"Well, that bit over there is slightly higher than the rest of it, so we could dive from there. We won't be able to do anything that a professional would, but we would be able to get a couple of seconds to do something crazy before we landed in the water."

Miyoshi takes off in a run towards the higher area, and leaps off, turning around backwards, with her feet towards the water, diving in.

Jon started laughing as Miyoshi landed in the water.
"Good dive. I think Jack should go next. That is, if you think you'll stand a chance against us, Jack." Jon stuck his tongue out and smiled at the same time as he said this, the contest starting to bring out his childish side already.

"Well...I don't think I will, but what the hey..." said Jack, standing and walking over to where Miyoshi had dived from. Then he took a running jump, spinning in a ball and then popping open and slipping into the water feet first.

Jon stood three feet away from the place he had designated and took a run up. However, he did not see a fallen branch on the ground near the edge. As he went to jump, he caught his foot, span forwards in the air and landed on the water with a belly flop.
