Tamed and Ready!
Moving down the mountain side Mitsu saw a field not far off that held a number of ink creatures. Perhaps her bear had decided to gather there. Carefully she made her way down the slope, it was a treacherous path, winding around trees as she took switchbacks all the way down. Somehow she managed not to get lost, the trail leading right out into the open field. She was tired though, keeping her balance and traversing through the forest had taken some work but now came the hard part. Finding her creature.
Wide eyes scanned the area, moving through the inky grass hoping she wouldn't have to make her way all the way over to the bamboo forest. It would probably take her a while to get there if that was the case.
After some time Mitsu managed to spot a rather large, blob like creature. It seemed to be happily munching away at something. When it lifted its head Mitsu was able to distinguish those blobby eyes right away. It was her bear!
She started her way over but the bear suddenly started to move.
"H..Hey! Hey wait!" Mitsu stumbled after it, falling a few times and tripping over something in the grass. She had come all this way and now her creature was just going to stroll away without her!
It was a struggle to keep moving, by the time she finally caught up with the panda Mitsu was winded. She leaned forward now that it had stopped, her hands on her knees as she took deep steady breaths.
When she had finally regained her bearings Mitsu looked up toward the panda that had its back currently toward her. She was supposed to tame it. But how? Slowly she approached, the bear looking over its shoulder in an almost bored manner.
"H..hello." Mitsu greeted hastily bowing shortly after wondering if being polite would win it over.
Apparently not. The bear snorted and took a seat keeping its back to the lycan. Brows furrowed Mitsu moved around to face the creature but as she did it turned to keep its back toward her. It was doing it on purpose!
"Alright, Mr. Bear," Mitsu pushed back the sleeves on her tunic in an 'I mean business' kind of way. She stormed forward ready to show the panda who was boss when she managed to spot something not far off. They weren't really close to the bamboo forest but here by her was a small sprig of bamboo shooting up out of the ground.
Carefully picking it Mitsu approached the panda once again holding out the offering of food. It seemed to gain the creature's attention as it turned, sniffing the treat. Its large mouth opened to take it but Mitsu was quick to pull it back wanting the panda to come to her. The frustration was clear but the panda finally turned around on its rear, grumbling as it looked at the lycan. It's massive head tilted forward trying for the bamboo again but once again was denied as Mitsu pulled it back.
"Come to me," Mitsu commanded, using her voice she reserved for training minis.
The panda grumbled again, hesitating before it finally budged lifting up off the ground. It made its way somberly toward her and waited. After a short moment Mitsu finally offered it the bamboo again as a reward. The creature tilted its head making sure this time it could have it before it finally munched down on the bamboo rather contently.
When it seemed to harbor no ill will toward her Mitsu gently rested a hand on its head giving it a pat. She smiled at the bear enthusiastically, scratching it behind the ear. "I think I will call you Ludwig 2."
That was all Mitsu managed to get out before she was suddenly transported out of the picture and back into the classwork. It took her a moment of blinking to realize what happened, looking around the room and then at herself to see that everything was back to normal. Quickly she made her way over to the picture trying to find her panda and found him back at the bamboo forest a bit of bamboo hanging from his mouth now.

Since they had spent the first two days Making ink and painting, Poke was slightly curious as to what they would do with the remaining time. As she entered the building, she saw that all the tables were gone, but the scroll was still there. So what exactly were they...
The professor waved her hand, and all of a sudden she felt her feet leaving the ground, drawn towards the picture in front of her. Everything went out of focus as she now found herself falling, the world spinning around her at a dizzying rate. Soon enough she felt the ground underneath her again, but instead of seeing the familiar classroom, she was now surrounded by tall stalks of bamboo.
Not to mention that everything was now black and white, and looking at her hands, they had taken upon the appearance of a ink painting. It didn't take a huge amount of brain power for her to deduce that she had been sucked into the painting. Although it was a very weird feeling, to be part of a picture...
Soon however, She heard Professor Zhang's voice explaining to them what they had to do, which was to tame their beasts. It sounded like today's lesson was going to be alot more interesting compared to the previous days, that was for sure.

((I rolled dyslexic, my first roll is below this one but this is the RP for it ok? ok.))
Something told Riley that there would be more to this class than just drawing. When she walked in, and was immediately sucked into the painting, she looked out over the cliff and made a soft noise of interest. At least this was something she could say she'd never done before, or seen.. and that, in and of itself, was enough to make it interesting.
She moved forward, assuming that her elephant would be easy to find - and thankful she hadn't drawn some kind of small critter instead.

Fully Tamed and Powered up!
The idea that something she had drawn was now alive and roaming about was in itself bizarre. But now having to tame the very same thing? Poke moved through the bamboo trees, pondering on how the professors had been able to give her drawing life in the first place. Was it a kind of illusion, or perhaps some powerful magic? But then, weren't reapers the only one who could do magic? weird...
She soon focused her thoughts on trying to escape the bamboo forest. The ink stalks didn't look very strong, but there was plenty of them around, obscuring her vision. She pushed and shoved through the stalks, flinching when she felt a broken bamboo branch cut into her skin across her hip, where blood began to pool. It wasn't a deep cut, but it did hurt, and made her shirt even more raggedy looking (If the horsemen dared to comment on her clothes...)
Eventually she stumbled out of the forest, finding herself in a clear grassy field. She could see a few other beasts in the distance, with a few students to boot. But where was hers? She gazed across the field, eyes trying to locate her drawing, when she spotted something familiar. A pair of antlers, hidden among the grass. She ran towards it, but as soon as she got close, they disappeared. She looked around, but it was hard to tell the difference between the strokes of grass and her drawing. After a while of searching, she found it once again, half concealed in the grass as it watched her, waiting.
She approached the beast, a lindworm in design, watching how it reared up and flexed it's claws as she got closer, jaw opening to show her it's teeth. It growled disapprovingly, not wanting to admit that she was it's master, and with a snarl, it lunged at her.
Poke had little time to scramble out of the way, nearly getting knocked over in the process. She faced the lindworm, bearing her own canines as she growled out a challenge. It shook it's head in frustration, and tried another frontal charge. This time the dragon ghoul stood her ground in a attempt to out muscle it, but was instead thrown when the lindworm lowered it's head and then pushed up. It looked as if her drawing had more strength then she first thought.
Quickly getting to her feet, She decided to try a different tactic. Before the drawing could attack her, she ran behind it, taking hold of it's scales (or ink, in this case), and hoisted herself onto it's back, grabbing the horns. The lindworm, of course, did not like this and immediately began thrashing, trying to buck her off.
"Yeee-HAW!" She couldn't help it, feeling more like a cowghoul taming a raging bull. She held on for dear life, not wanting to relinquish control of her own drawing. Soon the lindworm began to tire, merely shaking it's head in a exhausted attempt to dislodge her, until it slumped to the ground.
Once she deemed it safe, she slipped of the back, where it turned it's head to look at her, it's eyes filled with admiration. She gently patted it's head, before she felt herself being pulled up, and within moments she was standing in the classroom once more.

((This was my cliff roll, my 3d6 roll that is associated with this rp post is located here because I dyslexic rolled.)) Riley had no issue getting to the field atop the cliff, and sure enough, her elephant was easy to spot. It stood there, swaying it's trunk gently in the breeze, and stared her down as it came forward. It was hardly interested in here, and wouldn't be running away anytime soon.
It was, however, a giant elephant, and her ink-like form was not as strong as she had hoped. She immediately crouched and jumped onto it's back, gripping the ink beast tightly as it roared from it's trunk and stared charging forward. It bucked as it ran, trying to knock her off, and she slammed into it's body over and over. Finally, it managed to succeed, and Riley flew into the stained air, slamming into the ground right in front of the elephant. It rose both of it's front hooves up, preparing to slam down into her, but they landed on the ground right beside her instead, and it glared ferociously from it's beady little eye.
The elephant did not appreciate Riley's attempt to tame it. At all.Ugh! Failed Tame!

Her eyes went slightly wide staring at the supplies brought out, they might have seemed plain to to the room but to a ghoul who had very little in the way of fancy things for herself? This was simply amazing.
Very carefully she stood up glancing towards her teachers each in turn bowing deeply, "Thank you, I'll be sure to return the supplies before leaving." She gathered up all her supplies before quietly slipping away.
-------
After spending the evening playing a few rounds of Diplomacy and working with the ink and paper she had been given, the ghoul finally returned to the class again, her arms where folded behind her back and she was much more confident in how she walked while wearing the outfits Invictus had lent her.
For a while she stood listening and things seemed to be going well, but suddenly the world started to shift and she found herself being pulled forward. For a moment she felt like the head of Conquest himself had been using his black hole again. Instead rather then being crushed she suddenly found herself looking up from where she was stuck in the painting. She then looked down and realized.
s**t this mountain looked smaller from above.
"Well... I guess I have to find a tiger now..." She turned to the side moving along what looked to be a path very careful as she wasn't sure what in this new world was and wasn't solid ground yet.

Everything happened so quickly and it was so surreal. She was inside of the scroll, the painting. All around her were beautifully inked bamboo, so tall and elegant looking. How was such a thing possible? It seemed the longer she was in this land, the more amazed she became of everything they could do. She so desperately wished she could stay behind and join them. She wondered if they accepted exchange students at all?
When the instructions came, she was nervous. While she had painted an adara demon beast, it didn't mean it would act much like an adara or a demon. He could.. be threatening, even violent! The last thing she wanted was to be attacked by her own creation but an order was an order and she wanted to show the professors that she was serious about learning their ways. Without wasting another second, she started off through the bamboo forest looking for her beast.

Ugh! Failed Tame!
After a few seconds of testing the bounds of the painted world, what dark lines where edges, washed out ink being land and some blank areas simply being highlights on a path, and also the empty space on the side of a cliff she started to move quicker. The path was clear and she moved quickly along it, her feet felt odd not kicking up dirt with each step but she was still able to make good time to the clearing where all the beasts lingered.
The problem was, where was her tiger? It's stripes seemed to blend so well among the other ink streaks that she couldn't make out where it was. All among moving students and animals.
Finally she spotted the beast lingering on a rock, paws crossed and eyes leveled at her. It seemed disappointed. Slowly it stood up from the rock letting out a low growl before leaping forward. Ink seemed to flicker and trail as it moved knocking her over. She rolled back kicking hard to flip the beast over herself, barely she pulled it off as the tiger turned to growl at her again.
"I painted... you too well..." she lamented as the beast threw it's whole weight right at her again heavy paws swinging hard at her. She raised her arms blocking the blows but still stumbled side to side. With each blow Sammy grew a bit weaker, it felt like her ink was running? Or was that blood, she wasn't sure.
No matter how hard she tried the few blows she landed, the Tiger just seemed to continue smacking her around. Eventually she fell over and the tiger relented. It was disappointed in it's creators skill, still it had fought bravely and the Tiger moved to nudge Sammy up with its head.
"You win today Cat. But if they put me in here again I'm going to win the next one." As if to disagree the tiger shifted its weight sending Sammy stumbling slightly to the side. "Oh haha very funny..."
Still she turned to look up out the paper trying to bow, but next thing she knew she was standing in the room facing her teachers outside the paper. Her bow wavered slightly as her body adjusted to the normal plane of existence and she looked up again.
"That was.... very interesting." She glanced down at the paper again before looking back to the teachers bowing her head again, "Thank you again for the lesson." She waited for a nod or a bow in turn before she raised herself up and took her leave of the class to experiment with ink again back at the dorms.

Tyalessa was surprised to find no tables when she walked into class today, she had expected to do more painted, or rather hoped they would to get her mind off of what happened yesturday. When she got sucked into the painting, she had to give a moment to try and stop the feeling of hurling, she figured she must suffer from motion sickness or something. She hadnt realised that she had grabbed a tall green stick till she looked up, they had very thin branches and small leaves and they all looked quite study, studier than a real tree. Then she got the shock of a life time when she saw her body wasnt quite right, it looked painted on Of all the weird things.... she was cut off mid thought for the teachers voice, making her ponder even more on how she was able to project her voice while they where in what looked like the painting the assissant had... "what a min....we ARE inside his painting?! How in pumpkins name did that happen"

Tamed and Ready!Quote: 1 : You took so long that you probably exhausted yourself just trying to get to the field! Perhaps you got lost or stuck? Quote: 4 - 5 : You located your beast pretty easily, but... Wait... Why is it moving away from you?! It took you some energy to finally chase it down. Quote: 3 - 5 : You won the battle, but not by much. Still, a win is a win, and your beast acknowledged your strength and is happy to have you as its master. [Tamed!] She was unsure just how long she had been wandering through the forest. She was sure she got lost and circled more than a few times but the bamboo looked so similar. Perhaps she just didn't have an eye for the finer details yet. No sooner than she had been about to give up, she stumbled into the field.
It didn't take her long to spot her beast, she had created it after all, but it was walking off and away from her! "Hold on," she called out, beginning to chase after it. It seemed to have noticed her now because the blasted thing started running faster! If not for being in good shape, she probably would have lost the creature entirely but exercising paid off when she finally caught up to the beast. He stopped, turned and started starting at her in a creepy way.
Remember what she had learned about the adara, she kept her eyes focused on the creature and gave a courtesy bow. It looked at her as if challenging her in some way but she couldn't understand it. She placed her hands on her hips and fixed it with a stern stare, planting her feet firmly into the ground. Minutes felt like hours while the two creatures tried to out-stubborn the other. A few more moments pass and the rigidness of her body begins to send an ache down her back. As if sensing the weakness in her, the adara demon beast bowed his head, declaring her the victor. Even though she wasn't the best master it could have, it still seemed to accept her.
This time, Morrigan bowed towards the beast again, making sure that their demon horns clinked together as she did so. Then as quickly as she had arrived in the inkscaped world, she was transported back out. She couldn't wait to get back to her room to tell Mimic of the newest adventure she had in this class.

Ugh! Failed Tame!
After Tyalessa finished calming down, she decided to get on with what shes been told to do, but there was a problem, these long study stick like trees grew so close together that it made it hard to see past them to look for openings to fields. With no way of climbing them either, Essa got lost easily, she didnt know whether she walked in circles or if she made progress but it took a very long time to get to the field the teacher talked about. After resting for a bit of non stop walking, Essa spotted her beast almost immediatly, the squatting monkey with wings, it seemed to notice her approach it a sort of angry manner but didnt run from her Oh, he really did mean they dont like waiting around It was so easy to find because by the time she got there, there were barely any beast left she took that long. Essa had been taken by surprise when her beast lunged at her, she was till suffering from motion sickness and her long walk through the forest that she had no strength left to fight it properally like others were doing, it was awful and in the end she was defeated by her beast "Ah, get off me little monkey, your squishing my chest!" Her beast did as it was told, so she had managed to tame it, somehow, but it didnt look happy about it. She found herself transported back to the classroom, along with a double feeling of motion sickness again. She had to give herself a minute before she raised her hand, bowed and staggered out of the classroom

Another day, another class. He was feeling very somber now. Having returned rather clumsily to his usual outcast-and-lonely existence, it was easier to feel sorry for himself. That, and he just wasn't sure how to feel about this place at all. It all seemed too good to be true and he didn't quite trust it.
Still, the horsemen here were nice enough, and that counted for something. Their enthusiasm was even almost infectious.
It wasn't until he realized exactly what the lesson would entail that Rafe started to perk up. They were....wait, whoa!
He was inside of a painting! That had certainly never happened before.
He looked around himself -- as much "around" as he could, seeing as he suddenly felt very flat -- and saw a wide bamboo forest all around. Hmm.
If he were a rat...no, wait, if he were the rat he had drawn....where would he be...

Third day of class. Mei wondered just exactly they would be doing today. As soon as she entered the room she noted that all the tables had been cleared away. Were they not to paint anymore today? As the professor spoke once the door was closed the ghoul tilted her head in confusion. Tame a beast? What beasts? Before she knew it Mei was pulled forward, sucked into the painting and the sense of falling overwhelmed her momentarily until she landed in what seemed to be an ink painting of a bamboo forest. Looking at her hands she also noticed that she seemed to be part of the panting as well. What was going on? She listened closely to the professors voice. Find and tame the beasts they painted yesterday. That seemed...simple enough. She would face the blob beast face to face then.

Well, okay.
This bamboo forest was probably not where to start looking. He could tell, because it made him feel uncomfortable, and he figured if he didn't like it, that any rat would dislike it. Right? Right.
Getting out, on the other hand, was not as easy as he wanted it to be. For one, everything looked the same. For another, he had no sense of direction, having been transplanted here without ever seeing the outside of the forest.
All of this resulted in a lot of walking around in circles. And hitting dead ends. And turning around and walking in circles some more.
Once he was fortunate enough to finally claw his way out of the trees, he saw the rat -- sitting up on fat grey haunches, happily munching away at something.
Awesome!
Then the rat, spooked by his sudden appearance, took off running. And Rafe, unable to shift into his rat form to follow, couldn't quite keep up.
Not awesome.
He chased. He ducked, and dodged, and weaved, and felt really weird chasing another rat. Why didn't he do this with something else? Oh well. The good news was, he knew at least more or less how the rat would run, and was finally able to cut him off.
He pounced, feeling very cat-like and wrapped his arms around the critter. AHA! He won!

Fully Tamed and Powered up!
She made her way through the bamboo forest, heading towards the field. Mei tripped on a fallen shoot, landing hard on her knee. "Ouch!" She cried, sitting back for a moment to give her knee a look over and gentle rub. At least it didn't seem too serious.
Continuing on she finally reached the field. There was a large heard of beasts, how would she find her own? Wandering among them she rubbed the back of her neck lightly, still feeling the slight pain in her knee from her earlier fall. But soon the herd of beasts began to thin out once the other students started taming theirs. And there she saw it, looking at blobby as ever with its glinting eyes that seemed filled with humor. "Alright beasty. Lets do this!"
Spreading her feet slightly apart, Mei readied herself for battle. She wasn't fully confident of her abilities, especially against this blobby beast but she would try her best. She would not fail this time.
The beast charged towards her and in seconds the battle was started. Mei tried her hardest to keep from being beaten. Dodging and attacking the beast. And then it was finally over. Mei's heart would of been beating a million miles an hour if her heart did beat. But apparently her efforts were not in vain. The beast bowed it's head in acceptance. Acknowledging Mei as it's master.
"Good beasty." She placed a hand on its head, giving it a small pet before she suddenly found herself sucked out of the painting and standing with her hand outstretched in the class room. Blinking, she looked around in an almost daze.
