I never found anything in there but on the way to a competition I sat next to my friend who is a trombone player.I play flute. He took my instrument and put it up his instrument and he almost got it stuck.
And, we were tuning and our bd threw the tuner to the tuba and instead of catching it with her hands she leaned foward and caught it with the tuba. It was almost lost in there forever so one of our perccussonist hand to reach into it and get it out.

There may be plenty of fish in the sea When we were at band camp one of they guy's sax cases broke, so his poor sax was unprotected from, like, stuff. One morning he picked up the sax and an earwig walked out of it. Quite an ewwww moment. but who really wants to date a fish?

tested_and_true Found a family of rats living in a souzaphone...XDD it was hilarious cause all the girls were jumping into our arms screaming "MICE!!!" we just laughed and picked em' up by their tails and threw em' out. Then one year this kid ran a snake through his trumept and a bunch of luges' came out the other end, it was so nasty. But he caught it all in a piece of paper and gave it to the band director...which was hilarious. o i love mice and im a girl and so i had pet mice mice are so cutee aww

I didn't find this in my flute but my director put a broken pencil in the end after we were playing for a while so we would sit up straight and they all kept falling out and hitting the floor. He made us stand up for ten minutes straight and everyone was standing in the front row so nobody could see the conductor and we got all messed up. 4laugh But not me, I have good posture. Kind of...

i had a band teacher, who said she had a student who left his trumpet out of its case and then left it there when he went on vacation. he came back, then it wouldnt play well, so she went to see why it wasnt playing well, and there were ANTS in his trumpet. so yeah, i thought that was really gross XP

I play sousaphone during marching band and last year we played for the soap box derby. They were giving out prizes and throwing things into the crowd- the sousa bell looks like a target to some little kids and when I got back to the school and turned it to see what I got I had some candy and a few bouncy balls. Also each time it rains we get like a gallon of water out after games. biggrin

I have this weird, unidentified chunky stuff in my tuning slide. o___o It might just be soot, but I doubt it. (Trombone)
I use the school's CONN Director trombone and I saw this little thing that looks like it holds the instrument in place(You'll have to see a pic of a Conn Director's case in order to understand) and I pulled it, noticed it was a compartment for oils and such....And I found a tissue. O______O Some parts were stuck, So to be safe, I flushed it down the toilet and washed my hands incase if somebody used it in the winter. D< I really, really don't want to know why there was a tissue there. Gee, theres always garbage cans. xP
