The last time that I went to the doctor (friday afternoon) I was 50% effaced and 1 centimeter dialated. Now I'm actually having some "show" (I know... rolleyes .... eww). I'm excited and I can't wait! It's my third pregnancy and if I have this baby today, it will be on my oldest child's birthday! xd I don't really like that idea, but whatever happens, happens....

Okay, I had my OB appointment today and I'm still 50% effaced, not dialated, but the baby has dropped and the doctor thinks that I'll make more "progress" now. She also did an ultrasound to check on the fluid level and it's good, we also got to see the baby breathing, which she siad is a really good sign and that it means the baby's healthy and doing well!
On the down side she wanted to prescribe a sleep aid for me. I'm against taking prescriptions (or drugs in general) while pregnant if I can possibly avoid them, but I did tell her I'd pick up some Tylenol PM and see if that helps. I don't know if it's the stress, or the fact that I'm waking up just to roll over, but I havne't been sleeping well; who knows maybe it's both.
Well as long as I Make it that far, my next appointment is on the 7th.

hahahh you were EXTREMELY lucky if that happened with your first pregnancy Jen, thats not normal AT ALL. The biggest complaint I hear from women in the last bit (besides heartburn) is lack of sleep. That and peeing all the time. I cant believe you were only getting up once a night to pee, thats unusual as well. I remember at the end I had to wake up everytime I wanted to roll over and pretty much everytime I had to roll over I had to pee. Im peeing all the time now and its only the 1st trimester!! eek Ive always heard the lack of sleep is training for the mother to get her used to getting up all night with the wee one. 3nodding

Pinkee: Yeah, my first pregnancy was so much easier than this one in SOOOOO many ways. With this pregnancy I'm waking up every time I roll over and when I need to pee. I've heard that too, but my OB was upset that I wasn't sleeping well 'caue she's worried about how I'll be for labor.
Munkey: The motion sickness bands I picked up from... Shapiro (I think it was) and they were like $7 or so. If they help in the car I think it's worth it.
That'll be nice for Jake to have his lisence back!

True for $7 it woudn't help to give it a try.
I had my baby shower the other day and once I get the pics back from my friend (Me and mom forgot our camra). We had to leave some of the stuff over my mom's boyfriends and I can't waite till I can bring my chair (a gliding rocker) home. Oh well I'll post sum of the pics when I get them.

Munkey: Did you have fun at your shower then? Get a lot of the things that you registered for?
Ariue: Hi 4laugh This is my second child too. I've got just over two weeks left to the due date now. Do you konw the gender or are you going to have it be a surprise? Edit: *read intro thread* Looks like a little girl. How fun!

Jenannen: Yah I got almost all the big stuff/stuff I needed. The only thing I Didn't get that that I want/need is the Crib Tent (It keeps everything bugs, cats ect out and the baby in).
Yah it was fun 1/2 my family was on me about still smoking though, and the other 1/2 coudn't say anything becouse they smoke lol. But it was fun I forgot to grab the camra the other day when I was over my step sisters.
Ariue: CONGRATS! And Welcome to the board! No you don't sound snobbish, I think I still find myself 1/2 not talking about it. I hope everything is going well for you. I'm preg with my first and it's a BOY!
