Entering the labs, his gaze darted from the hole in the wall, to the hole in the ceiling, then to the scattered objects. Obviously someone else had been in his labs. He curled his lip as a sign of distaste and upon spotting Hideki, he shouted at him to begin cleaning up, then started muttering to himself as he made his way into the back room. "It was a mistake. She can't handle the stress. Being with that girl is a mistake. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He was, of course, referring to Mochi in his statement, so his use of "that girl" implied that he had both lost interest in her and had begun to care less about her. Strictly speaking though, he didn't care about the repercussions of this decision.
It was just made abundantly clear that his sister needed him more than anything in the world. Hei, for the first time in a very long time, had made a mistake and it was a heavy blow to his pride, not only because he never made mistakes, but because it had brought Yuki harm. There was nothing in the world that he loved more than his sister and he had put her through a great deal of pain over the years. All of his shortcomings and stupid decisions were beginning to come to light before him: using his daughter for experiments and ignoring Yuki's well being, settling with another woman despite the heavy bond the twins shared, overall he had been a bad brother to her, thus he had to fix it. Quickly, he released his entire Bankai, letting the runes and darkness engulf his body. The girl in his arms began to age, his powers over supression were forcibly sealing her Zanpakutō and returning her to the beautiful twenty-six year old woman she normally was.
"I'm so sorry..." Was all he could mutter as he put her down onto her feet. Rei had already been able to heal her enough and his removal of her curse would have subdued her fever. After brushing wet hair from her face, he took a hold of the back of her neck, leaned down, and planted a kiss on her lips. It was a gesture that was more symbolic than lustful, his way of telling her that she was the only woman for him and that no other was suitable. "It hardly feels proper, asking you for a favor, dear. But please, get some rest, and then fix my arm so that I may begin to right this situation." He lowered his hand and then turned on his heel, and strode out of the room. Once back in the main labs, he set aside a tube of the regeneration drug and sat down at his work bench and began to tinker with something. He spoke up to Hideki, never looking up from what he was doing. "How do psychics interest you, Hideki? And if one tried to read the mind of a mechanical girl, what device would you set up to harm the mind of the mind reader?"

Rei had fixed her for the most part, that much was certain, so she was feeling better once Hei released her from her arms. Her Zanpakuto, now back in katana form, clattered to the ground as her feet gingerly touched the floor. She was smiling cutely as Hei brushed her hair to the side and returned his kiss with earnest passion, running her hands across his chest. This was indeed what she had missed, the gentle touch of Hei. His kiss meant to her that he and Mochi were through, and it was enough to send electricity through her body at the mere thought. She touched her forehead to his chest as he spoke to her. It was as though she could instantly forgive him for his reckless actions, she simply didn't care any more. With a sheepish grin, she held onto his hand, fingers running across the back of it and his palm as he turned away. She nodded slightly, and expressly stated that she would get on that right away. As he left, she put a hand to her mouth, hiding her face from embarrassment: only he could get her this excited. She took a few moments, and breathed deeply, then she regulated herself and regained her serene composure, then grabbed Hei's lost arm and walked out into the main area, taking a seat next to him. Still, she was red in the face, despite the time she took to calm down. All in all, she was acting like a teenage girl in love and despite her best efforts to hide it, it was not going very well. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, xxxxxxxx And the storms their energy, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.xxxxxxxxxx

Akiyama Eriko, Gobantai Sanseki "Freedom comes at the cost of your fearful ways. Pay it." l Entrance from First Division Training Grounds l
Eriko stopped at the hole in the wall, Akiri floating just behind her in his water bubble. She had come to recognize the hole as her entrance but would have to learn the regular way into the building eventually. The Sanseki stepped in and began to walk around the rumble that she and Elisia had left behind earlier. Her nerves were on edge as she did this for two reasons: Hei's reaction to the mess and the fact that her Shikai was still in effect. Despite her growing immunity to its primary effect, Eriko had been aware of it all this time and she did not feel that it would be best if Hei or Yuki got a taste of the confidence rush. As such, she pulled over a clean table with a cloth on it before releasing Akiri's body from the water casing and onto the latter with a soft thud. Then, she sent the water over to the drain of a sink and sealed her Zanpakuto promptly.
"Hello, is anyone here?" she called, feeling that it would be okay to leave her charge for just a few minutes. Voices seemed to be coming from rooms further into the building. It sounded like Hei but at least, her anxiety was cut in half at this point. She continued to find him sitting at one of the benches in what appeared to be the main laboratory with Yuki. Her approach was timid. Once she was near enough, Eriko said, "Excuse me, Hakase-Taicho and Hakase-Taichou, I have brought an injured Sanseki. Akiri, I think his name is. He isn't faring too well."
Her fear-stricken eyes looked from one Captain to the other and remained on Yuki. "I know that you have suffered a great deal quite recently, Captain but when you are able, please come and help. I have put him to rest in the lab where the hole is. Thank you." When she said this, Eriko felt more at ease so she bowed to them both and returned to where Akiri was on the table. The water had helped and she was glad for that. He was going to get better help now. Jesus is my Lord ♥

⋆⋆⋆∥ELISIA xRIYU ☇【squadxfourxLIEUTENANT 】 l Entrance from First Division Training Grounds l
Elisia had managed to make it there a little later than Hei and Yuki, since she had been caught in the last wave of that little boy’s attack. However, she had managed to get there, climbing through the hole in the wall and going into the back labs, just in time to see Hei plant a kiss on Yuki’s lips. Her face contorted into one of disgust for a split-second, before she arranged her features to look emotionless. This was not to be entirely unexpected, although she had thought that Hei and Mochi were together. She nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders. Well, she would have to be polite to Hei then, and that wasn’t too much of a big deal once she thought about how his daughter and his twin sister were really nice. Yuki had walked about to Hei, something that Elisia didn’t really want to deal with right now. If Yuki was trying to conceal the fact that she was in love, she was definitely not doing an extremely good job of it. Seriously, even Elisia herself had never seen Yuki so flustered but maybe it was just Hei. Yuki seemed a great deal of a lot better.
Elisia averted her gaze from them, trying to give them whatever privacy she could afford to give. It wasn’t exactly like she really wanted to be here in the first place, as she thought she was needed. Apparently not, but it might be safe to stay around for a bit. There had to be some logical explanation for why Hei had called her out, right? A grimace crossed her face. Then again, Hei, while being logical, might have just wanted to drag her away from there for no particular reason. Eriko was there, asking if they could help heal somebody in the lab where the hole was. At least for the moment, she could figure out how badly this person was wounded. Skipping into that particular lab, she realized that this was the unknown Shinigami who had given her water before. She’d better heal him as quickly as possible. For all she knew, Yuki was drained of power and she wouldn't be able to heal anyone at the moment without regressing in age. Sighing slightly, she hurried over to Akiri, stopping next to him. With gentle fingers, she examined him, looking at the injuries. Bankai would be best for this, it would seem, but she had better gather some light energy later. “Rukki Huang,” she mumbled under her breath, drawing her zanpakuto. Her zanpakuto shattered into nothingness and using the light energy she had, she used Chiyudō #30: Iyashi so that he would feel no pain whatsoever. Using Chiyudō #28: Shōshaku, she cauterized the wounds with fire Reiryoku and then using Chiyudō #63 Zōketsu, she injected him with more blood, since there had most likely been blood loss. Finishing up, she healed the other wounds or the more severe ones with her light energy she had absorbed. He should be coming around about now, although he wouldn’t be able to feel any pain at the moment, because of her Chiyudo. There was a chance he might feel sore the next day, but nothing worse than that. She waved her hands in front of his face. “Hey, how are you feeling?” she asked.

A small smile passed her lips and she turned on her heel, putting herself out of sight for the moment. Bending over, she put her hands to her thighs and smiled widely. It was as she wanted it to be, it was as it should be: a mother and father being together. She couldn't help but notice that Yuki seemed smitten with Hei at the moment, so she moved towards them in an attempt to break up the moment that would likely make everyone start to wonder strange things. Placing a hand on Yuki's shoulder, she flashed a grin and set Hei's katana down on his table, and glanced over at what he was working on. "Is that what I think it is? Interesting..." She leaned into Yuki and dropped her voice. "Okaa-san, you're making your affection very obvious. I don't mind, I think it's cute, but people might start to wonder. Just saying..." Tsukiko sidled over to the other side of Hei, sat down, and then began turning off all of her systems, effectively shutting her body down such that Hei could make the modifications he needed to. ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪

≎Akiri Minami≎
≎3rd Squad Sanseki≎
After a few moments of testing his muscles to see if they would react to his will Akiri finally pushed himself off the table before landing on the ground with a soft thud. Being shirtless in a dark corridor may cause some coldness but Akiris body was like a furnace and was constantly hot. In fact being shirtless was far more comfortable then anything else. Though wearing nothing but a hakama was not the greatest style for a Sanseki. Either way right now there were more important things as Akiris ears perked when he heard the all too familiar voice of the Sōtaichō and he seemed very far from happy about the recent events though Akiri did not have all the facts so he only listened with slight interest as he walked towards the room. Just as he was entering he heard the apology from the Nibantai Taichō and responded in kind with a simple nod nothing more. Looking up once more he caught sit of the Sōtaichō as he vacated the premises which was not overly surprising for the man looked far too stressed to cop properly or with a clear mind.
Moving a bit further into the room Akiri stood to the side away from the others for they were mainly all captain and a Sanseki was rarely if ever present of invited to such gatherings. Although what happened next was even more surprising for after Hei left and returned holding the Haori that bared the Division 3 insignia he tossed towards Akiri who managed to catch it with one hand. Luckily he was back to his full strength due to healing though a little stiff in places. There was no shock on Akiris face but more an inquisitive look brought on by a raised eye brow. Lowing his hand to his side he listened to the Jūnibantai Taichō speak. Waiting for a moment he watched as Hei returned to his seat not waiting for a reply and decided to let the man finish his speech before replying to the question while simultaneously putting on the Haori. The long sleeves were annoying and not to his liking so not caring for the thoughts or in the inherent reactions of the others he tore the sleeves off and tossed them into a bin in the corner. This was the perfect accessory so he would not have to wear a top anymore yet still look reasonably respectable.

⋆⋆⋆∥ELISIA xRIYU ☇【squadxfourxLIEUTENANT 】 The Shinigami had opened his eyes and managed to reply to her queries. A sigh of relief escaped her lips. It seemed that he would be fine and her healing had worked alright. That was good, since her Captain wouldn’t have to worry herself about these situations. Being a Lieutenant was hard work sometimes, she had to say. Forming her zanpakuto in her hand again, she cancelled her Bankai and sheathed her zanpakuto. Her energy supplies were nearly drained at the moment so she’d better get a refill later. A smile appeared on her face as Akiri thanked her. Needless to say, it was a rather strained ‘thank you’ but one nevertheless. It was always nice to know that her healing skills were always appreciated. “That's good to know that you're alright. Try not to overexert your muscles too much, but other than that, everything should be fine,” she said to Akiri. She stood idly, wondering what to do. Suddenly remembering something, she turned to Eriko. “Oh, by the way, I’m extremely sorry that I had to leave early from our spar. It’s just that…there was something wrong with my Captain.” she told Eriko apologetically, “I think we’d better stay for a while and figure out what’s happening. Did you know that person who had randomly appeared?”

Sōtaichō ~ Tomomi Iwakuro
Tomomi appears and enters the labs. He had yet to take any clothing beside the parachute-legging-type-pants he had on. He had to hold on to each zanpakutō with them in their saya. He takes the string on one so he can hold both in one hand. Tomomi combs back his longer, somewhat blonder, hair. He breathes in deeply and lets out slowly, "Hei, we have to speak."
Maybe what could frighten someone is as a child this would sound less serious, but in the voice he had received now, it showed he was not playing around. He puts the strings of his zanpakutō's over his shoulder and lets them hang. He puts his hands to his hips, and looks down, licking his lips as he thinks of what to say. He sighs again and looks to Hei, "Why didn't you tell me? You went and did it without my permission. You almost had me killed. You almost killed many other shinigami. You maybe even killed my favorite waitress and cook. You could have injured or even killed your sister, not that you did or it was highly possible, but it still counts on the list of this long-a**-list-of-Hei's-idiotic-things-to-do-today. This may be.. the first time.. I have ever, and I mean ever, been pissed at you Hei. Yes, I know, it may not be the right time as you almost lost your sister -- another thing to put on the list -- but damn it, Hei!" He puts a hand to his head and holds it. He did not give a care in the world for who was around. He looks to Hei, "You won't receive any punishment... for now. You're too valuable for me to give up. You're the only reason I may still even be around, right? My reckless ways have always ended up with you there, scolding me and calling me names, so I could pull myself together, right?" He goes to a lab-chair and sits down. He feels a little drained, "Damn it, Hei... You're lucky you are like a brother to me, or I... I... I don't even know at the moment!" He holds his head in his hands, "We've gotta find out 'bout that kid... how he knew to come when we were weakest... what he meant by why we weren't needed and that we weren't fulfilling our jobs." He looks up, "Someone get me a cup of sake and a bowl of ramen?"

572 xxxxxxxxClimb the mountains and get their good tidings.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.Yonbantai Taichō 博士雪
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Eriko and Elisia enter at separate times. Eriko seemed to have said something about something, but Yuki's mind was on only a single at the moment, and that didn't include Eriko. She was only snapped out of her infatuation when Tsukiko called her 'okaa-san'. Smiling sheepishly she quickly changed her demeanor which was just in time as Tomomi showed up and begun berating Hei in front of him. Figuring he wouldn't be too happy about that, she decided to put him in a situation where he couldn't move. Her jerk reaction was to invoke Masuichuusha twice and numb the hell out of his entire right side. Quickly she rose and grabbed a scalpel and the syringe of regenerative serum that Hei left out, released her Zapakutō quickly, put on a pair of surgical gloves, then sat back down next to him and began her operation.
The room suddenly grew very cold as she dropped the temperature with her own power for the purposes of inhibiting the spread of bacteria in the area, and also to keep her cool as she worked. She began to carefully slice open the burnt skin she had caused earlier, removing the skin and dropping it into a small pan she had set aside. She had been overly careful to stop his flow of blood to that area with her own power, so that she wouldn't be affected by the poisons and acids in his bloodstream. By the time Tomomi had gotten through his small speech, which she had politely tried to ignore, she was done cutting him open. Picking Hei's arm up, she broke the Chiyudō that kept it on cryogenic stasis and then pressed it to the open wound, taking several minutes to correctly align the veins, muscle tissue, and bone. Her free hand went to the syringe on the table and slipped it into the basilic vein, injecting the serum into his bloodstream.
The serum went to work quickly: it was quite an amazing sight to take in, actually. What seemed like itty-bitty tendrils of muscle struck out and bonded with each other as bone tissue began to mend. Corocoacromial, acromioclavicular and superior glenohumeral ligaments all bonded bone to bone, seemingly coming alive as they did. Veins fused together, then skin repaired itself, creating a seamless seal where the wound had been. Once she was done, a Hell Butterfly landed on her shoulder, she glanced down at it and received it's message. She leaned closer to Hei, dropped her voice considerably and whispered something in his ear. Breathing deeply, Yuki rose to her feet and moved towards the sink where she removed her gloves, disposing of them in the hazardous waste basket, and began to clean her scalpel. Turning away from the sink, she looked towards the other Shinigami and tucked her hair behind her ears. Folding her arms beneath her chest, he furrowed her brow and then, as though she looked like she remembered, she disappeared into the back room, and emerged wearing naught but a loose white tee and what appeared to be basketball shorts. "Sue me, I almost died..." She muttered to herself as though someone had actually expressed concern as to her choice of outerwear. After this, she pulled herself back into her former pose, leaning against the sink with her arms folded beneath her chest, expressing distaste for the current situation. She didn't feel the need to make a large entrance so she simply chose to sit on a nearby chair, drawing it as Yuki emerged, looking back to normal, albeit differently dressed. Hei must really be something, a genius vizard, certainly something to be feared of. "Feeling better Yuki-san?" She was trying to ignore Tomomi's lecture to Hei at the moment, but it was getting rather difficult. While she never gave it much thought at the begining, now that she was at peace with herself, she wondered why Hei decided to become a Vizard, and noone gave the order for his death for dabbling into powers that usually were strictly forbidden.
"Tomomi, we need to focus on a way to beat that intruder...." Her voice held a tone of annoyance, at either the child or his own lack of skill was yet to be determined. "He said there were more of them and that their purpose was balance, any idea on that?" She wondered if there was a greater power then the Spirit King, but realized on how foolish she was being. There was no limit to one's abilities to grow, and perhaps there were greater beingas out there, who deemed it their duty to be the balancers of the world? Noticing the burn victim, she felt that she owed him something, especially because the whole reason he was there was becuase of her carelessness.
"Oi, you..." Scratching the back of her head sheepishly, she silently curses to herself. "Oi, you, Eriko, erm.....Elisa-san,right? I apologize to you two for making you take care of some guy I burned. Akiri, I apologize..." She wasn't used to feeling regretful, but today she was feeling more vulnerable these days, most likely the attack has shook her, if only a little.

Sōtaichō ~ Tomomi Iwakuro
Tomomi looks and points to Yuki, "Do not speak to me like I didn't give a damn. You know my first thought when you were in that feverish state was to get you well. When that being appeared, yes, I acted stupid when I blocked the Second Division's Byakurai, but would the brat even of been hit by it with his previous and forward shows of telekinesis and mind-powered abilities? I think not. I've had enough stress on me in one day. I'm tired, so I'm sorry if I'm acting pissy." He props his head up with one arm on a desk.
He turned his attention to Nu, "And you are correct, we should focus on the little boy. We have, of course, established his power is oriented in the telekinetic range. He has a mind-reading ability, and that is maybe how he knew when you interrupt us. Now, why did he attack us? Was he trying to dispose of us, or was it to test us? As for him saying he was a balancer... I need to search the archives, but there may be a race of spiritual creations unknown to us, and in the Archives we may find something from the old days which could tell us even what they could possibly, maybe-not-entirely, be of or from. Whatever they are, it's strange they would send that boy only. Either he is their strongest, or they think of us as weaklings." He gives a sigh, "He said we were doing a lousy job... our job is to balance souls and Hollows. How did we get out of balance? Did we kill too many Hollows, or save too many humans? The real thought to worry about... Are they going to rebalance through killing humans... or by killing Shinigami?" He stands and combs his hair back again, "I need to leave.. I need sleep.. Nu, I'll be at your office, as mine is currently under... renovation." He looks to Hei and bows his head, "Take care, big bro. Just meet up with me when you can, I'll be crashing at Nu's if you didn't hear." He makes sure his zanpakutō's were on tightly and left the room. He would exit the base in a serious of shunpo's.| Yuki, just go with the flow, him snapping at you is just part of his half-dead-asleep mode he's in, so he's not paying too much attention to everything~ |

As Tsukiko sat and shut herself down, Hei plucked a small pen-laser from his desk, lifted her hair up and began to open her scalp with the laser, making a thin incision in her synthetic skin. It took about a minute before he was fully done, and then he removed her scalp and set it to the side. Inside her head was well-maintained circuit board and various mechanical devices carefully placed within the confines of Tsukiko's head. Picking the device from his work table, Hei flipped it and slid it into an open space in her head and began attaching the colorful wires to their appropriate places, soldering them to their appropriate places. It was round this time that Yuki began her surgery and numbed his entire right side. The drop in temperature didn't seem to bother him too much, though he did look uncomfortable.
As Tomomi berated him, Hei remained silent with the mindset of just letting him blow off steam: it wasn't as though he could do much of anything, he was numbed up anyway. The attachment of the device to Tsukiko's motherboard and Hei's arm surgery finished simultaneously. He flexed his fingers, touched his fingertips to his thumb and then moved his arm to ensure a full range of motion. "Thanks." He muttered after Yuki had relayed the Butterfly's message: though his thanks was not to the message, but the surgery. He was just reattaching Tsukiko's scalp when Yuki came out in a tee and shorts. His gaze flicked to her body, and he stared vacantly for a moment before shaking his head and finishing the job. Rising from his seat just as Tomomi began to chide Yuki, Hei released his work tools and disappeared into a back room. He wanted to say something about Tomomi snapping, he wanted to be protective of his sister, but he also knew that he had no place after the trouble he had caused. By the time he was back, Tomomi was gone, for the best, Hei mused.
Re-emerging, Hei carried with him a folded Haori with the rhombus at the top of the fold, emblazoned with the 三 symbol within it. It would remain a mystery those who witnessed this event as to why he even had such an article of clothing. Swiftly he moved towards Akiri, then once he was about 6 feet away from him, he tossed the haori at the boy, and not very gently either. Even at this distance, it was abundantly clear that he towered over the new Captain. "Are there any reasons stopping you from gaining a Bankai in the shortest amount of time possible? Or rather, do you think you can handle it? It won't be easy." Curling his lip back, he didn't wait for an answer, but instead took to turning on his heel and going back to his bench in a huff. Sitting down, he ran a hand through his hair and tapped his left index finger to his forehead. "It's not unheard of, or rather, too strange for there to exist a higher power. We can hardly call ourselves omnipotent. The slaughter of the Arrancar army all those years ago could be what sparked a concern, if that is indeed the problem. I don't think there would be anything in the archives, I've been through everything and I've never heard of a race of psychics. I'm sure I would remember something so interesting."

"No matter the danger or hardship i will gain my bankai immediately." Of course this did not mean right this very second but it did mean he was willing to go through everything and anything no matter the risk in order to gain the power he had been seeking alone. Who better then the Captain of 12 squad to know a way for him to do so in a hurry yet still know how to control it as if he had it for the longest time, or at least that is what he was hoping. He had already mastered materialization of the Zanpakuto's spirit for all he did everyday in squad 3 was train for without a captain missions were very rare for a lone squad member. So standing there in reasonable silence the new Sanbantai Taichō awaited the plan and the task he would have to undertake to gain Bankai

Akiyama Eriko, Gobantai Sanseki "Freedom comes at the cost of your fearful ways. Pay it." Eriko watched quietly as Elisia worked on healing Akiri, not feeling insulted in the slightest that she had not taken note of her as yet. She stepped back accordingly as the boy sat up and gave them thanks for helping him. He was proud and did not like to have to thank others for anything. That was apparent by his tone of voice. Eriko nodded and whispered, "Don't worry about it."
Elisia's apology took her by surprise but she just waved it off. "That's alright. It's a good thing that we went though. We were able to help out and didn't get into much trouble. As for the boy, beyond his introduction, I don't know much about him either. Like you said, you should just wait it out." She shrugged with a soft smile as the Sōtaichō made himself present and heading directly for Hei. Curious about the Head Captain's intentions since she did not know him too well, Eriko walked a few feet closer to where they were talking. He was upset and every right to be, she assumed. While she waited for the other Captain's response, Hakase-Taichou had changed into - different clothes. Eriko could not say much for save her position as well as her own attire of a jersey and her hakama.
Suddenly, she was distracted by the voice of her former Fukutaichou, Nu. The now Nibantai Taichou was addressing the Sotaicho with her concerns about the mysterious toddler and then, the woman apologized to Elisia and her. Eriko was about to tell her that it had not been a problem as well as a bit of fun but she was cut off by Tomomi's tired reply and subsequent departure. She wondered if he would need help with that before anything else could progress for her, Eriko had to speak with her own Taicho. Her mind followed this course until Hei appeared in their area of the maze of labs with a folded Haori, the mark of the Third Squad on it. What would he being doing with that? This question and others were soon forgotten as the man threw the cloak at Akiri and said something to him about learning Bankai as soon as possible. Did he just promote Akiri to Captain?
Eriko pushed off the wall on which she had been leaning and moved over to Akiri to see his reaction as well as to congratulate him. She would admit that the unplanned tearing of the arms took her by surprise but he did not look too bad. Eriko felt an inexplainable tug at his professed determination to learn the second phase. She nodded heartily, excusing the notion as pride. "Congrats on the promotion, Akiri." Jesus is my Lord ♥
