Jamie had hardly touched his own plate, but he had shoved the food around so much it hardly appeared that way. He looked up, as if he hadn't expected to hear his own name, much less be offered a way out. "Oh? Um, that would be nice, thank you." He nodded, blue eyes wide, and got up from his seat, grateful for the reason to leave the prying attention of strangers. "Thank you for dinner, Nori. It was delicious." He smiled, friendly, showing none of the timid hiding he had displayed at the table.

Kyrin's mood brightend slightly when Jamie agreed to go with her. She was more then happy to be able to help him get settled in, even though he really didn't have much, and she really didn't want to have to explain him to all the members right at that moment, especially with Jaydn being the way he was. They would all ask too many questions. The questions would have to wait until Jaydn accepted Jamie, And he will accept him. She thought, still slightly bitter at her cousin for their conversation. "You're welcome to join if you like Nori." Kyrin said as she made her way out the door, with Jamie following her out. Kyrin made small talk with him as they walked down a few halls. She pointed out how to get back to the kitchen and she pointed out the two doors that belonged to her and Nori as they passed them. There were a few open rooms down a hallway not too far away. It was on the same floor as Kyrin and Nori, so she felt comfortable with him staying in it. Also on the floor were Miles, Charles, Levi, Maddox, and Jaydn. Kyrin opened the door to a spacious room with a large king sized bed with numerous pillows and a down comforter. There was a small chest of drawers on one wall and a desk on another. The door to a walk in closet stood open, displaying the unused space. On the wall to the right when they walked in was a door that was open to reveal a bathroom. Like all the other rooms, there was one bathroom shared by two rooms. The bathroom was joined by two doors that could be closed and locked if need be.
Kyrin showed him into the room. "I know you probably don't have much, but this can be your room. Perhaps we can shop for some new clothes and such... so your closet wont be so bare." Kyrin smiled, she liked to shop. "What do you think?" She asked, trying to judge his reaction, "We haven't been here too long, so the rooms are all fairly new. We have quite a few that are unused. This is the closest to Nori and I right now, but I am sure we can get you moved closer if you want."

Jamie was mostly silent, though receptive and encouraging to her light banter. Hearing a friendly voice was helping, if nothing else. He remained undaunted by the scale of the building, he was used to it, used to the mafia environment. He entered the room only a couple steps behind her, and looked around. "Thank you, Kyrin, I do like it. And the closer I am to you and Nori, the better, though I doubt it makes much of difference, so long as we are on the same floor. But may I ask with whose bathroom I share? Just out of curiosity, of course, I hardly know anyone here." He was gracious, and his eyes brightened at the mention of finding new clothes, the only things he had were what fit in his hoodie and jeans pockets, and that was only a cell phone, its charger, Ian's gun, and his mp3 player, with its own charger. Jamie grew somber. "Honestly, Kyrin, I can't thank you enough for letting me stay here."

Kyrin nodded at the thanks, she would do nearly anything for a close friend, just as her father would do anything for her within his means. She was truely her father's daughter, trusting when she needed to be and untrusting when it suited her situation. "Actually, as of current, you don't share a bathroom with anyone. You would be sharing one with Levi, but Xavier made me promise a while back that I leave the room ajoining Levi's for him when he is able to come back." She shrugged, "So for now, you have the whole bathroom to yourself." When he turned somber, Kyrin smiled warmly, "Don't mention it Jamie. I know you would do the same for me if I was in your situation." She knew that he wouldn't be able to do exactly the same if their positions had been switched, but she knew if she was in trouble that he would take care of her as best he could, or at least she hoped he would.
After she was sure that Jamie was settled into his room, Kyrin made her way back down the hall to her room. As soon as she unlocked the door, she was greeted by the pleasent smell of strawberries, it was the smell of the shampoo she washed her hair with and the smell of the freshner in the room as well. The smell made her smile, just as it made her think of Miles and she laid on her bed, kicking off her shoes.

Six foot three in a black pinstripe suit and blazing orange hair, Xavier looked upwards, towards the top of the building, the sun glinting off the windows. The smile on his face was even reflected in his gray eyes, today was going to be one of the greatest days of his seventeen years. He tilted the hat that matched his suit back on his head a little and he brushed a few strands of layered hair from his face. Walking up the to automatic doors, Xavier was flanked by two people unfamiliar to the mafia. One was a woman and the other a man. Xavier walked with purpose into the bottom floor of the office building. He looked around at the people meandering around and met the gaze of a select few before making his way straight for the elevator. A man at the front desk picked up his phone as he watched Xavier. Seeing the man, Xavier stopped and asked his companions to wait. Walking up to him Xavier spoke, with a little irritation,”I don’t know why you are staring like you’ve never seen me before.” Xavier knew that the man couldn’t understand him but as he spoke a look of recognization passed over his face. With a smug grin Xavier turned on heel and continued to escort his guests. In the elevator he keyed in the five number combination that would bring him to the floor that Jaydn’s real office resided on.
Walking the two down the hall he stopped at the door in front of Jaydn’s office and pulled a set of keys out of his pocket. He flipped through a couple and then unlocked the door, opening it he allowed them inside, ”Please take a seat.” He said to them both, gesturing to the big arm chairs. He, himself sat behind Jaydn’s desk, in Jaydn’s chair. He then excused himself for a moment and picked up the phone on Jaydn’s desk. He dialed Maddox’s number, knowing that the middle brother would see the number for Jaydn’s office and come running. When Maddox picked up Xavier said,”Hello dear brother. Please get Jaydn and come to his office on the double.” Xavier didn’t wait for his brother to say anything, thinking that Maddox would be speechless if nothing else. He folded his hands together and looked at his guests once more. ”Jaydn will be here soon. I’m sorry for the wait.”

Following Xavier into the large building, Jun felt mildly uncomfortable. The building had seemed to loom over him when he was outside, and now that he was inside he believed he would never be able to explore the entire complex in his lifetime. He was worried about meeting Jaydn in person, and the woman who was with them made him feel under dressed for the meeting. Jun fidgeted with is baggy pants, considered tucking in his shirt, then decided against it. "Whatever" he mumbled to himself as he seated himself in one of the chairs Xavier offered to them. Slouched in his most comfortable position, Jun appeared particularly languid. Altering his attention to the room decor, Jun silently prayed Jaydn was as mellow as his brother, Xavier. Jun had come to appreciate Xaviers Style during their trip to America.

Molly followed the Japanese youth, Xavier, oblivious of her surroundings. Molly was too busy going over all of the details for her first meeting with Jaydn. Her hair was tied into a perfect bun, her skirt suit was perfectly ironed and fitted on her tall frame. She held her small briefcase in her left hand, it contained all of her credentials and many other important documents about her business practices. Her designer glasses set on her face created a shield between her and this new world. Taking a seat, Molly wondered at the short conversation Xavier had on the phone. "Here? Why would we not meet Jaydn in his own office?" Molly watched Xavier, reading his reaction. She was coming to believe he would be a dangerous person to trust.

Xavier leaned back in Jaydn’s chair and crossed his legs on the desktop. He had enjoyed his last couple days, having flown back from Japan with Jun and having stayed at Uncle Han’s place. He had met Molly at Han’s and immediately thought that she was a little too high strung, but Han had said she was good at what she did. In private Han had given Xavier the knowledge that it would be Molly that would be keeping him out of trouble; out of jail. At Molly’s words he said, ”Oh, this is Jaydn’s office.” A smile lit his lips. He could almost see the looks that would be plastered across his brothers’ faces. Jaydn would be furious and Maddox… well he could really be anything, but Xavier thought he would look dumbfounded. Removing his black dress shoes from the desk he stood and walked around the office, stopping at the book shelf, he went through a few of the books. Nothing interesting. And so he moved on. He sat back at the desk, waiting for what was to come.

Xavier's smile was the last thing Molly wanted to see. This ones going to keep me busy, I'll cant let him out of my sight"Is it usual for other people to have a key to Jaydn's personal office?"Molly was sure she already knew the answer to this, but she did her best to hold her composure. Quickly Molly began going over how she would deal with the various ways Jaydn may react to this little stunt. Shifting her legs, Molly pulled up her brief case. I'm going to have to take a look at his security as well. Molly riffles through papers and makes a few notes as she waits for her new boss.

The fact that Xavier had key's to a room or rooms that he may or may not suppose to have key's to didn't interest Jun as much as the idea of what might be about to happen. Maybe it would be better if Jaydn wasn't as mellow as Xavier. In fact I hopes hes not! Jun kept silent in while Xavier and the woman talked. She seemed a lot more concerned about the situation than Xavier. Jun couldn't understand why. If Jaydn is angry, it will be directed at Xavier, he'd have no reason to be mad at us. At least that's what Jun hopped. Becoming slightly more paranoid as time dragged on, Jun hopped Jaydn would get there soon, before he lost his cool. Putting on his shades, Jun could hardly see, but they made him feel a little better, like he was safe behind them.

Upstairs, as morning had rolled it's way over the city's sky, Miles was already on his second cup of coffee and typing on his laptop. He'd been dealing with frivolous information gathering since morning about the new city, wanting to pry his way into casino dealings. when one of his men had called him, he hadn't expected to have too long of a conversation, so now the phone was hot against his ear. "It really can't be that difficult can it? It's just a couple names." His hand was briskly pressing keys. "It doesn't matter, just don't be sloppy. ...Chinese Water Torture? Of course not, that's ridiculous. Wait, what does that involve again?" A long beep interrupted the conversation. "Please wait a moment, I have another call." A voice from one of his men on the bottom floor was calling. "Yes?" "Sir. Xavier Matsui and two others have just gone past the front desk. " Straight and to the point. "Xavier?" He paused "What's he doing back? Who's with him?" "I don't know about that sir, but there's a man and a woman accompanying him. They went to the office floor" Miles knew that if Xavier was back, he was probably going to find either Jaydn or Maddox. Jaydn would be asleep at this time in the day, so why were they going to the floor with his office? "Thank you. I'll deal with it. " he said, and switching lines to his other worker, "Call me back later." And hung up. Miles gave a lengthened sigh, and made his way to the elevator. Having to deal with Xavier again. Unexpectedly. And if Miles didn't know, then Jaydn probably didn't either. Well, wasn't this going to be fun? Miles pinched the bridge of his nose. Jaydn wasn't going to like this. He made his way to floor with Jaydn's office, seeing the door slightly open. Miles invited himself in, to see Xavier and two strangers there. "Xavier." He nodded, in a somewhat 'hello' and also somewhat 'What-the-hell-is-going-on' way.

Maddox stared blankly for a moment at his reflection in the bathroom mirror, toothbrush in one hand and holding his cell phone to his ear with the other. He had glimpsed at the caller ID before answering the phone and had been curious as to why Jaydn’s office number was on the screen. He had assumed that perhaps Jaydn had just had one of his all-nighters and was calling Maddox in earlier for their usual meeting rather than waiting to do it later. He had been expecting to hear the disgruntled mumbling of his older brother, not the voice of his younger brother, the familiar underlying mischief in his tone. There must be a reasonable explanation for this… However, whatever the reason would have been, it was currently eluding Maddox and that worried him.
Placing the toothbrush down and putting away his phone, Maddox rinsed out his mouth and dried his face before venturing reluctantly through a door from the bathroom into Jaydn’s room. Maddox made his way quietly over towards a desk lamp, knowing the layout of the room like his own, and flipped the switch to cast a dim light across the room. The only other sound was the steady deep breathing of the man sprawled out on the bed, blankets splayed atop of him. Maddox made his way over to the side of the bed, saying softly to rouse his brother, ”Jaydn. Good morning.”
At Maddox’s words, Jaydn’s eyes shot open, not yet comprehending that the person talking to him was no one of threat to him. Once he recognized the large blue-grey of his brother’s eyes, Jaydn’s own drooped with sleep and annoyance. Muttering as he looked over at the digital clock across the room, he expressed his feelings on being woken up, ”What the hell? It’s 6 in the ******** morning. What do you want?” If this was an emergency, Maddox would not have taken into consideration the idea of ‘softly’ waking up Jaydn and the older man knew this. This had better be good.
Knowing that now he had Jaydn’s attention, Maddox fidgeted on the spot trying to think of how best to break the news. There really was no way of saying it nicely, though. ”Eh… Xavier is in your office." Perhaps being blunt would do the trick?
”…What?” A flurry of movement and Jaydn was up out of bed. Maddox wouldn’t lie to him, even to mean it as a joke. It just wasn’t in him. Going to his closet and throwing on some clothes, he asked angrily, ”How do you know?” This was quite possibly the last thing he needed at the moment. Considering it, Xavier and his antics were rarely ever something he needed at any moment.
Maddox, having already been dressed, took to fixing Jaydn’s bed for him, so that at least he had something to do other than stand there awkwardly in the near dark room. ”I received a phone call from him from your office.”
Once he was presentable, Jaydn stormed from the room, muttering under his breath, ”Damn brat…" Maddox following after him, the two made their way down the elevator to the floor of Jaydn‘s office, Jaydn grilling Maddox on the situation that the other man had little to no idea about. Once arriving, they stepped out, Jaydn taking long strides towards his office, his temper soaring exponentially as time went on. As he neared the room, he witnessed a glimpse of a person disappearing through the doorway. I’m not even in my office yet. What the hell is my door doing open?
Going in, Jaydn was prepared to set off on Xavier who was rumored to be there and whichever else of his men that allowed themselves into his private office, when upon entering the room, he found himself face to face with Miles, who was perhaps the only person Jaydn wasn’t surprised to see in his office given the current situation, and two strangers. Xavier’s presence, sitting in Jaydn’s own seat, went ignored for the moment as the mafia leader willed his volatile temper to cool as he assessed the situation. I'll deal with the brat later. His expression cold and his words crisp, he asked of the two unfamiliar faces seated within his office, ”Good morning. I’m afraid we’ve never met. Care to introduce yourselves?” His question however was more of a demand.
Maddox, who scurried after his brother stopped just past the door, looking in, speechless. Xavier really was here. How, he had no idea. But not only that, others were with him. A deep feeling in his gut said very plainly to him that this simply wasn’t going to be good.

Xavier chose to ignore the question that Molly asked, knowing full well that it was something she didn’t need answered. Of course it wasn’t usual. Watching Molly rifle through papers, Xavier thought her to be very much like Maddox in that respect, always looking at papers. Xavier slowly took off his hat and placed it on Jaydn’s desk. He was watching Jun at this point; in the time that they had been together he hadn’t seen the other man become nervous. He had also never seen any one wear sunglasses in a well lit building. Slightly odd, this one. He thought with a smile. Xavier liked Jun well enough, he kept Xay entertained while he was away from Jaydn and that was enough for Xavier at the moment.
When the door opened suddenly, Xavier grew excited, he expected to see the faces of both his brothers but was disappointed when Miles entered. Miles was never someone that Xavier was overly fond of. The man never slept and he always seemed to come around at all the wrong moments to ruin Xavier’s fun. Xavier regarded Miles with a smile, however, because he knew the fun would still be on its way. Its confused, angry, ill rested way. ”Morning Miles. Good to see you again.”
Just as Xavier finished his greeting, the door opened again and there was Jaydn. Xavier heard the masked anger in his brother’s voice and the smile that spread across his face was that of genuine happiness. It was good to see Jaydn again, in all of his self centered egotistical glory. And Maddox too. The expression that was on Maddox’s face was just a cherry on the sundae. The day is good.

Molly disregarded Xavier's choice to ignore her question and returned her things to her case. When the door opened, Molly almost jumped to her feet before realising the newcomer was not Jaydn, he wasn't even Japanese. Though he was not of any importance to Molly, the new man was interesting to say the least. He was obviously of some importance, since he had walked into Jaydn's office without knocking, and so obviously was already informed of who was there, and they had only arrived about 15 minutes ago. He was a man who, if she ever paid attention to it, Molly would have thought was attractive. This was probably because he reminded her of her father. But Molly was hardly checking out Miles' sexual appeal. What Molly saw in Miles was a man fully awake at 6am, so he was most likely not lazy. Not only was he awake, but he was well dressed, not a thing out of place. So he obviously was smart enough to keep his appearances in order, and this just meant he must have been awake for a while. His glasses were of a nice design, one Molly could even see herself wearing. Miles. I will have to remember that name.
Before Molly could properly introduce herself to this interesting character, the door opened again. At first Molly kept to her seat, assuming the newcomer was another worker coming to see what was up. This person was in no way as interesting as the Miles character. He was dressed in nice clothes, but they were not pressed and they seem to have been put on hastily. His hair made him appear to have just rolled out of bed. But Molly quickly realised her mistake, Jaydn's glare towards Xavier and the small boy following at his heel gave away the mans identity. Quickly standing Molly offered her hand to Jaydn. "Malika Al-Kohen, it is a pleasure to meet you Jaydn Snow-Matsui." He's going to be upset. Hoping she could get out of the line of fire before Jaydn dealt with his brother, Molly made room for the other boy slouched in his chair to address Jaydn.
Now standing, Molly was able to see Maddox. Han Matsui had told her who she would be working with, and she was glad to see at least one of the Snow-Matsui boys seemed to be together. Molly was sure if he was weak enough for this Jaydn to control, that she could use him for what she needed him for.

Watching the back and forth between who he still thought of as ”The woman” and Xavier, Jun continued to survey the room. When the man called Miles entered the room, Jun removed his glasses and sat up in his chair, getting ready to introduce himself. Miles looked so professional that Jun began to feel even more underdressed. But seeing that Jun didn’t own any clothes nearly as nice as what Miles or Molly were wearing, there was nothing he could have done. Before he could say a thing to Miles however, the door opened again, and in came a man who Jun was forced to assume was Jaydn. He didn’t look as professional as Miles, but he was Japanese, and he acted like he was in charge. Not to mention the look he had given Xavier when he opened the door. Behind Jaydn came another man, who Jun did not know, but the man seemed ok with that for the time being, so Jun chose to ignore his presence. Standing After Molly, Jun waited for her to finish her introduction, Jun smoothed out his clothes and took off his hat. ”Jun’ichi Kato, It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Holding out his hand to the man, Jun realized that if the man was Jaydn, there was a chance that he didn’t speak Japanese, and was ready to correct his mistake if the man hesitated to respond in any way.
