Ender's Office
This is the office of the General, which is also his personal living quarters. The door is made of steel with heavy locks in place for consideration of privacy and protection, due to confidential information may be inside. Upon entering, a large wooden desk sits that provides a work area for the General, in front of the desk are two metal chairs with light padding, behind the desk, the General's chair, is a large chair made of soft leather in the color of black. A little ways left to the desk from the entrance is a battered old, leather couch, which is the General's prize piece of furniture, it's used for casual audiences and doubles as a sleeping area, which means the couch is well used. To the direct right of the door, beside the couch is a large gunsafe that houses Ender's personal weapons when their not in use, in his office for the need of quick armament in the event of a emergency. To the left of the couch in the opposite corner is a bookshelf which houses various books and magazines that interests Ender, most of them military related, but some being very rare volumes of history books of the past. Directly to the left of the door is two more large bookshelves which house the same contents of books. To the right of the General's desk is a filing cabinet containing mission files and information about base operations in farther regions of the territory that BOS has expanded into with distant outposts, along with other such data records. Directly behind the General's desk, along the left wall upon entering is a door made of heavy steel, locked at all times and requiring a key which the General always has hung around his neck, inside contains one safe large enough to hold very confidential files, maps of distant locations unknown to most except the General himself, confidential reports, items of important value, etc. The storage room itself has many shelves for storing important items, one being his Advanced Power Armor when he's required to dress in casual clothing, ensuring the armor is protected against theft. Upon entering, straight across the room, almost behind the General's desk is a curious door of heavy steel that's always kept locked and only openable through the key hung on the General's neck, what is kept in this room and what it used for is often unknown, but rumored to be mostly a type of personal training room, even though it is said he may have other items or technology stored in there in the large dark corners. Inside of the training room is numerous boxes in the event personal training with himself or with another member if the chance is ever offered. Here, the General often stores very large crates and in the past, it was said he kept a Deathclaw inside that he was using for personal training in combat, maybe even to train it into a pet, but that project was never heard about again, what the General carries on in this large room is vastly unknown.

Unknown Items and Creatures Inside Training Area:

Humanoid Robot
User Image
The C-27 Series Humanoid Robots are devastating war machines built from pre-war technology. They have high damage capacity, including most resistances but are especially vulnerable to EMP weapons.

Special Traits:

* Tight Nuts: This robot was built to take the knocks. It has increased damage thresholds but it is twice as difficult to repair.
* Targeting Computer: This robot has a dedicated targeting computer. All attacks cost +1 action points to perform but when it does attack it has a +15% chance to hit.
* EMP Shielding: This robot has a dedicated EMP shielding system. This makes it heavier and therefore slower. This trait causes a penalty to agility but a 30% bonus to EMP resistance.
* Beta Software: This robot is equipped with experimental software. It gets 4 tag skills but is prone to unexpected system glitches.

Deathclaw
User Image
Deathclaws were derived from mixed animal stock and then refined using genetic engineering to produce super fast killing machines. Because of their extreme power they get a large amount of hit points and a boost to radiation resistance. However they are vulnerable to fire and cannot use any weapons or armour.

Special Traits:

* Domesticated: You have undergone extensive house training and have developed higher than normal intelligence. However, you do less unarmed damage.
* Rabid: You are a half crazed feral killing machine. Crippled limbs have less effect on you and you receive bonus action points whenever you kill an opponent. But chemicals, including stim paks, have no effect on you.

Special Perks:

* Death Sense - You have developed superior senses. The perk gives you a +20 bonus to perception whilst in the dark and a +25% bonus to detecting enemies using the sneak skill.
* Brutish Hulk - With this perk you gain double the normal amount of maximum hit points each time you gain a level.
* Talon Of Fear - Venom has seeped into your claws. All unarmed attacks poison your opponents.
* Hide Of Scars - Your battle weary flesh has hardened. Gain +15% to all resistances but fire.

Radscorpion
User Image
A mutated Scorpion the size of a subcompact car. They are big, nasty, and generally a nightmare in progress.

Posted due to Ender's interest in the information:

Fallout Story

The year is 2299. 120 years ago the world came to an end. The war, the final war of the old civilization, was over the last pitiful resources mankind could extract from a barren world of our own creation

Unlike the previous wars, this "Last World War" was fought with the very resources they hoped to gain: Uranium and Petroleum. This need would cause the European Union to disband back into a pack of squabbling nation states, it would cause the US to annex Canada, and for china to invade Alaska.

In the end, as predicted by thousands of paranoids and survivalists, the world ended in an Armageddon of nuclear fire. Europe blasted itself into a glowing pothole, India and Pakistan finally hit the button, China and the US (whose vaunted SDI systems barely managed to eliminate 1/4 of all missiles launched) vaporized each other, and the rest of the world soon followed suit falling into the disarray and chaos of devastating shortages, conventional warfare, and nuclear bombardment. By the end of the decade civilization was in ruins, leaving billions dead or dieing.

The past years have not been static. Many Vaults (large Fallout shelters built to hold thousands) have opened, while just as many have remained sealed. Those that survived have formed towns, governments, and raider gangs. Many small empires vying at a chance for supremacy attempt to recapture the grandeur of the before times struggle to gobble up the surrounding hamlets, towns, and city-states

Organizations of Mention

New California Republic: Based of the once insignificant town of Shady Sands, the NCR is one of the greatest attempts at recreating the United States. It controls much of Southern California, from San Francisco to the Los Angeles Bone Yard.

Brotherhood of Steel: There are actually two branches of the Brotherhood. The Original BoS located on the West Coast, and the splinter Brotherhood located in the Midwest. The Brotherhood is descended for members of the United States Army and their families who were in bunkers when the bombs hit over time they slowly grew into the powerful Techno-Religious organization they are today. The Midwest BoS was created when the Brotherhood sent some of their more expansionist members eastward, in pursuit of the Mutant Army (IE: exiled them)

Brotherhood of Steel (west coast): This, the original branch of the Brotherhood, located California. Sees as a form of "Tech Police" parceling out their advanced technology to those they deem worthy. They tend to be slightly xenophobic but retain a benevolent attitude to the more honest and hardworking members of the wasteland population.

Brotherhood of Steel (Midwest): The Midwestern Brotherhood is in recovery from the long process of conquering the Midwest, ruling a band of territory stretching from Chicago to Cheyenne Mountain in the West. Although their territory is vast, they are in the process of consolidating their rule. All throughout their empire you can find cities that have opted to remain independent, rampaging raider gangs, and other suck weirdness.

The Restored United States of America: Based in Washington State and Oregon the RUSA was one of the first of the new nation to emerge. While it does not have an overwhelming military technological prowess it is a stable Republic that lacks the general disorder of the younger empires. One of its most distinguishing factors is its outstanding Postal Service...

The Super Mutant Army: 50 years ago a being known as the Master attempted to take over the world using a legion of mutants. When the Vault Dweller killed him, the super mutant army fell apart. Although disbanded remnants of the mutant army can still be found.

The Desert Rangers: Based out of what was formally a prison in Texas the Rangers are the descendants of survivalists and members of the United States Army. The Rangers see themselves as a force for law and order in an otherwise chaotic and lawless era. They are like the Texas Rangers of old, defending the helpless from raider gangs and other such riff raff. As such, most decent folks have a deep admiration for them.

Slavers Guild: Dun out of The Den in Northern California, Slavers Guild is an organization created to regulate and control the slave trade. Simply enough, Slavers are human garbage that sell their fellow man like bramin. Guild members are easily distinguishable by the tattoo on their fore head.

NCR Rangers: A group of people based out of NCR whose only mission is to screw over the slavers guild at every available chance. They run underground railroads, safe houses, and they even organize the occasional Liberation strike ageist slave pens and high profile owners.

Raiders: Raiders are not actually one group, but are many. Simply put, Raiders are scum. They are a collection of well-armed warlords and gangs who extort money, slaves, and goods out of helpless farmers and communities.

Tribals: Tribals are the many tribes of survivors of the holocaust who have reverted to a more spiritual and naturalistic way of life, not unlike the live style of pre-European Native Americans and Australian Aborigines. What little tech they have (and can understand), they hold dear considering it a magical object of great power. The attitude, and culture will vary tribe to tribe. Some are rather open and friendly welcoming strangers, while other are hostile and violent, having reduced themselves to the level of cannibalism

Races of Fallout

Humans: The fact that any humans survived the war is a testament to their ingenuity; the fact that there was a war at all is testament to their stupidity. Human covers all normal humans, and most semi-human, but still close mutants

Super Mutants: Super Mutants were created by the Master 50 years ago, by dipping normal humans in FEV (Forced Evolutionary Viruses). They are extremely strong, but usually below average human intelligence (this is not to say they are all stupid). They are much larger then "Normies"; on average they are 7-8 feet of solid bulky muscle. Mutants cannot use armor meant for humans, but they can use much larger guns. To a mutant an MP5 is a Side Arm, while an M60 is a rifle. It is not unusual to see Mutants firing weapons that would normally wound or kill a normal human (IE: firing an M2 .50 cal Heavy Machine Gun with out a tripod).

Ghouls: Ghouls were once humans, but they where caught outside without protection when the bombs dropped. They are highly resistant to radiation because of their exposure. Unfortunately they are physically weak and cannot use heavy weapons. Because of their great age, and prewar education Ghouls tend to be extremely intelligent when compared to "Smooth Skins." Ghouls look almost exactly like Zombies, only more dried up

Deathclaw: No one knows where these monsters came from, most likely a very bad but real dream. Some say that the pre-War radiation caused some animal to mutate into a Deathclaw. They are big nasty predatory horned critters that are basically a collection of claws and teeth. They are big, fast, strong, and worst of all, they hunt in packs. Don't mess with them or you will end up on their dinner plate. While most are only as intelligent as really nasty apes, some have been rumored to speak...

Critters of the Wasteland

Bramin: Two headed cattle. Enough said.

Radscorpion: A mutated Scorpion the size of a subcompact car. They are big, nasty, and generally a nightmare in progress.

Giant Bug: Big Damn Bugs. The most common types are: Ants, Hornets, Manti, and Roaches. They average at the size of a small dog. While they are not dangerous individually, they like to come in small swarms.

Geckos: Big Damn Lizzards, that move in packs, and whose skins fetch a high value. Come in 3 types: Silver, Golden and Fire. Silvers are the normal type, tougher then a man but that's why we use weapons. Goldens are mutants. Their bigger tougher and can take quite a few hit before they drop. Their skins are worth 5x as much as a Silver's (they are also 5x harder to drop...). Fires are the nastiest of the bunch. Their hides are worthless and the breath fire. They are deadly.

Rats: Same old rats, only bigger

Pig Rats: Part rat, part pig, all nasty. Very tasty, BTW

Mole Rats: Are they giant bear like rats, or rat like bears. Who know!

Giant Rats: Giant Hairless rats the size of a pony. Nasty Mofos

Dogs: Same old man's best friend, although many have gone feral living like wolves.

Cats: Still around. Many are wild, but they're still the same as ever.

A poem wrote by Impish Lolita to me because I was bored and found no posts interesting enough to respond to.
Impish Lolita
Through window while you undress
My eyes meet body and analyze flesh
Oh baby it's you, you I think about
Oh baby it's you, I can't do without
In your closet while you study
I see you as no mere buddy
Oh baby it's you, you I think about
Oh baby it's you, I can't do without
Over your body while you sleep
That image I will always keep.

I apologize for deleting a few posts, I felt like two more reserved spaces was needed in case I expanded my office with important information and updates in the future, might as well make the space available now while the thread is fresh instead of way down the road and lacking space then. 3nodding

I'll be leaving Allectus's Retirement Announcement and my own announcement up tonight and possibly tomorrow before taking them down, deleting my announcement and putting Allectus's Retirement Announcement in the Historical Subforum. Thank You for your time and patience in reading this message.

Nothing much to be doing right now, so I think I'll go try to buy and resell and perhaps do a bit of slots, I have a headache and I doubt I'll be online much longer. xp
