"No problem! Nice to have a shopping buddy and sharing a meal with others, is much better than having one alone." She grinned back, tucking her shopping bag up under arm as she looked around the food court.
So many selections to choose from... it was kind of hard to pick. Especially when she had yet to try them all out.
"I don't know about you, but I could kill for a burger... How about Pumpkin King? When we're done there, maybe I can treat us to some desert at Casket Robbin' or Cinnabom? What do ya' say?" She asked, looking up at the taller boil.
She didn't bother asking the soul eaters opinion. He didn't really need to eat anything other than her Fear source and all he was likely to do was say something rude and insulting, like 'mind your figure' or some crap.
......
Okay, so maybe he wouldn't, but she still wasn't going to ask his opinion. This was for Haze to decide, after all.

 "No no no! Oh dear," Pepin panicked seeing the valk ghoul who'd arrived with Lattice fretting on the table. Floating up close she wrapped her arms around her tightly and let herself hang from the taller ghoul. "Shsshhhhhh... shshhhhh... I'VE GOT YOU NOW WE CAN STOMP ON THEM IF WE NEED TO," she whispered loudly then looked at Lattice. "Start stompin!!" she cried.

"Nice till he makes a mess of everything in your room." Sharpie paused blinking up at the two, "Hey! You need me just as much as I need you so no fussing when I ink things up a bit!" Of course the reaper only shook his head sadly tsking slightly before going back to the fight.
"I think he'll manage and the rats do seem to be scampering about." He blinked, his hand was grabbed, why was she holding his hand? They just met! They didn't even know each others names! The green eyes behind glasses widened slightly confused at what just happened.
"Y-yes your f-friend." He mumbled before letting her tug him along in confused silence. Sharpie of course was polite enough to drop the rat at his feet and move to join the two and Freya. "We can always burn the mice up..."

Was absolutely noooot expecting to have the ghul threaten to flash him. He honestly wasn't that upset about it though. Not as much as one might expect though. " S-simple misunderstanding? You don't need to flash me," He stuttered. " I-I'm not going to s-school yet either... b-but a good experience at least?" He asked, looking verrry hopeful. His whole train of thought though derailed as the ghoul approached. He didn't speak though. Just stared. In quiet bafflement. not sure what to make of them /either/. He turned his gaze back to Richard though as if expecting him to be the one to talk now.

And there, Richard had him now like a feline playing with a mouse, not that there weren't any mice around for him to compare the look to. There even was a cat, to make things funnier, and the ghul merely turned his head again to address the figure who approached and spoke out of turn. Honestly, did anyone around here have manners? It would be up to Richard than, to properly school them both on how things should be done. It would be his pleasure, nay, his privilege.
"My dear, I have no idea of what you're talking about. I'm not from around here, nor do I wish to be from around her, so I'm afraid you're simply out of luck." He was mocking, his tone wheedling, but none the less he motioned for this newcomer to have a seat at their table as well, if to do nothing more than feed his amusement. Having both a male and female to abuse was always a good thing and he intended to make the best of his little conversation today. "You are welcome to join our stunning and riveting conversation though, Al here is quite good at speaking his mind. If you're lucky you might just be able to get a word in edgewise."
A hand motioned over to the faun, as if to indicate that he desired his speaking companion to do what he did best, long before he decided that a stutter would somehow save him from Richard's scathing remarks. "Though if you will excuse me a moment, I do have something I need to say to someone else, but I shouldn't take long to return. Feel free to talk among yourselves in my absence."
His chair was pushed back as he made his way over towards the ghouls he had heard with the mice ordeal, a smile spreading on his stitched face. "Ladies? If we're going to be stomping rats, may I ask that you actually scream louder? I'd hate to think you were anything but pathetic in your adventures and attempts to drive away lesser creatures." He was, of course, speaking to Freya and Pepin.

The rats scatters, and TG was left panting. Shivering, he held his phone before he was sure they were gone, and then walked back to the ghouls, finding his jacket and throwing it over his head. SO COLD!!!!
When his head popped out, he adjusted his coat and looked at the ladies. "All the rats are gone now." Enzo included.

[ Emil is a quest QvQ ]Emil never did like the Maul.
It was busy, and much too loud for his liking. Usually it was his mother who would go to the maul but here he stands, inside the busy halls of the building and attempting to stay out of the busy traffic of ghouls and boils wondering around. He hurried off towards the side of the hall as it seems much less occupied then the rest of the hall.
Emil took out a small list from his pocket and went through it twice before scouting around. Now, where is that Scaremark Store? He better find it soon, so he can leave this place early.
The noise is starting to burn.

With Freya came a giggling glitch ghost who landed on a soft squishy body before rolling to the side laughing still.
That was until Richard came over and the ghost narrowed her eyes darkly then proceeded to let him have it. "I'll give you something to scream about, #^&$@@! butt."
The swear literally appeared as a blur of pixels on her lips as she pushed herself up in front of Freya defensively.

Lattice let out a sound of dismay as Freya (and Pepin by proxy) fell off the table and she let go of the boil's hand she'd been holding to try and catch them before they hit the ground but it would seem too late unless someone was quicker.
"Freya! Pepin! Are you alright? Please be alright!" Lattice was now fretting the earlier banter from the Reaper and his Cat forgotten at the moment in her concern.
She glanced at TG, "Thank you for getting rid of those rats...I just...." Her attention returned to Freya as she moved to where the Valkyrie and the ghost attached to her fell and knelt.

Freya was lying on the ground, legs in the air, laughing her a** off at the fall - until Pepin picked her up and used her body as a shield for Freya. She blinked, startled at the sudden change in view, and flung her arms up in the air, letting out a whoop.
"SAFE."
She might have hit her head on the way down.

"Oh me oh my, such language from a lady. I'm appalled, truly. Can you not see the look of terror on my face?" Richard did not have a look of terror on his face. Richard in fact had a scary look on his face, with his face open as best it could be in a smile and one eye open wider than the other. A smoke seemed to be coming from the holes in his cheeks as well, though it was probably just normal breath. "You have stolen my very soul away, taken it off to a land of fear! but no, seriously. Scream more, it's music to my ears, and you look like you're built to be a screamer."
Was that supposed to be a sexual pass or an insult? It was hard to tell and Richard wasn't big on details. He was big on looking at this other girl who scrambled over, probably one of their friends. Must have been nice to travel in flocks, he thought, and so he repeated it. "Ah, the flock mentality. Must be better to travel together when only a single brain is needed."

Freya blinked at all of the words coming out of the boils mouth, and she put her chin on Pepin's shoulder.
"I don't knows if he's flirting with us or insultings us." She murmured with a giggle. "At least he's not a rat!"
And then the little red thing was asking Lattice for her kiss, and Freya's attention was STOLEN BY THIS EPIC MOMENT.

((Elden is a Quest)) Ahh yes, rats. There went another word Elden could recollect, green eyes lighting up with the mentioning and starting their widened sweep of the proximity. Rodents weren't his first choice of companionship out in the fields, but Elden couldn't say he had ever met an unkindly one. On several occasions the tiny demon had found himself in quite the sticky predicament while attempting to steal from neighboring villages.. Rats were often the ones to nibble through his shackles.
In short? They were just a misunderstood lot.
It for was this reason that he looked confused by the ghouls leaping and frightful cries. Then, as one of them fell, it was difficult for him to keep a snort from being expelled.
So very difficult.
Luckily an onslaught of newer, stranger beings approached, wiping the growing cheshire grin off of his blue-tinted face. Malkav, who had accompanied him over to the band of wild townies had grown suspiciously quiet, and Vero just as well.. that delectable looking giant of a bug. He couldn't exactly nestle in one place for too long, not when there were a million other things going on all around him. While he would have tried his best on rare occasions.. this just wasn't the time. The vampire could follow if he wanted, although again Elden assumed he might not. And Vero, well, the bug would be watched carefully from afar.
The glow of a boil nearer to the food court was of particular interest for the spriggan; always and forever lured in by anything flashy and eye-catchy. The bits that dangled from his outfit were probably his more exact targets, but the boil was a good enough reason to approach none the less. So again, in time with the music that played, Elden made his move elsewhere across the Maul in pursuit of the dragon and the ghoul with him, creeping to a stop once directly behind them.
Reaching a hand out to swipe at the odds and ends which made up Haze's attire.
