We practice anywhere from 4 to 5 times a week, sometimes more than once a day. That's during school. In the summer we practice more.

wow, you guys practice so little...
my schedule:
summer: two weeks after schools out;
6-9pm monday through friday
3 weeks off in july
one week of 1-9pm
Band Camp- 8:am-9: pm
week of 1-9pm
school::
Monday: 3-5
Tuesday: 3-5
Wednesday: 3-6(sectionals)
Thursday: 3-8
Friday: 3-4:30(football game)
Saturday: 8:am-whenever we need to leave for compatition(usually 4-6 hours practice)
yeah, and this goes on toward the end of october.

gawd we practice alot:
day : time of day
monday: 3-6
tuesday: 6-9
wednesday: no practice!!
thursday: 3-6
friday: 3-6
occasional saturday practices: 9-12, (1 hr lunch), 1-4
bleh its a tiring whee
EDIT: i'm in a high school marching band btw.

my band practices everyday(they have their own class at the end of the school day) and after school on tuesdays and thrusdays 'til 4:30 and right before a competition we practice from 10:00 to 4:30 on Saturdays

this is our schedule: monday-no practice tuesday-6pm-9pm (sometimes 5pm-9pm) wednesday-2:30pm-5pm (sometimes 2:30pm-6pm) thursday-2:30pm-5pm friday-2:30pm-5pm if there is no game. if there is one then it's 2:30pm-4pm lol we have no life

We practice 3 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with music sectionals on alternating Wednesdays for an hour and a half, occasional marching sectionals arranged by section leaders, and 3-4 extra hours preceding a game or a competition.
High school band, BTW.

It's a class at my school. We have the longest period of the day, and we meet every day.

Our band is marching band until November.
We practice every (week)day during school if it isn't raining, and have a Monday night practice too.
High School.

Our (high school) marching band is 0 period from 7-8 in the morning. When we're performing that week the class is Tues, Thurs, Fri, and on non-review weeks Mon & Wed. On non-marching band days it's jazz band.

Monday 7:00am - 9:15am
Tuesday 7:00am - 9:15am
Wednesday 7:00am - 9:00am
Thursday 7:00am - 9:15am
Friday 8:30am - 9:15am
We practice everyday 7am on the feild except for fridays. Wednesdays we always have a different schedual, the classes end earlier. I don't mean to brag, but we're one of the kick a** high school marching bands that everyone wants to be xd

My band is a high school marching band and we practice Monday-Thursday from 3:30 till 5:00p.m. We sometimes practice before football games on Fridays.

I'm in a high school marching band.
During the school year, we have practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M., but you usually don't actually leave until 9 P.M. On Saturdays there is a morning session (9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.), and then there's an afternoon session (1:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.), but you usually don't get to actually go home until 5 P.M. or 5:30 P.M.
During summers, well, let me put it this way: summer's a break? What's a vacation?

how do you get a show done with only one practice a week?!?
its always 2 and a half hours, after school, everyday. oh, i'm in a high school marching band by the way. yeh, its 3:30 sometimes 3:15 till "5:30" but we dont go inside until 6:00. the extra time is for punishments, which they give to us a lot.
and at least we get our summers, but we start two weeks before school for camp and thats 7:30 to 4:00. oh, and the night before a competition there is an extended practice session. till 9:00 maybe, then the next morning we have to be back to load the bus at 4:00AM because we have a morning performance slot.

i don't get a lenghty practice, but i do five times a week.
we go outside everyday for band, and we have a double period rehersal b4 every major field show, so us and the other band have our parts on the field nsync
