Nikki chased after Edgar and grabbed his arm. "Wait, what are you talking about? What do you mean by 'child of Poseidon'? My daddy was in the military; there was no way he could have been Poseidon."

Edgar turned to face Nikki. "The gods work in mysterious ways," he replied. "Poseidon could have simply taken the form of your father and impregnated your mother. Though you may appear to be your father's child, I sense within that you are a Child of Poseidon." He paused for a brief moment. "I am here on Earth to observe humans, learn about this world, and destroy the Children of Hades. Even though you are only a half-breed, you still possess some of my uncle's power. This, however, you must discover on your own."

Nikki looked at with Edgar wistful eyes at the thought of death. "What's wrong with the Children of Hades? Do you mean to kill them? Why must you do this?" She lowered her gaze and brought it up to him again. Did she believe him about the whole Mount Olympus thing? Yes, she decided she did. The way he spoke didn't indicate a lie, but the whole Poseidon is her daddy, she wasn't so sure. She wanted it to be true; every kid has the fantasy of having super powers of some sort. Well, there was only one way to find out. She hesitantly asked Edgar, "Is it possible for you to give me some pointers on discovering my powers? I know mine will be of a different element than yours, but it's not like I can ask anybody else for help on figuring this out."

"Carile?" Foxx said absently staring out the window of the PT Cruiser. "Can you let me out? I've changed my mind. I'd like to walk around for a little while. She fished a fresh water bottle out from under the back seat and unbuckled as Carile slowed the car and parked then turned to look at Foxx confused.
"You've never passed up swimming for anything." She said squinting at her. "What? Did you see some kind of super pool or something?" She asked.
"No I just want to walk around for a little while." Foxx responded innocently then quickly added, "Alone." When Carile started to unbuckle and get out as well.
"Fine go ahead." She said, "Meet back here in about two hours!" She yelled out as Foxx closed the car door and hurriedly set off back down the street.
She stopped two blocks away and closed her eyes. The spots were back. She chose to go the the closest one. She followed it, closing her eyes at each corner to decide which way to go.
Eventually she came upon Nikki and Edgar. 'Who?' She wondered as she closed her eyes again to confirm that the glow was the girl.
((i think this is it for me for tonight... i've got to keep my computer privilages you kno XD))

Edgar glared slightly. "The Children of Hades are abominations of this universe," he explained. "They are not to be trusted and must be dealt with through violence." He sighed and then paused briefly. "I suppose I could aid you in your discovery of your hidden powers. You already mentioned that you are an excellent swimmer. Perhaps you can control the water element or communicate with aquatic creatures. It's possible to say. We shall meditate sometime."

Nikki nodded, not wanting to press things further about the Children of Hades. When she heard Edgar agree to help, she became excited again. "Really? So you'll stay with me a little longer? Could I really manipulate water or talk the aquatic critters? I wonder what a sea cucumber has to say. Oh, I'm so excited. I really do hope you aren't pulling my leg with this." She straightened herself out and raised herself a bit with her toes and kissed Edgar on the area of his cheek that wasn't covered by the mask.

Edgar grinned happily from beneath his mask upon receiving the kiss. Never before had he received such a thing. "Yes," he replied. "You can accompany me on my travels. Along the way, perhaps you shall discover your powers."

Nikki grinned happily at Edgar before she realized something, and this realizing made her frown. "Oh, what am I going to do about my aunt? I was supposed to be staying with her in San Francisco. She runs an orphanage there, you see. Oh, I doubt she'd be too happy if I called her and told her I'm not coming." Nikki sighed and pulled out her cell phone. "Hold on, Edgar, I need to call my mother." She motioned for Edgar to wait for her as she walked back towards the tree for a bit of privacy.
"Hi Mom! I need to discuss some things with you..."

Blake's plane had no problems landing, well, except for it almost being high jacked, but that was taken care of when the hijacker was stupid enough to shot himself in the foot. So he got arrested as soon as they landed, Blake got off Scott free of work, his temp managers thinking the whole experience must have been traumatizing for him, but now he was stuck on San Jose. A horrible, but maybe not so much, place to be besides his hometown of New York. And why were airports so cold anyways? Waiting for his luggage while holding onto his important documents was toucher with how high the air conditioning unit was blasting icy cold air right at him.
(( You guys are lucky i'm so bored! ;D ))

Rayne jumps off the cloud right behind an air port. She walks out and catches Blake's eye. They make eye contact for a moment. She feels a weird aura about him that seems familiar then she walks away.

Blake looked around him intending to complain about the cold to an employee or something, but something else caught his eye, or rather, someone. He felt like she was baring down and staring straight into his soul. It scared him for a moment until she finally looked away and left. Well, at least he wasn't cold now.
