's look, he shrugged.
One of the cheeseburgers was actually Lulu's, and she happily munched on it. Pokefood is grody she explained.
Crow and Vampyre disagreed. They happily ate the load of berries and Pokemon Food Ryan had set aside for them.

Staring at Ryan's plate, Naano giggled "Uh Ryan, it's not winter yet, you don't have to stock up on food before hibernation." Teasing him would be fun, and she was getting pretty comfortable around him so why not?
She hungrily munched on her food, and ate it all quickly. Throughout the process she got up to get multiple refills, and even some more fries. Perhaps I'm being a tad hypocritical...
Her Pokemon were laying on their sides with their stomachs full to the brim. Clicking each Pokeball open, Naano placed her Pokemon inside them. Even Eva was called in, there was no way she was carrying her Eevee when she herself was stuffed. While she waited for Ryan to finish up his supersized meal, she retrieved her drawing pad from the depths of her purse and began sketching Eva and Shadow playing together. The scene from earlier was still replaying in her mind and she couldn't help smile at it.

Ryan ate all 3 of his hamburgers and scarfed down the drinks. He didn't hesitate to devour the curly fries, either, although Lulu was a little annyoed that he didn't leave any for her. He noticed after he had put his tray up that Naano was drawing. "Oh that's cool." he said.
Lulu added on it. Oh is that Eva and Shadow? Oh oh are they mates? Probably not. They're gonna be mates, I bet they'll be mates, oh I wonder if I'll have a mate one day~ Ryan bopped her lightly on the head. "I'd prefer to not hear about Pokemon's sexual partners in the detail you're about to give out." he told her. She shrugged and drifted off, talking about flowers again.

Tobren looked up, "Oh, Mr.Sonne! Nice to see you again, are you going to the Catching Event?"Necros levitated there as Toby stood, brushing himself off and slipping the backpack back one. He smiled at the older male...Necros went back inside the bag. Snuggling up to the Poke-Egg Necros mentally grumbled about the bright sunlight...
