I agree with Stronghearted11. Nice premise, but you it'd suck because they'd hire a bunch of "Saved By the Bell"/"California Dreams" type drama actors who would screw it up by pretending to play and holding the instruments wrong and everything. Sounds like it would be a great Youtube thing, though. biggrin

I would totally support this sort of thing. But they'd have to get real band kids/people to play the characters. No one can act it like the real thing. I can't imagine an actor holding an oboe. TOO MUCH DANGER. I don't want to see the poor thing crack/break before it even gets a chance to live... (besides, who plays a musician better than a musician? We all have our quirks that only we can really have, right? Oboists are all a little... <3)

Instrument danger aside~ this show would be like the coolest thing ever! It would get everyone's attention~ the choir director told us that band kids are always the same, that he recognizes other people in some of the band kids because we do a lot of the same things that they did when he was in high school, so it would have a nostalgia effect on older people and and epicly awesome effect on all the current band people! I vote YES.

First episode title: Be Peppy or Be Peppered!

But here's the big question... What kind of band? High School, College? Marching, Concert, Orchestra, Pep? So many decisions...
I would absolutely love to watch it. I know my band would find it mildly amusing, as would our BD probably...
