Giyari On a different note, has anyone in here ever thought about less traditional writing? you know you get stories and poems, but what about scripts or lyrics? I write poetry/lyrics as well as scripts. Script Frenzy is probably to blame for the latter and is another of my yearly haunts. I'm currently experimenting with turning my short stories into on-line radio plays.

Hey, I'm Rae. I mostly write fantasy, though in saying that I'm apt to give people the wrong idea. My current project's only real fantasy aspect is magic--no weird races, no magical creatures, no interfering gods.
I don't tend to be very active in discussing writing stuff, so I can't guarantee I'll be the life of the party--hell, just look at my own writer's guild, the CAA. But I'll make a concerted effort to be interesting and post every now and then.
I'm not great at roleplaying, have never really tried my hand at scripts, and feel very little drive to write poetry that isn't for a creative writing class.

The CAA... looks pretty damn cool. I don't think I'm sadistic enough, though. I just like to give my characters really nasty endings.

So. I'm Alec - or .Far in Gaia - and I am following the invite to here. I really don't do much talking, just a lot of lurking but it's due to my coming to Gaia at the end of a work day than anything.
I do a lot of writing, although I only acknowledge the fanfiction since my other stuff is a bit blerg. I also do a lot of role playing and I've been told I do a fair job at it. I also will talk on and on about music, but again I have a limited attention span and - oh shiny!
Oh yeah. I'm doorknobofakender for NaNo and this will be my Iforgethowmanyyears attempt. I won for the first time last year, although that was a fanfiction.

HAHA! So far I've abused quite a few characters actually XD Mostly physical, some almost psychotic ******** torture too (^_^)
And that's a shame about the lack of lyrical writers XD though I myself have only attempted it once, and it was pretty horrible xD

Hey guys, I'm Talon or TSD, as Degen dubbed me several eons ago... Anyway, thanks for the invite, Eylios.
I came up with an idea for a story nearly six years ago, but haven't written much since... I hope to change that while I'm here. :] I'm also really interested in seeing what others have to write.
I'm also an avid roleplayer, though I've been slowing down a bit because of school/work.

Hello, and thank you for inviting me to join this guild! I've been looking for a place such as this for a while, and it was such a nice surprise to see the invite waiting for me in my inbox.
I'm Hugs, an amateur writer. I focus mostly on Urban Fantasy/ Fantasy stories and poems. I don't have any projects currently in the works, but I'm planning on joining NaNoWriMo. Again, thanks for the invite, and I look forward to participating!

So hello! I'm Ari and I'm generally a positive and cheerful person, but can be the exact opposite of that at times ^^"
I'm very much in love right now, so he will probably be the main purpose of most things I write x3 I like to mess around and be random, so sometimes I come across as stupid. But I'm really not, even though I'm not a total genius or anything as well.
And lastly I write much differently than I talk, but sometimes it comes out in my speech.

Wow, thanks for the invite, it was totally unexpected.
I'm Mortok (duh), and I've posted on and off in the Writer's forum in my time on Gaia, usually with breaks of several months in-between. I'm currently pursuing a BA in Creative Writing, this semester my classes mainly focus on screenwriting (lots of group work in there, which is both good and bad) and writing for younger audiences (fun, but tough, I have to churn out a piece every week.)
The genres I typically work in are high fantasy, urban fantasy and various sub-generes of science fiction. I'd quite like to try my hand at a classic Agatha Christie-style murder mystery, but all my attempts have kinda failed.
I mostly write prose (mainly short stories for assignments), but I'll do anything except print journalism.
Since a lot of my homework pieces will naturally be creative works, you'll probably see some stuff from me before too long.

That sounds really cool, Mortok. I like to write poetry, short stories, and I also have some book ideas. It may take a while to finish all of the ideas in my head, but I am going to always try.
