Loki was lost in the sky as she watched the dove fly around in what seemed like a perfectly choreographed dance. How wonderful it must be to feel the wind surround all of your body, she thought with a sigh. One of the doves hade a dark beak and was missing a feather in its tail. Loki figured it was the male. It could have lost his feather fighting for territory or the female he was dancing with. The female was flawless, perfectly white from beak to tail feathers. She was beautiful. Freya… that name popped into Loki’s head. The Norse Goddess of love and beauty. Being name after the Norse God of mischief herself, the mythology was familiar to her. She looked to the male again and she said aloud, “Thor”
Loki grinned at her names for the two doves. They fit them well, Thor the strong defender and Freya the beautiful. There were footsteps behind her and an excited voice speaking very quickly. She turned and saw a familiar brown haired girl and a man with her. Not knowing what to do she watched them as they approached. The man had stopped talking and was now sheepishly looking down at his feet. Loki tilted her head in confusion.

oO________Kata________Oo
Kata quickly covered her mouth and turned her head away. It took every bit of her to not laugh. Not at him, but at his excitement. She had never met someone who was so excited about science. She, personally, hated it: science didn't make sense to her. But, she ended up bursting into laughter anyway, hoping he wouldn't take it the wrong way. And it seemed the more she tried to stop her laughter, the worse it got. She tried to say words in between her laughs: "I'm--sorry! It's not you! It's--the science!"
Other students on the campus began to stare at her. Namely, two males wrestling in the middle of the grassy retreat in the Forum. They broke from their grapples to stare at the girl who was laughing so loudly. They ended up laughing as well--Kata was gripping her sides and looked like she was about to collapse on the ground. After they were done gawking at her, they seemed to head towards the Lunare, slapping each other on the back in jest.
Kata looked back at Vincent after she had glanced at the two hoodlums walking inside and had maintained her control over her laughter. "I'm sorry--it's just the science! I, well, you're the first I've met that loves science so much!" Her face was flushed and she was slightly out of breath from her workout.
Feeling eyes on her, Kata looked around and spotted a face nearby that looked familiar. My roommate? Kata called out to her and the girl walked up to them. She noticed a makeshift bandage on the girl's arm, but chose not to mention it. "Are you my roommate?" Kata began. She was staring at the girl--examining her in a way she was not familiar to. She looked at her hair: it was the first time she had had contact with someone who had such a wild color in her hair! Her parents would have never let her do something so wild to her beautiful locks, but she suddenly felt the urge to add some unnatural colors to her hair and felt that this girl could aid her in the matter.

| That Silent Kid. || The one I'm trying to avoid; Kata. || Other Chi characters included; None. |☆═━┈┈━═☆ His blush got worse as she laughed at him. He swallowed and stared at his feet, waiting for her fit to be over. He heard her words in between her laughter and he meekly nodded – it was still embarrassing. He could feel eyes on him and he peered up, people would stare at her first and then him, wondering what in the hell could be so funny. Vincent couldn’t quite see why it was so funny, but then again, maybe where she came from, people just weren’t into science. He peered back down, his blush slowly disappearing.
She apologized again, and then explained. He shrugged and gave a small smile, “It’s c-cool.” Kata then went and greeted another girl. Vincent peered up at her; she had looked at Kata and then him. He made short eye contact before nodding his head slightly in greeting and peered back down, letting Kata converse with the girl. He stood back slightly, not speaking unless he was spoken to. He softly kicked at some small pebbles, peering up once or twice as he listened to them talk to one another.
As Kata was busy with someone else, he looked about, going over some details that he had missed when he explained his love for science. He almost blushed again, still slightly embarrassed that she had a kick out of it. But then again, she wasn’t necessarily laughing at him. He lifted his shoulders slightly in a small shrug to himself, it wasn’t too bad. Soon enough however, he found himself watching the other people about the campus. There were more here than he first had thought, were there really so much werewolves? While he pondered, he kept an ear out, just in case someone called out for him.

She looked around, the lead smudge she had on her nose itching a bit. Well. I never thought I'd hate the -lonliness- so much.... She shook her head, turning back to the sketch. She had gotten the corner of the room adjacent to her perfectly. The mirrors lining the elevated portion of the room, the window, the corner table with the can of pencils and the Victrola between the window and mirror. It looks okay... I wish I had someone to draw... Hey! People should be up, now! She smiled, excited by the idea of friendly people. Gathering her things, she put her pencils back in her pocket, closing the book and tucking it under her arm. She turned around, walking back over to the door. When she turned the handle, she scanned the room quickly before opening the door. I'm going to be spending a lot of time here... Walking over the threshold, she swiveled her head, watching the area. Fray didn't want to be running smack into someone. She nodded a bit, closed the door and started strolling around, looking for people. After some time, she came across a few people, a red head, like her... Only hers was much more unnatural. Fiery red, not orangish-red. Along with her was a gorgeous brunette, and a young man. He seemed so... Nervous. She smirked. I had hoped I'd come across someone as shy as I am... Good. Then... what I am... Isn't so bad, after all. There are normal people.... If there is such thing in any soceity. She backed up and walked over to a bit of grass in the sun, where ever she'd get the best view. She decided on the left side, as they all were semi-faced to her direction, anyway. She began sketching what she saw of the red head's left side, and the boy and brunette's right. Glancing up every now and then, she noticed the boy grow more and more nervous. She realized she could hear the girls speaking very clearly. Maybe this is what comes with the beast? She recognized the accent of the brunette immediately, as she was from Norway, and most of the people she had grown up with were Swedish. Moving a hand, she gathered her hair into one lock and flipped over her shoulder. Well. Maybe this is what I have to deal with... Still being an outsider. Oh, well. I like the quiet. As she sat in the light, the sun grew higher, and the light shown brighter, making her hair stand out almost as much as the red-head. She kept her head down, though, unless she was looking up to see her subjects, and kept drawing.
[[For future reference, Hoof, what country are we in? We're obviously across the pond, as one of your characters has already said something to that effect, but, where?]]

Sorry Sakura! I just couldn't wait any longer! We can have the convo later on! Dx oO________Kata________Oo
As Loki walked away, Kata waved her goodbye and told her she would find her later on in the day. She was trying to process everything she had taken in about her new companion, for she was going to be spending quite a lot of time with her. She seemed nice enough and wasn't afraid to have a short conversation with her. Hearing Vincent's small farewell, she turned to him. "Ready?" She was referring to walking around the campus--they were barely halfway done. It was just a large and grand campus, even if she wasn't paying attention she knew that much. She hadn't even been paying attention to the girl nearby studying her and Vincent for her sketch.
Kata began to walk, but Vincent stayed behind. Guilt overwhelmed her. Is this because I laughed? She walked over to him and placed a hand on his arm, but he pulled away. "I'm sorry if I upset you... I wasn't laughing at you. I just... I don't know--" He lifted his eyes to her face.
Unable to contain her curiosity any longer. She stared at his face with an intense look in her eyes, surely making him feel uncomfortable. Her face softened as he ducked his head. She pursed her lips together before asking the question that had been on her mind all morning. "Why are you so shy?"
The question was barely a whisper, but already, she knew it was a mistake to have asked it.

| That Silent Kid. || The one I'm trying to avoid; Kata. || Other Chi characters included; None. |☆═━┈┈━═☆ The young man sighed, “You d-didn’t…” Then she asked the question. He froze slightly, but then again, everyone asked it sooner or later. She just asked for it sooner. He grew upset, a large frown on his face as he stared at the ground, eyes intense. “I’m called an Idiot Savant.” He said bluntly, his voice an even monotone. He had accepted so long ago that he was special, but it hurt every time to have and say it again. “I’m good at one thing – Science, and that’s it. I can’t function well in society either, but that was probably apparent.” He did not stutter; he was too busy thinking to stutter. He shrugged and peered at her. “I’m not mad either, just…”
He didn’t finish, and he looked away. His eyes were at the sky for a moment, watching the clouds and the birds. He sighed again, closing his eyes for a moment before re-opening them. “I’m not… I’m n-not upset, alright? Just a w-whole new place and p-people,” he looked away from her and then felt eyes on him. The young man perked up and noticed a girl on the ground, drawing. She peered up, looking at Kata, him and then peering back on her paper and moving her pencil. His brow furrowed in contemplation.
“I-Is that girl drawing us?” He asked softly, glancing at Kata before the curiousity got the better of him and he started towards the orange haired girl. He approached her slowly and then glanced at the sketch-book, and it was indeed Kata and him. He was shocked that he was drawn and then realized the position he put himself in, he now had to say something!
He coughed, scratching the back of his head, “Uh, you d-draw nice.”

((Wonder in Artland, dont mean to be rude, but your kind of controlling my character. I'll roll with it now, but take into consideration that I'd like to post a reaction sometimes will ya? sweatdrop ))
Loki introduced herself to her roommate, and they chatted lightheartedly. She kept looking to the man next to her and thought he seemed a bit off. He looked to be in no mood to meet any strangers, so she'd introduce herself later. In response to his nod at her Loki smiled and nodded back. There was a pang in her stomach which told her it was time to find food, so she said her goodbyes and turned to leave. She looked up again to see if her doves were still there, but they were not. She sighed and continued on. The next person she saw she would ask where she could get something to eat. She came across the back view of a sandy haired boy in jeans and a t-shirt. She reached out and put a hand on his shoulder, "Excuse me, do you know where I can find something to eat." When she saw the face of the boy, she had questioned, her heart jumped up into her throat and she backed away quickly. It was the boy from last night, that murderer! Impulse seemed to take over her body, and she leaned forward and caught him square under the chin in a forceful undercut. She took a few steps back and waited for his reaction. She would enjoy tearing him to peaces.

Fraya heard the boy mention her drawing as he walked, but didn't look up till he was over her, blocking her light. Looking up, a smirk on her face, she quirked an eyebrow at the boy. "Takket?"[[Thanks?]] After a moment, she realized she had spoken Norwegian and shook her head quickly. "Thanks... She looked away, towards the other gorgeous girl. Dropping her eyes a bit, she nodded. Looking down at the sketch, she quickly added a bit of shading to the last bit, and held it up for the girl to see. " You both stood very still... I apologize for drawing you without asking...." she mumbled in a thick accent. Glancing up at the boy, she was able to raise her head a bit, but not much. Her natural submissivness may have been great, but her instincts told her that she might be a little more dominant than this male.

Cristian looked around at the students in the forum. He was looking around when a sudden outburst of laughter startled him. He looked around quickly and saw a man and woman standing together, and the woman was laughing. The boy looked very nervous, and Cristian wondered why. The girl stopped laughing and began talking to another girl. Cristian turned around quickly, seeing that the girl was the same one that had tried to kill him the previous night. He walked out towards another clumps of students, but stopped to admire his surroundings. He saw a butterfly go by and thought of chaos theory, wing beats and tsunamis. At that moment a hand rest on his shoulder and he jumped a little. The voice was familiar, and asked where they could find food. He was about to say that he was wondering the same thing when Loki walked around to face him. Seeing him, she jumped back, a look of hatred and horror on her face. Cristian looked down, feeling horrible. This girl thought he was a monster. And she punctuated that fact by uppercutting his jaw. The force she punched with sent him into the grass. He pulled himself up, rubbing his jaw. He didn't look up, refusing to fight. He just stared down at the grass, fists clenched at his sides. "I-I dont want to fight" he said plainly, though, should she attack him, he decided he WOULD defend himself.

There was a long pause in the sounds coming from one of the residents rooms. There wasn't a question about it to those who had seen Sasha on the campus before. Her journey here had been a unique one, and her stay here was shrouded to most. Until recently the girl had found refuge in her books and classwork, but now things were stirring up again and she could tell there were new scents on the grounds. Blackthorn must had been hard at work finding more of them. Sasha stood up and made sure her door was locked before changing from her current clothes into something new and fresh. A pair of tight black jeans with rips on the knees and back of the thighs just a ways up. To accompany her selection was a low cut black shirt that had some old Irish writing scribed on it and different symbols on the back of it. The back didn't matter however since Sasha grabbed a blue woman's low cut pea coat. A small chain that held a dog tag hung around her neck only for a moment before she tucked it away in her shirt. A few different rings and bracelets were added for a bit of something extra. Finally Sasha slipped into her warm socks and put on a pair of black boots made of gray tall shafted flat boots.
Then there was a click from the door as it unlocked and she stepped outside. Her bright eyes looking around the hall before she exited her room fully and continued by locking the door and moving down and out of the hallway. Sasha was out of the building in no time and making her way to the library. The campus was large, in fact it was so large that if Sasha hadn't of been so good with directions she would of gotten lost. She would stop every so often to look at the beauty of the architecture and admire the landscape of the place. It didn't matter how long she had been there, she had of course only been a few places, and it seemed every time she went about the scene on the grounds always made her feel better. Not as good as a new book made her feel, but it did the trick most of the time. The whole overall appeal of this place was just breathtaking. Sasha now found herself staring off at the grounds in a sort of daze. Anyone could of seen her obvious blank stare and tell she was drifting off some place.

Yay! 100th post! biggrin oO________Kata________Oo
Kata walked over to the female to investigate. As much as she wanted the Earth to open up and swallow her already, curiosity got the best of her. She had hurt Vincent and seemed to continue to make things awkward with him. He's my only friend here... but is he even my friend?
She looked at the stranger's drawing. The lines, dark and light, were so clean and clear. "The likeness is... very good," she whispered in her thick accent. She stared at the drawing of her and Vincent. As she began to wonder why this woman would have drawn them out of so many other things in the world, her question was answered, without even being put into words. We stood still. How simple.
"It's fine. Free art, right?" Kata tried to joke, but then added: "You're very talented." She looked up at the girl. She had an odd color for hair as well: orange. Kata was not used to seeing so many wide varieties of color in people's hair! She could not tell if the orange was natural or not, and thought it impolite to ask, seeing as how she had just asked such an impolite question. The girl seemed shy, like Vincent, but she had no stutter and an accent different from the American accent. Someone else from Eastern Europe? She began to wonder just how many students (her mind was refusing to give voice to the word "werewolf" again) weren't from America; how many were from Sweden; and how many were from Uppland.
"I'm Katarina--Kata." She held out her hand for a handshake.

xX______Miss Emily______Xx
Emily came back to her apartments and let William off of his leash as soon as she had closed the entrance door behind her. He was more than pleased to get off that rope, she noted. There were trunks still stacked in her bedroom filled with some of her clothes and other personal items. She tugged on each of the fingertips of her gloves before being able to pull them off--she liked wearing small, tight gloves, none of the larger mitten-like gloves she had seen on various occasions. Her mind's eye immediately brought Katarina Lindt into view. The girl was unbelievable: it had been a very long time since Emily had run across another of her kind with such a strong animal magnetism. Even William, who usually shies away from werewolves, ran straight for her. That girl will definitely be the talk of the town for a while and she will have plenty of boys flocking after her. Poor child. Richard should be able to help her, if he doesn't fall prey to those eyes of hers.
She sighed and lifted the lid off of the trunk nearest the doorway: it was filled with books and papers, meaning the trunk was probably not meant to be in her room, but in the library/parlor. She decided to look through the trunk anyway. It contained old letters from her sister, her brother, and other various friends. She smiled as she re-read them, the black ink turning brown on the yellowing pages. She put them aside and picked up a book: her very first Astronomy book. She opened up the old pages. The musty smell filled her nostrils quickly. On page 3, there was a folded piece of paper. Wondering what it could possibly be, Emily flipped it open.
It was William--her first William. She dropped both the book and the picture on the floor and backed away quickly to her bed, falling back on it. She stared at the yellow-white back of the photograph, afraid of the front image that faced the floor. Stifling a sob with the back of her hand, she lifted herself from the bed and moved to the window, hoping to distract herself with the beautiful view. Even after five minutes in front of the window, the pain was still fresh, like the day she received the news of his death. Through the decades she had been alive since his death, she thought the pain would subside. But each time she was reminded of him, the pain was near crippling; each time she tried to form a new romantic relationship, she would pull away, not wanting to replace William and not wanting to lose her memories of him to another. That photograph was supposed to have been destroyed, but Emily could never bring herself to destroy the last bit of him she had. Part of her still wished it was all a dream and that she would wake up in the arms of her beloved; the other part wished she had never met him. There was a giant, gaping hole in her chest and it would never heal. She felt the world close in on her and her breath escape her through that hole.
Slowly, Emily dropped to the floor in a heap of fabric, below the windowsill and sobbed silently.xX______________XxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand.

Vincent glanced at Katarina for a second before back at the drawing. The details were awfully good and he soon found himself wondering on how long she had been drawing, probably for her whole life. He noticed the marks on his chin that represent the thin scruff that was peeking out. He ran a hand over his jaw-line and chin, he’d make sure to be shaven and clean before classes started. He nodded when the girl apologized, she really had no reason, he was just curious, and he usually was not the subject of something.
“Y-You just draw people?” He asked, wondering how many subjects she drew. He was interested in art- well, more liked to look at it. He hated art class when he was in Germany, he could not get it right. The paints just seemed to be doing everything but what he was hoping for; or any medium for that matter, whether it was charcoal, pencil, chalk or just paper. But, he made up the embarrassment with Science, it was probably the only time his teachers enjoyed his presence.
A new scent wavered into his nose, he noticed, and looked up. He saw a girl he had yet to see before, with pale blonde hair. She seemed in a daze. He watched her for a moment before returning his attention back to the girl’s drawing. Katarina introduced herself, so after she was finished Vincent spoke up. “I’m V-Vincent, nice to meet y-you.” He waved, not offering his hand. He just didn’t do it, never did.
While he awaited answers, his eyes started to wander again. From the realistic sketch that was below him, from the artist, Kata, the sky, and the people around them. He was constantly watching, he liked to keep tabs on everything. It was just how he was, how he survived.

♛♕ ℳąℜҡ ♕♛ that boy is a ℳϴℕⓈϮЄℜ..... Mark pulled when the brunette grasped his hand, bringing her to her feet. "You're staying in Lunare, I assume, I'll show you the food there." "Didn't catch your name" the girl spoke. "Didn't catch yours," Mark replied without turning around. The two finally emerged from the copse into the now well-lit Forum.
Mark blinked, his eyes adjusting to the bright light. He opened his mouth to speak to the girl when he saw a blonde kid get decked across the lawn. Freakin' new blood He took off towards the fight and reached it in a matter of seconds, his leather sandals clapping across the thick grass. "Hey!" he yelled at the two. He grabbed the boy by the back of the neck, ready to accost him, when he noticed the look on the girl's face, it was a pure hatred. The sandy-haired boy's jaw was beginning to bloom purple bruises, and the girl looked pissed. 'What the hell is this?" he asked, pulling the boy to his side. ♕♛----------------------------------------------------------♛♕

Loki watched as the boy, Cristian, got back to his feet, fists clenched. He doesn’t want to fight huh? That makes it easy for me. A man appeared and stood besides Cristian asking angrily what was going on. Loki had no patience for those who interfered with whatever she was doing. “Butt out!” she growled, taking her fighting stance. She was not blindly angry, but why should this freak live when he took the life of her cousin?! The thought never crossed her mind that maybe; there was more to the story from this boy’s point of view.
“Get out of the way, this is between me and this murderer.” Her hazel eyes, more green than brown in the sun light, were focused pointedly at Cristian, almost begging him to engage in the fight.
