Blood for the Blood God The mad, blood thirsty Prince Castor resurfaces, this time using a distress call to draw people into a slaughter house full of dead Lieutenants, and boast of being the Bringer of War, "Born to Blood and Conquest". Hver and Kairatos attend together, and are horrified at what they find.

I need to know you're ok- Titan/Hver/Kairatos Blackbird-Bisch/Hver/Kairatos ?-Zircon/Hver/Kairatos: There are only a handful of agents Kairatos knows deeply enough to care about, but after Castor's trap, he's concerned for their safety.

Crash and Learn- SOLO (575 words)

There had been other nightmares, other nights, though many of those had only been enough to make him half wake, growl at the darkness, ruffle the fur of the nearest cat, and go back to sleep.
There was fear, and there was fear.
This was he latter.
The sunlight was dazzling, beautiful, and warm, and the roar of the crowd rumbled through his bones at a different, yet wonderful pitch, to the sleek bright red and white motorcycle that roared underneath him like a hungry creature, eating track like the fastest Oroborous ever.
It was... for that glorious moment, a wonderful dream.
And then it wasn't.
He saw him on the track, roaring up at high speed. White hair, black wings, dark armor.
Castor the Senshi of Hail struck down other racers ahead of him with merciless strikes of his hand, sending their bodies and their motorcycles end over end in bursts of fire and pain, and there was no stopping in time.
He saw the Senshi of Hail's face twist into a blood thirsty grin as he lashed out, and suddenly he and the bike were no longer one and the same, he was falling end over end as the motorcycle flew apart into shards and chunks of metal that tore into his leathers, and then he hit the track for the first time.
It knocked the wind from his lungs, ripped leather, cracked bones... it was cacophony of sensations, all of them terrible, and too many of them to keep track of. It was just agony stacked upon agony until there was little memory left of what it was like not to be in pain as he rolled to a stop on the track, the only clear thought left in his head one that flickered like a failing bulb through the pain.
Get up. Get away. Run.
Only he couldn't.
He could barely breathe. He tried to drag himself forward on the track but he couldn't seem to get the signals to the right parts of him. One arm was broken, the other ached, and....
He couldn't feel his legs. Everything else screamed in agony but behind that there was a terrible, terrible void. He couldn't feel his legs, and Castor was coming closer. Closer step by step and he couldn't escape.

He was covered in sweat when he woke, skin stuck to damp sheets as he sat up flailing, Jo and Thing bolting with squeaks and hissess of protest.
Castor was coming. Couldn't move. COULDN'T MOVE.
He was so caught up in terror that he flung himself violently sideways trying to get a response from his own legs, tumbling over the side of the bed with an startled yelp and a loud thud as he hit the floor shoulders first.
The ache helped wake him up, real and grounding like the cool floor boards. That was when he realized he'd been thrashing in his sleep so vigorously that his legs had gotten wrapped tightly in the straight sheet, paralyzing him from the waist down effectively. Feeding the nightmare.
The laugh crept out of him unbidden, exhausted and relieved as Thingie padded over, sniffed his ribs and climbed up calmly onto his stomach, untroubled by the bobbing motion of weak, hysterical laughter.
"Just a.... you stupid s**t..." He breathed, laying his head back down on the floor for a moment as he waited for his pulse to stop thundering in his ears.

Get up. Run. He's coming
The nightmares had not eased, not even slightly, though they'd changed from fragments of an apocalyptic future, if anything they'd become more clear, not... fragments and moments and hints of things.
He might have blamed it on the Mirror, but honestly he was pretty sure the only effect that Cassandra had so far was to be annoying ad angry, and make everyone get obnoxiously stuffy. He couldn't imagine even trying to keep a civil tone now, rubbing his eyes as he carefully disentangled himself and shooed away a concerned cat. He wasn't even getting much sleep in before the bad dreams hit, and they were harder to shake.
...No that wasn't it. it wasn't that he expected Castor to jump out of the pantry and hit him with a chunk of track or something... no that wasn't it. He was just...
It was just a general sense of something being faintly off. Like being in a room where there was one item not quite aligned and although you hadn't spotted it, you could almost feel that something with the symmetry was off. Only this was like the symmetry of everything.
But at the same time... he wasn't sure that it was worth trying to explain to anyone. He hadn't been sleeping well after all. It might just be in his head. It was probably just in his head.
The deaths were getting to him was all, that and his botched attempt to try and make sure that people like Titan and Bischophite were ok. That had really...
God he'd ******** that up too. Bischophite had probably gone right out and looked for Castor. What the hell had he been thinking? It had seemed at the time like it OUGHT to work, but then again maybe he was just no good at any of this.

Nope. ******** that.
Even if he'd screwed up, he'd been trying. If Bischophite or others got hurt, it was nothing to do with unpaid karmic debts. Castor had murdered more people in one night than he had in his entire career as an agent, and Castor had the ability to purify. Or he assumed he did.
"Hey Jo." The fluffy persian had returned, hopped up on the bed and settled down next to his foot, squinting at him in the low light of the bedroom in a suspicious glare, wondering apparently if he was going to start behaving strangely.
"You wanna go to the kitchen and make some coffee with me or something?"
He didn't figure he'd be sleeping any time soon anyway.
"Maybe there's something on."
Maybe Zia was up. Or was that a good thing? He still wasn't sure right now. There'd been a lot of hard feelings going around.
