THIS CLASS IS COMPULSORY FOR EVERY STUDENT.
The class is taking place in a half-open training grounds, only covered with a roof to protect from precipitation. The ground is covered in short grass that had been mown not long ago. Students will be standing around in a circular formation with the teacher in the middle, and assistant checking thei work.
Class objective: to be able to create a simple sphere of spiritual energy hovering over your hand, control its size and intensity and maintain it for any period of time.
Perfection is required to accomplish this class.
The class has begun.

Kaede Yui, the teacher of the Kidou Arts, entered the open "classroom" where the first lesson in the art of Kidou will be held. Senbei students were the ones to have their lesson first, and by the looks of it, Kaede wasn't jumping of joy at that fact. Gazing in the distance, trying to figure out if any humanoid shapes are approaching the training grounds, she hissed a flood is nearly inaudible swear words, cursing the Senbei student's manners. The lesson should have begun already, and yet there was no one to be seen.

Ryoma dashed into the room, sliding to try and stop but wound up stopping to quickly, causing him to spin and trip, landing facedown near the teachers desk. With a pained groan he mumbled, "Sorry i'm late teacher."

Kaede sneered at the late student, and said sarcastically: "I appreciate that you could join us, Hiyame-kun." Being the first day of classes, detentions for being late weren't exactly in place, so she'll have to satisfy with torturing the students in her class with urging them to reach perfection. "Please take your place, Hiyame-kun. You can anywhere under the roof, just make sure to have enough of space around you."After giving out the instructios, Kaede looked around nervously, waiting for her assistant and other students to arrive.
((please read the description of the place before you stumble in next time. there's no such thing as a teacher's desk here.))

Lilyth rushed into the half open classroom, she was late and she knew it but she stll wanted to show up. She attempted a stop right in front of the teacher but instead of it being graceful, she nearly tripped over her own feet and landed on her knees right in front of Kaede. "Sorry I'm late sensei," she spoke calmly and bowed though it looked more like groveling because she hadn't gotten to her feet first. She then stood up and looked into Kaede's face awaiting instructions, hoping to not be punished but she knew she deserved one for being late.

~Right, well the school aspect is new to me, so it takes time.~
Ryoma sighed and stood, walking to the first front row seat he reached, then took his place, mumbling to himself, he then took a glance at Lilyth then looked over to the wall, waiting for class to officially begin.

((I see you still haven't read the description of this class, Wave. There are no seats either, it's a half-open training place. This ain't gonna be a lecture, at least not for the most part.))
Kaede looked down at the second student that had arrived, wondering how many are still to pop in. She didn't want to repeat herself, and she had much to tell them. With a quick evaluating glance over the girl, she adressed her casually. "Just find yourself a place, and make sure this doesn't happen again." Like any of the Senbei students is actually gonna take further Kidou classes, she added in her mind sarcastically. "We'll start if you two are ready. We haven't got all day to wait for others." She position herself in the middle of the half-open training place, her face towards the two students, ready to start her lesson.

Solstice enjoyed Kido lessons, a fair bit. They were certainly more entertaining than watching people ocassionally lose arms and legs in swordsmanship and definitely more interesting than Theory.
Seriously who the hell enjoyed Theory, obviously there must be someone but that was besides the point. Solstice had decided to pop in for this lesson, keep her profile low but still be there. For a rare change she walked in through the front door carrying her cleaning supplies on a trolley as though she was here for cleaning.
"Hey Kaede!" she said with a beaming smile "I'm here to clean up the mess!"

Kaede opened her mouth to start the lecture just in the moment Solstice's voice interrupted her. She froze in the awkward pose for a second or two, and the relaxed, realising she won't be able to carry on until she greets the caretaker properly. She turned around, and inclined her head in a slight bow. "Nice of you to have joined us, miss Solstice." She paused a bit, and then added, in a voice filled with overemphasized curiosity so that it hinted the sarcasting undertone clearly: "I didn't know you're taking the Kidou class as well."

Lilyth took a deep breath and sighed, she hadn't been punished thankfully. She then went a found a place to stand waiting for the class to start, and hoping she wouldn't embarass herself on the first day of class. She then saw Solstice enter the area and looked in awe at the size of her. She smiled and made a slight polite wave before turning back to Kaede.

Solstice took a strange sort of western style bow, somewhere between a curtsey and a bow, she grabbed part of her hakama and lifted it up showing her socks, perhaps interesting some of the stranger students, the types into women's socks that is. Solstice resumed her position and pulled out a mop then broke into a laugh.
"Didn't I just tell you Kaede? I'm here to clean up the mess" she said then giggled and pointed at Ryoma. "Don't blow yourself kay' Kiddo. It's a pain to go wipe it all up, just try and implode if you can."

Kaede looked at Solstice in disbelief, with one of her eyebrows lifted higher that the other. Although the caretaker probably didn't realise it, she just succeeded in something that most of the people failed - to force Kaede to actually show an expression on her face. Recomposing herself quickly, the Kidou arts teacher then replied matter-of-factly. "They don't normally explode themselves at merely trying to create a condensed reiatsu sphere. That comes with more complicated Kidou." The right corner of her mouth curled up slightly as the nostalgic memories of students blowing themselves up overwhelmed her.

Sun glinting off of her white dress, Niku made her way through the compound to the Kidou area as fast as possible. Somehow, she had gotten a headache that she was powerless to stop and this wretched sun wasn't helping in the slightest. She gave a snarl to the empty stretch in front of her, catching sight of Kaede with a very small number of students.
"It doesn't surprise me that the house of brainless muscle isn't bothering to show up..." she muttered, putting a hand to the back of her head where a battle seemed to be raging. She was late as well though her reasons, at least in her own mind, were valid.

Ryoma sat back, holding himself up with his hands, "tch, whatever lady....." he mumbled, rather irratated by what few events had just taken place, he didn't bother looking at the teacher, or the other woman, at least not right now.

Niku stopped cold (lol pun) in front of the student who had just spoken. She turned her head, ignoring the bombs that wracked the base of her skull, and glared down at the student. She couldn't believe it... the first class and already the students were insubordinate?
"Would you care to repeat that?" she hissed, all too ready to snap at his flippant attitude "I don't believe I heard you correctly." She turned the rest of her body, making no effort to subdue the angry cold that was now radiating from her skin
