About-Faces and exits

Finally all of my Extended Profile complete, I might replace the main header later on, but it's good enough for now, as for the rest of it, I think it's permanent to a degree. ninja My next project: Seeing what I can do about that white box in the Multimedia section when you add a song to it. ninja

As said on the Main Guild pageank can be gained through time, loyaly to the guild, and meeting the posting requirements, along with being helpful, attitude, etc. Rank Upgrades don't come often unfortunately, so trying to gain rank fast is impossible, it's sometimes even a couple of month gap between rank upgrades, they come when their earned and deserved.

Yes, and when you do get one, it feels good after waiting for so long. But it also makes sure that members here have earned their ranks through a very long time in the guild. Some members have been here for over a year and a half, those would be your Paladins, some of the others that are not higher in rank, but have been here for that long, they've only kept up with the posting requirements and never tried to go beyond the minimum, they gained rank slow and don't show leadership capabilities, so their rank is only around say a Knight after a year and a half, it all depends on the member and what effort they put out really. So if someone is a higher rank, trust me, they've earned it through time and dedication and I'd back them up anytime before any newcomer to the guild considering someone new hasn't proven theirselves like the older members have time and time again. I'm hoping you'll advance because that means your putting in the effort to be here and going beyond the normal posting requirement, taking it one step further and becoming what we refer to as a good member.

*Wearily opening the door to his office, he bolts the door behind him for safety in his injured state, so that he can rest in peace. Taking the last few swigs of the dark brew that he tended to call coffee, but with the standard issue coffee they serve at the Mess Hall, it was like sludge, one of the many reasons he puts enormous amounts of sugar and cream into it, pretty much turning the coffee white with all of the cream, but it's also because he loves the sweet taste of sugar and cream. But he drained the foam cup and crushed it in his armored fist, feeling how light it was, he threw it towards the wastebasket, it falling straight in, he nodded approval to himself. Then he walked over to his old and beloved couch that he missed while he was away and let Allectus use it when he was General, it was a relic, but very comfortable and worn in, probably his most prized possession in his office, however much it was battered up and tattered. He took off his helmet and laid it down on the floor beside him and then proceeded to lay his armored bulk down, being careful to not put too much pressure on his now mended shoulder, where before it was a torn chunk of meat, but the AutoDoc fixed it up well enough, good thing he knew how to run the damned thing by himself. The cushions and springs making their familiar squeaks that he knew so well through extensively using his favorite couch and closed his eyes, letting his thoughts fade away and the dreams started invading his conciousness, he was asleep.*
