"That meditative state you entered was rather impressive," observed Tensai as they navigated a maze of bodies. He took his seat beside his companion and, as usual, ordered a combination of salad and beef. As a frequent visitor to the grill, most of the workers were familiar with the Ushio's complicated formula of ingredients often delivered during their earliest visitors. In some cases they were seen with contempt but the chefs appreciated their initiative and creativity. Tensai was no different.

"Couldn't expect that to go unnoticed. I wasn't really meditating... I was remembering. It seems that a older women, seemingly my grandmother by what I remember of her face. Laughing a bit at Tensa question Shin said
Ask the guy with amnesia questions, that should work. Smiling as he continued I woke in ally close to the dojo, and wandered to the river stayed there for a couple of weeks helping a man who can't cook tend his field. "Hmmm...Well you said that you remember training in Taijutsu but Master Daichi said the style was kept a secret. Your definetly trained as an Otogakure-ninja...If you can remember your 'grandmothers' face mabye we can inquire about her presence in the village. If you woke up in Kariko, you must've had some reason for being,"
The story was interesting, an amnesiac familiar with the ways of an Oto-ninja. Perplexed Tensai ordered a glass of water while he mused over the case.

"It is odd situation, and I wish I remembered everything, but there is a women using her connections with the villages to look into my past. Hopefully she will be able to give me some answers. Either way I am sure with time that I will find out everything I need to know, no need dwelling on it before then. So what do you do? I mean aside from watching a bald man knock me across a court yard. "Hmm I see. Well we'll see how the events unfold then," chuckled the Ushio while accepting his glass of water from the bartender. He nodded his thanks and took a few large gulps from the glass, much to the relief of his parched throat.
"My mother is a high-ranking official in the Rice Country, so I am exspected to learn from her as often as possible. As a result, I suppose im something of an aspiring diplomat through its not a profession I would life to pursue. I spend most of my time training to be a traditional shinobi. Lately that means learning archery and furtherig my skills in espionage."

The quiet voice of the bar's waitress came along with a light knocking on Yasashii's door, rousing him from his sleep. Rolling over and into a sitting position, the man yawned, blinking at the girl in question. "Hm? Alright, thank you. I'll be out soon." he responded, to which the girl nodded, and quickly closed the door, hurrying back to the bar. When next she passed by the boy's table, she stopped for a second, letting him know that Yasashii would be out soon, and moving on. Back in his room, Yasashii had gotten out of bed and was getting dressed and ready to come out, when the figure that had left the bar earlier, the academy teacher, slipped in through the window. Stopping, the partially awake man looked at the cloaked one in surprise. "You're back already?" he queried, to which the man nodded, pulling down his mask, finally showing his face, and the fact that he too was Yasashii. "The lesson went quickly, and Daichi took them for taijutsu training." The half clothed Yasashii flinched slightly at that, having seen quite enough of Daichi's students after a first session to know they wouldn't be ready for continued training for at least a little while. "Right, well, someone is looking for us in the bar." the recently awoken Yasashii said, resuming his dressing. The other nodded, and with one last sentence, suddenly shattered into countless silver shards, which subsequently shattered again, and again, until there was absolutely nothing left of him. "He's remembering." The remaining Yasashii blinked for a moment in surprise, but continued his dressing, finishing quickly and leaving the room, headed for the bar. Entering the bar, he stood by the counter for a few seconds before the waitress spotted him and pointed at Shin, to which Yasashii nodded, and with the grace only one who had years of experience working a crowded bar could have, weaved his way through the crowd and to the boy's table, sliding into an empty seat. Shin lisened to what Tensa said intently glad for the switch in attention.
Huh, that seems like it could get rough sometimes. Shin voice still didn't have the honey sweet tone it normally does but there was still a hint of compassion there. Just as Shin finished speaking the waitress came to their section of the bar and told them Yasa would be out soon, just as she left another waitress brought Tensa and Shin there food. The smell of Shin chicken was to die for, and the sight of his green beans mmm, vivid green with little crisp section of light brown. Just before the waiter left Shin thanked them gratefully and asked for a VERY large class of sweetened ice tea. Turning back to his plate Shin was just about to dig in when Yasa joined them. A look of despair fell over Shins face the man sat down and asked which of them summoned him. Letting out a bit of air Shin said "Me... I was wondering if there was any work here I could do? When I am not other wise engaged of course I would like to spend my time here doing chores or whatever else might come up to earn some more money. After all it seems like I am on my own for the time being. As Shin spoke he kept looking down at his plate waiting for Yasa to answer him and he can stop acting proper and dig into his food like a crazed animal. ~||"True Power is wielded by those who are never seen."||~ ~||Chakra:7/18 ||~

"You look like you could use food and rest a lot more than a job right now." he said, gesturing to the boy's plate as if to signal him to carry on, since it was fairly obvious he was balancing himself between etiquette and hunger. Waving down a waitress on her way by, Yasashii said just one word. "Breakfast." To which the girl nodded and immediately left, since Yasashii always had the same thing for breakfast. Turning back to the two boys, Yasashii nodded. "But, yeah. I can find something for you to do around here. Or you could even just hire on as a part time chore boy, and just do what needs to be done. But I have to ask, what happened to get you in that state?" the man queried, looking curiously at the two boys. Both looked as if they'd gone through a grinder of sorts. ~ [Chakra: 146/146]

Shin starting tearing his food apart as soon as Yasa gestured toward it, taking large bits of his chicken while also trying to fit some green beans and rice in to his mouth. Just as the waiter brought him his tea Shin didn't even give him time to put it on the table before he grabbed it and chugged half if it quickly. Then just as fast as he took the drink he went right back to eating, mouth full after mouth full. By the time Yasa was done asking his second question Shin was finished eating and the bulge in his stomach was proof enough he was full.
Picking up the last half of his tea Shin said
" Training, you know the monk Daichi right? Ya well he is evil, smart, and a good teacher but evil none the less." chuckling a bit as he said this Shin drank the second half of his large glass of tea and let out a long sigh "That was goooooood... and thanks chore boy sounds right up my ally seeing as I don't really know how to do much else."~||"True Power is wielded by those who are never seen."||~ ~||Chakra:7/18 ||~

He believes in the power of pain. Fall out of a tree once, you'll know better than to walk on a broken branch." Just then, the man's breakfast arrived, a simple plate of fried eggs and toast, and a glass of orange juice. "So, how did you two end up in the tender care of Master Daichi?" he queried, smirking slightly at the joke. Picking up his fork as he waited for an answer, the man began to eat. The normal way. In the middle of your conversation, one of the waitresses of the Bar and Grill emerged from the back room of the bar, holding what would appear to be something like an order ticket as she casually handed it to Yasa without saying a word and then returned to the back room to resume her duties.
Unfolding the slip, only the following was written:

An instant later, he was on his feet. "I'm sorry, I have to go take care of something. If you need anything, you can just ask Brutus." he apologized, giving the two boys a small bow. Grabbing his glass of juice, he hurried off, drinking it as he went, and setting it on the bar as he passed into the back of the bar. In the back, he headed back to his room, and in there, quickly changed his clothes, procuring his ninja getup from a well hidden panel and returning his normal clothes to his dresser. With that done, he slipped on his mask, and vanished out the window, headed up the mountain. [Exit] ~ [Chakra: 146/146]

Tensai ate his meal in silence and far less enthusiastically than his companion. In the end he was just as satisfied but far less full. A napkin brushed off invisble debri from his lips before being folded and placed onto his empty bowl, beneath the parallel chopsticks. He nodded in thanks to the waitress and turned in time to see the bartender excuse himself from the table and enter a room at the back of the bar.
"I wonder what was so urgent," voiced the Ushio, examining the door with casual scrutiny. It was the same door the bartender emerged from, shortly after their arrival. As far as he knew there was no backdoor to emerge in the streets of Kariko and the room couldn't be much larger than a small classroom. The exchange between the Yasashii and the waitress wasn't exactly unusual, the note may have been something of personal relevance to the bartender. That could explain the sense of urgency observed in Yasashii's brisk movements. So what was in the back room that prompted the sudden change in demeanor?
"What do you think is in that room?" subtly pointing to the location in question with a single look.
