Yamatano stood there, confused. "Umm, Lord Mizukage-sama, why did you send him with a clone?" he asked.

Luo's eyes widened a bit as he talked to Koteh, scribbling on a piece of paper. "You know, now that I realize it, there are academy level medical jutsu. After You learn the water jutsu they've learned, head to the hospital and give them this note. You'll learn all the academy level medical jutsu there. When you're done with that, look for me either here or at my office, and I'll test you to be a genin. Usually I'd force you to learn a taijutsu style as well as at least one genjutsu, but since the list of medical jutsu at your level is longer than those two combined, I'll allow you to pass with that alone." Luo then smiled at Yamatano. "He needs a little extra help learning one of the water jutsu, so I figured I'd give him a one on one. It's not your fault you're better at learning than him," Luo said with a smile. He knew that Yamatano liked to play pranks. Luo however, liked to play them back.
Luo's clone grinned at Kai. "I see he's been giving you trouble," the clone said as his head pointed towards Yamatano. This jutsu is the exploding kunai technique. It causes any weapon the person you cast it own to seem to explode. It's a village genjutsu that's caused its fair share of pranks. By focusing on the opponent's sense of touch and sight, you can force their mind to be tricked by it. Try it on me."
Bakuretsu Kunai (Exploding Kunai)
Whenever the target touches a weapon it seemingly explodes. Even if it’s there own.

Yamatano felt himself grin and swell with pride. "Well, I suppose its only natural for a genius such as myself to learn these things more quickly." He said, blissfully unaware of the "tutoring" kaizen was receiving.

Luo chuckled at the unsuspecting boy. He found himself laughing in this newer position of his. Perhaps he didn't need to be quite so serious with the students, after all they weren't enemies of any sort, and he considered them part of the family of Kiri. His hand hovered above Yamatano's head for a moment, before it quickly shot back to his side. "Maybe next time kid," Luo thought to himself. "Well Yama, what's left from the water jutsu that you have yet to learn? Have you guys covered the water mirror technique?"

Kai nodded at Luo, a devious expression on his face as he rubbed his hands together. Focusing, Kai closed his eyes and ran through the hand-seals, slowly at first and then picking up speed. He imagined the feel of an explosion, the heat of the blast, able to cause severe burns. The force of the blast, able to knock you back several feet. The feel of the shrapnel as the metal was shredded into pieces. Piecing it all together in his mind he envisioned Luo standing there with his sword and then all of a sudden the blade exploded, almost destroying Luo's hand.
Once he thought he had the image he wanted in his head he quickly performed the hand-seals and opened his eyes to look at Luo as he said calmly, "Bakuretsu Kunai" He watched and waited to see if he had been successful, it wouldn't take long for him to find out."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Yamatano thought for a minute, closing his eyes and putting his finger on his chin to look like he was really thinking hard, until he replyed, "Well, I've never heard of it, so im gonna say no, we havent learned it."

Unsheathing his sword, Luo's clone looked at it for a moment. For a second, it glowed hot red, but then the effect dissipated. "Put more focus into it, and regulate the flow of your chakra waves when you do it. Try again."

Luo nodded at Yamatano. "Hm, okay then. When when Kai is done we'll start on it. I meant to ask, is LT teaching you guys well? Any comments or complaints you'd like to file before he wakes up?" Luo was by this time realizing he'd forgotten to give LT his review for teaching and was trying to get feedback.

"Well hes a good teacher, He taught us all the water jutsu we know, but..." Yamatano began. "He wont...give me.....A MASK!" he cried out.

Luo nodded before shrugging. "As long as he's doing his job correctly. And sorry, you only get a mask once you're either an ANBU, or a chuunin level hunter-nin. Stick with the style and you'll earn a mask soon enough. I never knew what it was Hatake's loved about masks."

Kai nodded quickly, then focused once more on the feel of an explosion, until he could almost feel the intense heat of the blast, the pain as shrapnel ripped through his flesh. Quickly performing the hand-seals, Kai molded the chakra for the jutsu, then cried out, "Bakuretsu Kunai!" He let the chakra burst in waves as he looked into his Luo's eyes, trying to force chakra from Kai's eyes to Luo's so that Luo would see what Kai wished him to see. [Bakuretsu Kunai learned] "I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me" (i'm never really sure how I'm supposed to describe how I learn a genjutsu, it's not like with ninjutsu where you can break it down relatively easily)

"What?!? Not even a Hatake face mask? But too many people will have seen my face by then!" Yamatano complained. "Oh that reminds me I need a genjutsu that makes peole forget what your face looks like."

Fordon walked lazily down the beach dragging a stick in the sand. he was looking for LT. when he saw the group of people gathered in one location he walked in that direction. he thought the one in the center would be LT but he was pleasantly surprised it was Lord Luo-sama "OH! my Lord good morning i did not expect you to find you here. well i did find out a few things but they can wait till you are not so occupied." he said with a smile though his mask was still present.

"Calm down, the only people who will have seen your face are people you're helping, killing, or facing in the chuunin exams. Besides, with the mask on it's not like they'll recognize the face under it. You can learn the memory wipe technique at chuunin level anyway. Other than that, apart from the transformation jutsu there isn't one available for you to use that does what you want." Seeing Fordon, Luo waived politely as he came near, nodding at what he had to say. "Alright then. After this last jutsu to teach, we'll head to my office and we can talk then."
Luo's clone seemed to jump in surprise as his sword exploded, quickly throwing it on the ground before the explosion he thought existed harmed him. Forming the kai symbol, the clone nodded. "Good job. It's important to process your brain waves into chakra waves that emit from your body, and transmit into the opponents neural center to create the desired effect. That's generally how all genjutsu work. A complicated thing to do, but it works." With that, the clone picked the sword up, stabbing itself as it burst into water.
(Yeah, genjutsu is an odd thing to explain, but I think this is how I heard it explained once.)

"But Hatakes are supposed to be super-secret! Look at LT-sensei! and Fordon Sempai! and the Legendary Kakashi Hatake! none of them ever take off their masks!" Yamatano said.
