She rustled up his hair, "That's what heartbreak is, kid..when you follow the wrong path. That's normal." She smiled. She perked up, "We will eventually." She smiled, "I'll find mine..you'll find yours."

Elliot made a face. "I'm not a kid! I'm the same age as you!.... Heartbreak? What's that?" He gave her a baffled look. Then he smiled. "I'm not sure anyone would love a spoiled brat like me."

Ginger frowned, "Don't say that." She grumbled, wrapping her arms around him, "There's a girl out there for you, just like there's a boy out there for me." She smiled, pulling away.

Elliot looked away sadly. "You're just saying that to be nice. All the girls usually want to marry because of my wealth and looks. I want them to look at something different about me other than those two things .. "

Ginger smirked, "All girls?" She looked over at him, "Aren't you looking at one who refused you multiple times?" She shrugged, "I'm sure there's more like me out there..i think." Ginger reached over and grabbed his chin with her thumb and index finger, making him face her, "And do not tell me that I'm only telling you this to be nice." She smirked, pulling away and letting go of his face.

Ginger blushed, "I told you that 'cause I meant it." She rolled her eyes, glaring at him, "I'm not in love with you." She growled, turning back to the sea, "Like I said..there's a girl for you..and a boy for me. I'm not that girl, you're not that boy.." She grumbled, not looking back at him.

"Sure, sure," Elliot muttered under his breath. He said it softly in hopes that he could still joke around while not getting yelled at. "I'm not so sure if what you're saying is real or not. But since I don't have knowledge of love, I guess I'll believe you... Just this time. But if I find that your words are a scam, then when I do fall in love first, I won't tell you about it. I'll just keep it to myself."
