Roxas stood outside of the store. The wind blew against his face that was slightly covered by his coat. The tall man had to yet again steal from the store just like before. Except this time it was going to be much more up front than last time. Or he could wait it out and find the perfect opportunity to act. Roxas would most certainly not go for the latter option. He was not into stealth, but he was also no into making a huge scene. Yet every time he tried to do something discreetly someone came and caused a ruckus. He read the slip of paper he was given to again. His calussed fingers tracing the letters. Memories of Kokoro teaching him how to read crawled their way back to the surface of his mind. "Do you know what Kokoro means, Roxas?" She asked him. He remembered what she said and what he said after. "You are my heart."
Roxas knew the owner wouldn't accept him back into the store. Luckily for him he wasn't too injured from the bear attack to keep him from performing basic maruton jutsu. He looked around at passer byers. Finding someone generic to transform into. Then it came to him like some vision from God. He wasn't stealing goods from the store. He was stealing a man's notebook. Kids were known to be...Thinking about kids made Roxas stop. Something had happened, but he couldn't really recall what. It had to do with kids, but. Just like that his focus came back and he remembered what he was doing. With a couple of hand signs the grown man would transform into a small child he had seen nearby. Rubbing his hands together to warm them he approached the store's front door and opened it.
The same ringing from last time. That nice little sound only those who worked in stores were blessed to hear every day. It was very quaint. Roxas made note to add one to his room in the cave hideout if he ever decided to actually do something with it. Walking around as a little child was very odd. The usually tall man had to see the world from a whole different angle now. It reminded him of the way he'd see the mines when he first started. "Focus." He mumbled to himself thinking back to the mission at hand. He had to find a man about his normal age, but slightly shorter. Walking around for a few he'd find the man at the other end of the store in a little office like area. The target had been spotted.
Roxas approached the man and looked up at him with his child like eyes. The man paid no mind to the boy and kept on writing. "What are you writing about, mister?" He asked in a child like voice. The man continued ignoring him. Roxas tried again and faired no result. Now Roxas was a patient man, but he had his limit. Now one could argue that his limit wasn't too big, but he would disagree. He would disagree just as he jumped up to snatch the journal. Now he had the man's attention. "HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" He shouted reaching for the child. Roxas was booking it out of the store by then. Back in his normal body, Roxas made it to the designated location under the docks. The briefcase was there. All Roxas had to do was leave the journal inside and leave. [[exit]]
Roxas did not hit women. That was a big no no. It was the most unatural thing in his mind to do! He wasn't a morally guided man either. It was just a very specific quirk of his. But at the same time he had a mission to complete! What the moral conundrum he was in! But the note did say he didn't have to actually hit her, but mostly harass and throw punches her way. He could do that. Roxas would make his way back to the Herbal Furs and confront his assignment. "Ah s**t" He cussed feeling a sharp pain coming from his left foot. One of the sailors must've gotten him with something. He wasn't the same ever since the damn bear got in his way. Why did he fight the bear actually?
"Here we go again." He mumbled in front of store. In the corner of his eye he could see a figure approaching him quickly. By every description given to him it was in fact the lady named 'Ari'. He sighed like usual before she began accusing him of this and that. "Your mother smells like old socks." Roxas stated blandly. Ari's eyes widened in both shock and confusion. "If she was my mother I'd be very upset and displeased as well." Roxas was not the best at insulting others. It had some sort of effect least. The woman would begin attack him. She threw a right hook to which he dodged. ( E rank formless Dodge) Followed by kick to the stomach. He dodged again feeling the weight on his foot increase due to the pain. (E rank formless Dodge) "I CAN'T DO THIS!" Roxas shouted before running/limping away from the woman. She watched him leave in even more confusion as before.

Sumika was literally a kid in a candyshop, or, well, a shop. So many different animals to choose from. Cats, large and small. Dogs of the same variety. Snakes and lizards. It was a menagerie of different animals and she waded in like it was her birthday, maybe because it was her birthday. One caught her eyes though, tucked away in a corner. A little black and white animal with a plush pen the size of its own body. "Hey there bud." She said, patting it on the head as she scooped it up and tickled its tummy, before rushing back to her chaperone. "This one!" She near shouted, holding the little animal out in Shiori's direction. "I want this one!" The little bear gave a yawn, and proceeded to continue gnawing on the plush it clung to.

Chie was surprised to end up here. She wanted to get back to the gates, but found herself a bit lost. However, as she was traveling, her eyes fell upon an albino shiba inu. His mouth was in a cruel muzzle as he whimpered through it. The shop owner said that he was a combat pet who failed ninja training. He was now too dangerous to be considered a standard pet. Chie felt awful for him. She asked how much he was, and when she found out that it would cost every last penny she had, she did think about it for a moment. However, the sad red eyes of the canine caused her to place the money on the table and complete the transaction. The muzzle came off and Chie carried her new dog. Kisuke arrived at the pets store as he liked to call it, he was looking for a specific animal and was hoping they would have it. When he walked in he started to take a look at what they had. He then saw the prices and his eyes went pretty wide. he noticed how expensive the strange combat animal would be much more than he expected. At that moment he did not have the money to purchase the one he wanted. He would have to return at a later point. For now he simply purchased two batches of pain murderers (1200 ryo) and 2 batches of the paralysis herb (3000) which became a grand total of (4200) spent. He thanked the pet store clerk for the items and left the store. He needed to head back to Konoha now and make money somehow. [exit]

Belamos entered the Pharmacy with Vivian, who had also begun to show signs of breathing problem. As he entered the pharmacy, his vision swam. He felt...exhausted. Like he wasn't getting enough air. With a pronounced wheeze, he spoke "Need...Medicine. Destroyed Angel." Was the totality of what he could croak out in between deep breaths. After the pharmacist calmed down, she managed to inject them both with something, he knew not what, and immediately the pair began to feel much better. Belamos left them with a sizeable tip to forget this happened and vanished back into the streets.

Katherine, feeling tired as hell, went into the petshop and looked for what she'd come for. Within a few moments, she had hailed a vendor, handed over 4k ryo, and left with her gourd on her back. She also bought dome medicine for the potential Angel infection. Medium antidote. -250 Bout Medium Hourglass Gourd. -4k ryo.
She put the gourd on her back, and started to fill it with ehr normal kikaichuu insects.

Entering the village, Takumi made his way to a medicinal shop. Upon entry his eyes lit up. " You've quite a selection here, shop-keep." He said, praising his wares. After several minutes of browsing, Takumi choose his wares. two doses of Toxic Powder and a doseage of the Zombification Drug. A sly smile crossed his lips as he passed his hard earned money over for such diabolical instruments. With supply in hand, he exited the shop.

It was weird knowing that there was actually a civil service in Sasagi, one that was typically treated as a neutral ground. Ayuna found himself with a day job, something he was intrinsically motivated for that wasn't bartending. He found himself in the room with several doctors much farther along in their careers often, allowed to take notes during his apprenticeship. On this day in paritcular, he was learning the ins and outs of diagnosis while cleaning tools. The first patient had come in complaining of a stomach ache that had come up on him after a heavy breakfast. He'd had fish alongside some grits and eggs with cheese, and now he was feeling exceptionally crummy. Ayuna managed to hold his tongue well enough, guessing the man was lactose intolerant and wasn't taking the pills that should be helping her. People were stupid that way. He took his time writing what was told to him by the diagnostistician in the room. He came to a different conclusion based on further information. The fish had likely not been in the best of condition itself. Food poisoning eh? Ayuna was even less impressed by the man's condition now, but moved on with the doctor obediently.[Diagnosis]
When the time came, he went to the back room where the tools and dirty scrubs were kept. He wore gloves and a mask because he knew that it was likely some of the stains were from bodily fluids and he was not here to be getting sick himself. THe first job was separating the laundry. Whites went with whites, lights with lights, darks with darks. It made for easy cleaning processes, as he started up three separate washers, tossing the clothes in before industrial cleaning powders. He truly hated cleaning after others, which was one thing on a long list of things that he hated. Still, these were necessary steps along the path to surgeon, where he could better learn how the human body worked. It would also be the way for him to learn how to tear the human body apart easier with pathogens and poisons. The washers were going, and so he moved to the dryers, opening them and pulling the dry clothing that had been there since yesterday. He went about folding them up in groupings based on size, usage, and color unlike the washing process. Much like with mixing his liquor, he was extremely meticulous in how he went about these things.
Next, he was back to diagnosis. The current patient was suffering from a fever. Her face had turned a bit red, and her throat was starting to swell up a little as well. She had a some pain in her nose, which was also blocked. The doctor took his stethoscope and press it into her back. The girl was asked to inhale, and naturally Ayuna was keen to see the girl struggle a little bit during the process. When she began to exhale, she coughed a little. On the front, the doctor checked again and the girl barely managed any better. She sniffled, and the doctor made a bit of a strained face, handing her a tissue before giving her the diagnosis. She had a headcold, nothing too special. She had a very short road to recovery on some antibiotics, bed rest, and drinks.
He took his leave from the doctor to perform more of the mundane duties. He was caught between hating his time studying at someone elses pace and hating his time doing chores. He was sterilizing tools, power scrubbing blood and caked on gore off of some things too big for cups of alcohol and then setting them to tumble in a large sink like structure. He moved to stop the tumbler and drain the sink, rinsing things off and dropping them in sanitizer afterwards. It was a short but tedious process, and he hated every second of it. It was so annoying having to clean this stuff. The doctor responsible for cutting into someone or putting a tool on someone's flaky skin should be the one to clean it off. It didn't sound like a lot to him, as his own parents did research at home. They didn't have assistants. No, they cleaned up after themselves. It didn't seem like an egregious thing, but it was one more thing for him to dislike. One more reason for him not to feel bad about tearing whole communities apart with drugs or poison, chem wars. He exhaled, his smile enver once leaving his face as he serenely and deftly cleaned off his tools.
The next patient was pale. Not like he didn't get enough sun, no. He was pale like he didn't have enough vitamins inside of his body. The man was also far too weak to be in good shape. He was sluggish in his movements, shivering even thought he room was warmer than it should have been. His breathing was even, he observed, but he was also exhausted. The answer to what was ailing him was clear. He had the flu, and hadn't been properly addressing it. He was given some medication to help him sleep, and sent on his way. Weird how people just denied themselves the right to be tired and sick these days.
Once more, he found himself cleaning off the tools of the trade, this time less washing and more disinfecting. He had a spray bottle full of bleach and a rag, spraying off the various things used to touch people. A stethoscope's earholes had to be cleaned, as did the bottom half. Anything touching skin could be a vector for disease, and had to be gone over. Alternatively, we could just kill everyone who got sick and burn their corpses. Would save a lot of effort, but that was neither her nor there. No, he was going to play along, nodding his head to and fro, humming a tune that the real Ayuna had liked singing. She used to make things as asinine as this a lot more bearable. He couldn't make it through the asinine trainings like these without her memory. She was his one true motivator, not helping people. He didn't care too much beyond self interest in seeing these tools cleaned. No, he was only in this because it would help further his goals.
The next patient who wandered in was a neanderthal of a man. Even though he was like 8 feet tall and two feet wide at least, he seemed to be out of sorts. He came in complaining of chest pain, and Ayuna wondered if it was a chore for him to breath. His breathing, actually, was fairly normal, until he inhaled for the loudest booming cough Ayuna had ever been present for. Respiratory infection? Perhaps bronchitis. That was the conclusion they came to and the manw as allowed to get a perscription and leave. That was more than simple enough. It was almost a waste of time.
The laundry needed his attention once more, and so he came in to handle it. He walked in, still with gloves and a mask as he had before. First thing first was to remove clothes from the dryer, put it into a hamper, and then walk it to the desk. He sat it down, and started sorting the clothing as he folded them. His arms weren't even close to tired by the halfway point. Socks had to match, same with the sizes of shirts and pants. Then they would be grouped together and put away afterwards. He turned to the now finished washer and set about taking the laundry out of it and transferring it to the corresponding dryers. He was diligent about making sure all the dials were set correctly before he actually went to turn on the dryers, timing them as close together as he could. Last, he would toss in the clothes that needed washing, and move on back to the doctor after washing his hands.
The next diagnosis was significantly less mundane, as all they had to go on was a fever and sore throat. First thing first was checking for lymph nodes (I'm not a doctor.) When there was no real bumps, and a minor cough, the doctor put his stethoscope on and touched her back. Belabored inhale, as if pain. The same from his chest. He took a wooden spoon thing and pushed down her tongue. Red as ********. Looks like she had strept throat, and a nasty case of it. Penicillin V-K and some pain medication.
The last bit of cleaning he intended to do for today more tools. Washing a hacksaw always made him antsy. Someone's bones had been taken apart with this. He could literally take someone's arm off with a hacksaw given some time, and slit a throat with it much faster. One clean hacksaw gave him the heebiejeebies. He would move on to a scalpel, giving it a once over after he had cleaned and sterilized it. He was seriously considering taking it with him, but he decided against it. A few hammers had been used for something, he supposed. Maybe smashing up some... legs? He didn't know he was just here to wash and sterilize. With his work done, Ayuna decided to go and do some research. He was already more or less well versed in how the human body worked, but he needed more practice and specialization. He wanted to be a surgeon, so first thing first was familiarizing with basic level biology, taking pen and paper to aid in studying. He was mostly browsing, through because, as was noted, this was a refresher course. He had spent all day talking about pathogens and cleaning them off of things, so there was no reason to continue to dawdle on them. As far as other basics went, he was more diligent in keeping track of the names of some portions of the human genome and things. He even looked over some basic psychology where it was concerned with treatment because he was going to make sure his initial foray was more ore less well rounded. Mostly, he just went to the chapter summaries and read over them to see what all he remembered. For the most part he remembered all of what was here. He'd had a rather well crafted education, after all. So onward he went towards learning about the circulatory system, and how poisons tended to affect it. So, to begin with, he refamiliarized himself with more basics. He drew a scale model of the human body, not realizing initially that he had drawn Hikari's frame and filled it in with as much vein and artery work as his fingers could. He drew her heart in, coloring it a light pink like her and the Ingrate's hair, and labeled everything properly. So turned out foreign entities tended to move quickly when injected into the bloodstream. The highway inside of everyone was a very effective delivery method for neutrients, and he drew in the kidneys and liver, marking them as place that were used to clean out blood, filtering everything from waste to bacteria to be excreted. He made small, coded notes to think of ways to cause total shut down of these organs in order to facilitate quick deaths, but also to make use of them when testing his poisons. The ability of the cleaning organs to filter his poisons would assuredly be a factor in testing and actual delivery. Further, these organs had other functions that an aspirant surgeon needed to be aware of if he planned on saving any lives as well. Where could someone's vein be cut off to restrict flow to an open wound? How could he determine someone's likelihood to survive depending on where they were bleeding from? All relevant questions to both a surgeon and assassin. There were some other things to note as well, like that the brain was intricately involved in making sure blood flowed properly. He made note of special arteries and veins, and the lymphs as well in his drawn model, and decided he could refer back to these notes at any time. Up next, his studying took him to the digestive system. Now, the interesting thing about the digestive system was that it was intricately tied in one of the less delicate versions of poison delivery. Toshio did not like the idea of having to cook for people, or drug their alcohol. It felt pointedly indelicate, inelegant. He would rather bodyslam somebody and then shove a needle into their aorta. But, that notwithstanding, it was a safe way to go about it if he could do it correctly. He drew himself and all the relavent pieces of the digestive system. The stomach was another location that was good for filtering out poisons and disease. He narrowed his eyes, thinking about ways to induce dysentery while he studied. The mouth was a place that was harder to infect people through than Toshio assumed most people were aware. The body was actually extremely good at keeping itself healthy, and it took significant effort to shake that. This was great for Ayuna's goal of being a surgeon, and rough for Toshio's want to be an assassin. But there was little difficult about the digestive system for a general surgeon, and so he moved on to the skeletal system. Hiroki filled this page, and Toshio meticulously labeled every single one of the bones, using lines where applicable to show which was which. It was extremely important that every bone be in proper place. The skull had to protect the brain, and the torso had nothing BUT bones important for protecting the body. The ribs protect the lungs fairly well. There was a lot of cartilage connecting to the sternum, which protected the heart. Sudden impacts there were often extremely dangerous, and a broken sternum, clavicle, or collar bone tended to be rough trying to fix. Same with ribs. Speaking of broken bones and fixing them, a lot of white blood cell production came from the inside of bones, so if he wanted to cripple an immune system that would often be a good place to start. Furthermore, a lot of disorders actually affected bone and joint development which made them brittle. He would keep an eye out for samples of any kind of pathogens that could perhaps cause rapid deterioration, or rapid regrowth. Hiroki would likely hella benefit from that kind of knowledge specifically. Nearly two hours into his essential relearning of his whole courseload, he was on to the immune system itself. Now, the immune system was something that had a lot of things attached to it. To begin with, skin was a huge part of the immune system, in addition to the largest organ on the body. Everything was held in the body via the skin, and it served as a surface barrier between the body and the outside world. The hair was another of those barriers much for the same reason. The mouth, specifically the saliva glands, were another part. Saliva was capable of breaking down less resistant disease bearing pathogens as well. That was a solid lead in to the stomach, which he had already covered twice now. It did it's part in stopping pathogens the same way saliva did with stomach acid. Of course, plenty of things tended to still make their way from the stomach into the rest of the body through the blood, and start infecting the body. At that point, the rest of the A team came out. T cells and B cells played functions that he didn't need to know extremely intimately. He just knew that they were capable of killing hostile entities and causing infected entities to kill themselves and take their infections with them. For some of the poisons he had designed himself, he was already well versed in their usage, like alcohol which suppressed both the immune and nervous systems. His final research topic was the nervous system, and he had a pretty intimate knowledge of it from studying to save Ayuna proper. He sighed as he looked over the various things that he was already familiar with. The brain was the center of all, and oh so delicate. Shake someone's head too hard, no matter how old, and they never recover. Small bruises and contusions could utterly ruin someone, and a slow, hard to detect bleed or... cancerous cell can cause total body shut down. Between synapses and axxons, neurotransmitters and signals, Kay was all but a master of this already. Still, he drew Ayuna as best he could from memory, finding he could get the perfect way her fingers always curled at her sides, or the beautiful shape of her head down properly. At least he could fill in her nervous system correctly. He marked the pieces that were sympathetic, and which ones weren't. Made melancholy notes about poisons that could slow brain function similar to alcohol, and how without ninja magic it was impossible to fix a lot of brain and spinal injuries. He wished beyond a wish that someone in his life had been able to- no he wished he could have been a better doctor back home. Instead, he did research like a good student, looked over case studies in the books here. A lot of what he was interested in doing now had to do with saving the unsavable. It was all apart of the growing issue he had with inadequacy, and his want to prove his superiority. It also tied loosely in his desire to watch the world that stole from him burn. First step was being a renowned doctor. Maybe he could, in his less benevolent ventures, become a cartel boss. All of this was besides the point, as he was knee deep in reading about people who had rare diseases cured finally, of strange outcomes of injuries that were beyond the scope of medicine. Before he knew it, he was about ready to pass out in the back of the clinic/pharmacy, but he had one last bit of research, and that was on the use of medical kits. This refresher course was entirely simpler. Of all the things one found in a field medical kit most of it was easy to use. There was a tool for opening people's airways, which was a bit difficult to just do. It was used for unconscious people who weren't breathing when chest compression couldn't do it. Naturally, there was pain medication. He smirked, wondering how strong it was for nefarious reasons. Turns out, it was just tylenol. Either way, he had something to numb out the pain associated with minor injuries at least. Guaze and medical tape was present, and that was good because it could stop bleeding. Most of the rest was stuff to aid with that as well, like band aids or a kit for stitching a wound in the field. Antidote kits worked similarly. Once a poison had been identified, he would be tasked with administering the antivenom or antivirals or whatever. Proper dosages for whatever the dose level the victim was suffering from was what the training here entailed. By the time he was done with that, he was ready to just about literally die, so he clsoed the book, shook his head out, and went to go do anything else. [Research x10 done here. Skill: Manipulation Rank: B :: Training Description: Manipulating the bow itself is simple, but controlling the arrows is very difficult. Many enhancements can be made to arrows to give them different flight paths, but buying those kinds of arrows is expensive and making them is difficult, so a method was developed wherein the user can freely alter how an arrow flies without need for such trifles. During this training, the user practices firing arrows with abnormal hand positions. Skill: Adaptability Rank: A :: Training Description: For the most part, the style thus far has focused on techniques to be used while stationary. However, this leads to many problems when fighting alone in situations that demand frequent movement. During this training exercise, the practitioner is to practice all known techniques while running, jumping, and maneuvering across a battlefield. After mastery, the user can align shots even while running and jumping, allowing them to keep the bonuses of the last stance they entered even while moving.
