Aloe had been in a world of her own when she created her orb of spiritual energy, letting nothing beyond bother her. When Kaede spoke to her however, she came back to noticing the world around her. The slight change in focus made the orb she had created shrink a little, but she managed to keep it from disappearing completely.
"Ah. Yes, Miss Yui. I'll try." She replied and returned her focus to controlling the orb. This time she didn't shut herself off from the world though, but since she had already found her spiritual energy, she didn't need to anyway. Still, her attention was focused as such that she only took notice of Kaede and Niku at the time. Keeping her grip gentle and unchanged, Aloe willed her energy to flow to the orb. It's size increased, but not by any drastic amount. It expanded by an inch or two at most from the originally small size.

Looking around Morino Yukiko saw a male student already beginning to get control of creating the orb. Aloe, too, had gotten a hold on the ball of reishi particles. Frowning, Yuki wanted to begin the lesson as well, but her being tardy caused her to miss the explanation. "I wonder... Could anyone help me?" Yuki asked herself while opening and closing her hands, her palms facing towards her as she imagined a orb like the others in her palms. "How did they do that??" Yuki bit her lip as she contemplated on different methods of a sphere of reishi forming in her palm.

Caeles wandered towards the Kido lesson, figuring that since everyone's spiritual energy was different, he might be able to observe something interesting. With his long hair billowing behind him as he walked, the Head Researcher absently twirled his umbrella around with his left hand as he entered the roofed training area. Staying at the edge of the roofed area, Caeles watched with dark rimmed eyes as one of the students enlarged an orb of spiritual energy. Nodding slightly to himself, the pale shinigami shifted slightly and lent back against one of the posts holding up the roof.

Niku smiled and walked up beside Yukiko "If you missed the instruction, one of the teachers can always explain again if you'd like" she offered, noting the girl's shaky energy "Repeating myself is preferable to a student hurting themselves" she smiled.
"Looking within yourself is close to concentrating. Find that small bit of light and hold onto it. Coax it into growing larger until it's big enough to mold. remember to grasp it gently"

Gasping in surprise because someone had noticed her, Yuki flushed red. "Thank... you, sensei," The young shinigami student managed to choke out. "Something inside?" This explanation made her think, and remind her of a voice she had heard a few weeks before joining the academy. Following her discovery of the voice, was that she grew hungry, common symptoms where a soul's spiritual pressure grow. Yuki then remembered she was still in class. "Sorry, I just... remembered a voice I hear sometimes..." Yuki hadn't a clue as to what the voice signified, but the other graduates and shinigami would probaably tell her it was her soul for her zanpakto-.

Ryan didn't really care that he went unnoticed. He was more interested in the ball of energy he seemed to be manipulating somehow. That shell remnant we had from the Great War...the shell was much bigger than this. I wonder... Without explanation as Ryan thought about the shell remnant his grandfather had brought home from the war in Europe and how big the shell likely was, that little bullet of energy became as large as the shell. How much is contained in here? What sort of power would it have if it exploded right here? No...the question is, how powerful am I? How powerful can I make it...and to what uses I can put it...
Ryan then thought aloud, his voice emotionless and almost mechanical. "This alone would be useless, wouldn't it...an explosion at this range would only be good if you were like those Japanese suicide pilots. Obviously harnessing it is another issue, something..." ...they're going to teach us, Ryan finished in his head before shrinking the ball of reiatsu - forcibly, by compressing it with focus, letting thought slide away once more.

Kaede watched the students master their reiryoku one by one, and a warm cosy feeling spread inside her; as she had dedicated her life to teaching, there was nothing more valuable to her than watching the students' successes. "Most excellent, Tsuwamono-san. It seems you have achieved the object of this class perfectly." She turned around, and diverted the focus of her attention to other students, all struggling to achieve the same. "Good work, Feldric-kun. You have an interesting type of energy, I see. I hope you use it for good." She wondered what was his previous life like, given the shape and temper of his reiryoku, but didn't want to inquire.
Instead, she checked the two students that arrived just now, and answered one of them. "Takanashi-san, I would appreciate it if you didn't call me by my first name. That privilige is reserved to a narrow circle of important persons." Her voice was as cold as ice, for being called Kaede by students was something she considered highly inappropriate. "Does your late arrival denote that you have already mastered the technique of manifesting your reiryoku in a spherical form?" She didn't wait for an answer, but gave out instructions instead. "Search inside you, concentrate on the source of spiritual energy within, and -gently!- grip the current, directing it into your hand, forming an energy sphere hovering above your palm."
((Aloe Tsuwamono/Nuu-Kley-Ah and Ryan Stephen Feldric/Lord Setar have finished the class. The time's actually out, but I'd appreciate if others could finish the class this weekend as well, so that we don't have to repeat this in the before-examinations week.))

The young boy heard the advice of the teacher. He then closed his eyes and began to concentrate. There, he was in his own world, a very cool world that could be felt in his body. He continued with his eyes closed and a ball began to form. He opened his eyes and saw the sphere. He saw this in his own world. After awhile he compressed it into a little ball and opened his eyes to see how he had done on the outside. He opened his eyes and gave a smile.
Trace smiled at his success. The ball was there, blue, small, and round. He then noticed that it was making his hands very cold. He then slowly began to make the ball disappear. It was very cold, he was feeling the breeze only in his hand. The ball ball then vanished. His hand began to warm up.

Inside of her. She needed to search inside of her. That's where the voice would be. That soft, soothing, voice. Taking a deep breath, Yuki shut her eyes, trying to get into a meditative state. Blocking out the rest of the world. "Young child, so your finally learning to control your reiatsu," A voice echoed throughout her skull. 'Who are you?' "I'm ______, so your trying to become a shinigami I see, your getting closer..." The young ladies voice echoed and she let out a chuckled which resonated through my mind. 'I'm sorry I didn't hear you,' "In due time child, in due time... For now, you must follow my voice, I'll help you control you reiatsu," 'Okay...' Yuki murmured, hesitant at first but followed the voice in her mind. She could hear a familiar sound of taiko drums, beating, gradually getting faster and faster as she neared the voice. A bright light flashed before her. in reaction to this, Yuki shut her eeyes tight, and through her eyelids she was able to tell when the light dimmed down.
Once it did, the young academy student opened her eyes and found herself in a meadow, the soft drums beated lightly. Small trails of water, much like creeks but smaller, ran throughtout the meadow. In the middle was a large flower, a beautiful purple one. Yuki, out of curiousity rushed to it and cupped the head of the flower in her hands. Shutting her eyes, she let out a soft smile, and the flower's aroma wafted around her nose. Through her eyelids she saw the deep purple glow.
Once she opened them, she found herself back at the training grounds and the drums had stopped. The flower was gone, but in place was a amethyst colored ball of light. Small little orbs strayed away from it and then back to it, like they were dancing around it. Meaning, it wasn't fully stable, and she'd need to work at it. Yuki hummed softly to herself to a tune that went well with the beat of the drums she had heard earlier in her head. This helped her concentrate.
Soon the ball of reishi particles was nice and smooth all around. Gradually, she compressed the energy into a smaller ball, roughly the size of a tennis ball. Her humming faded out, and she noticed the orb of amethyst colored reishi. A smile lightened her face. "I... I did... it," She chuckled lightly. Turning to Niku she asked, "What... do... I do with it now??"

The ivory clad woman smiled at the young student. If all the students learned all their classes as fast as the ones here today, there would be no shortage of fully-fledged Shinigami to serve the Soul Society.
"All that is left is to do as the others did. Try to let the ball fade away slowly as if it were water slowly trickling through your cupped hands; you've already passed the class, so likewise you can just let it wink out if you so wish." she suggested "Try treating it as if you were holding a lungful of air and must slowly let it out"
She took a breath and held it for emphasis.

"Oh... Okay," Yuki nodded. She looked back down to the purple orb and to her stainless steel ring with the small amethyst strip in it, they were the same color. "Okay... Slowly fade away, like.... breath...ing" She said slowly, as the orb grew in size a bit to a bowling ball size. Then, it gradually grew smaller and into the shape of a palm sized leaf. It flew off her palm as if she had blown it away and slowly began falling to the ground as if it were a real leaf. Just before it landed it puffed into a cloud of her purple reishi and then faded out. Yuki's eyes widened, in surprise... For she hadn't planned for that to happen.

Caeles tilted his head to the side as the orb turned into a leaf and floated away, he hadn't seen anything like that before. Pulling out his notebook, the head researcher made some notes about it, pausing for a moment before deciding to jot down a sentence on the odd shape of another student's 'orb'. It seemed like visiting this class was a good idea, there would be a lot more to investigate from this class, as everyone's spiritual energy was different he might get a chance to see something truly unique.
Brushing some hair out of his eyes, Caeles wandered over to the location where the leaf had floated to before vanishing, looking for any clues to why it might have done what it did. Looking at the grass where the spiritual leaf had vanished, the pale shinigami gripped his umbrella and removed the sword blade from within it. Using his thin zanpakuto, Caeles cut out a chunk of grass from where the strange leaf had landed, placing the removed earth and grass into a small specimen box and sheathing his sword. Moving back to his previous position, Caeles stared at the grass, prodding it every minute or so and even nibbling on a piece at one point before putting a lid on the box.
Putting the sealed box in a pocket, Caeles resumed his observation of the class.

Yuki watched the man walk over to where the reishi leaf dispersed into the air. Afraid she was, afraid she had done something wrong. She looked pale and managed to choke out, "Did.... Did I doo.. something wrong?" Her face clearly indicated how nervous and frightened she was on getting into trouble.
Was she in trouble becase she hadn't followed the lesson? Because it didn't disappear correctly? Because she thought about the place she was at, the nature, the trees, the grass, the soft wind. 'Maybe, my mind connected the things together and only did what it could to make the whole thing fit. The breathing, like the wind, the grass already beneath me, and the reiatsu took form of a leaf. Whatever it was... I'm in trouble for it, for sure...' She thought. Looking at Caeles, she awaited her answer.

"Hmm? Something wrong? No, We were just checking it... We haven't seen that happen before... Cheese!" Caeles sighed before muttering "Something relevant next time.." His voice echoing slightly as two personalities spoke in unison. Rubbing one of his eyes, the head researcher added "We're just going to check it... We are here to research things... Grass!" The pale shinigami paused for a moment then shrugged, grass was actually relevant this time.
Shaking his head slightly, Caeles glanced at the student again "Pay attention to the teacher... We wouldn't punish you for something like that... It's interesting!" Caeles glared at himself, a difficult feat to achieve without a mirror, and just shook his head slowly...

Kaede's normally expressionless face was lit up with satisfaction at the students' progress. She could tell some of them were fairly talented in the art of kidou, and could end up being highly respected kidou masters if properly trained. This years' students' certainly held great potential, although it was still dormant, waiting to be awakened and utilised. "Excellent work, Tazuka-kun, Morino-san. You have both achieved the objective of this class. I expect great this of all of you. Now, for everyone that has mastered the reiryoku control, this class is dismissed. I will be here if anyone wishes to continue training. Others may go." Shen ended with something that could, by her standards, could actually be called a satisfied smile, though it looked more like a half-sour expression of someone desperately trying to smile but feeling a lemon being squeezed into his body at the wrong side of the digestion chain.
