Chibi Sailor Aomori
HP: 25/50
Action: following charybdis, but also making sure twin is ok!
Damage: --
Location: F6 to E6

Aomori wanted to let out a cheer as the generator they had been attacking went down like the others, but since they were supposed to be stealthy (and because Hokkaido seemed to be wanting them to keep quiet, too), it was a quiet sort of cheer where she was cheering in her heart rather than cheering out loud. As their group moved onward, Aomori continued to dutifully follow both her mentor and their chibi senshi leader, while still dragging Hokkaido with her, though out of consideration for her twin, the two followed behind at a slower pace, so that Hokkaido wasn't too scared. After all, there were an awful lot of bad people up ahead...

Unfortunately this meant that she didn't get a chance to help out with the next generator, but that was okay! They could help with the next one, or whatever else came their way. Lepus and Charybdis would surely come up with another good plan to follow, after all.

General Aquamarine
HP: 100
Action: Attacking Tanais.
Damage: 2 (roll) + 7 (rank) + 5 (faction) + 5 (chaos bonus) = 19
Location: F2

With the new Lieutenant finishing off Cybele, Aquamarine turned his attention to other threats nearby.

Ashanite was engaged with a Knight (Tanais), and though he had help, they’d clean up here a lot quicker if they all pooled their resources. Many of the White Moon had scattered when the generator exploded. Others littered the ground as inert bodies. Adding another to their count seemed a satisfactory solution to the loss of their alien machine.

Aquamarine gave Jet a nudge and encouraged him to follow. He felt slow and clumsy without the aid of teleportation as he made his way to Ashanite. Even if the distance was mere yards, Aquamarine relied on the ability for speed and the element of surprise. It felt unnatural to come upon the Knight without it.

“Hey, Ashanite,” he said when close enough, unable to suppress a snide smirk. “A question for you. Is this a Squire or a Knight?”

He lunged, shoving his blade toward the Knight’s (Tanais) flank. She was tall, well built, armored. The colors of her attire signaled her as belonging to Mars as much as the symbols did. Aquamarine was sure he’d never seen her before, and yet…

He noticed the distortions Chaos was making of her appearance. The scales. The horns. If the Chaos succeeded in taking hold, Aquamarine could imagine who might stand before them.

Cinnabar!” he seethed, then, “Jet!” to draw his attention.

Everywhere they looked, they were surrounded by traitors.

Corrupt Eternal Super Sailor Kamacite
HP: 164 - 22 (Alphubel) = 142
Action: Thanks, Albite. Assisting Faustite with Mont Saint Michel.
Damage N/A
Location: B6

Kamacite let out a yelp when the Knight (Alphubel) turned his magic on him. He shielded his eyes, but the yelp only made his throat hurt worse and he immediately regretted it. He felt confused -- disoriented. Like there was something he should be doing but wasn’t.

He never thought he would be relieved to see Albite’s terrifying youma-form, but after being around Faustite for so long, and Wolfeite before that, nothing really surprised him when it came to youma. He was grateful, and let out a breath of relief. Kamacite still couldn’t speak, or rather it hurt when he tried, so he did the next best thing he could think of -- he held his hand flat and brought the tips of his fingers to his lips, then moved his hand forward and down in Albite’s direction. Thank you, he mouthed, before turning his attention to their half-youma friend.

As upset as Kamacite was about Faustite’s new pet, he was horrified when the faux youma launched himself onto the Knight. He couldn’t call out to stop him, or to offer encouragement, but Kamacite wasn’t going to just stand around and watch as this Knight tried to pull Faustite limb from limb.

He was exhausted. His magic was nearly drained completely. His body ached from the exertion of the damage he took and his throat still hurt too much to talk. And whether or not Faustite actually needed help with this one, Kamacite rushed forward to aim a kick to the back of the Knight’s (Mont Saint Michel) leg, trying to unbalance him to give Faustite a better advantage.

Eso - Cadet with a dagger
HP: 35
Action: Following Tenoch, reacting?
Damage: N/A
Location: D3 > D2

Eso would continue to follow. It's all he could do. He was confused as to what as happening, why Lyndin had Caedus' starseed. They were all supposed to go home, even Caedus, so why...?

No, he wasn't here to question, as much as it felt wrong. He was here for a mission. He would have to pout aside his own feelings. There was no room for them. As they continued to fall back, Eso stayed on guard of anyone getting too close as he helped carry Nessa to safety still. He wouldn't abandon anyone now.

But a wave of magic washed out and hit him, causing him to hiss and stumble. He didn't take a knee, though. He didn't take any damage, though. He did feel a little weaker. Unfortunately for him, it seemed as though Tenoch was taking the brunt of the damage, and it was pulling at his heart strings. Everything was a whirlwind around them of explosions, attacks, corruptions, and even some ranking ups. There was too much. He was honestly getting a sensory overload.

Sailor Eivissa
HP: 50
Action: Attacking the generator
Damage: 4 + 3 = 7
Autobonus: + 3 (First stage)
Location: B6

Just as she was about to respond to the other senshi, he was attacked. Eivissa whirled around and faced Taenite, a startled expression on her face before Lich cast his magic again. Unfortunately for her, she had only the one attack, and it was to the generator, but maybe she could punch the agent?

So she sprinted, hoping to get to Taenite while he was distracted with the magic. Maybe a double whammy. But before she got there, another agent attacked Lich and that's who Eivissa whirled to attach. She wold have the advantage.

"Hey, blunette!" She yelled, hoping to get his attention. She swung her fist, reeled back, and connected with Diasporite's cheek. Not as directly as she wanted, but it was still a solid punch.

"Think it's nice to gang up on a single guy when I'm standing right here? I don't think so. Come play with me."

She noticed they were about the same height, and that made her grin. She always thought Negaverse agents were taller.

Captain Prehnite
HP: 62
Action: "A turn or two I’ll walk. To still my beating mind" - So Prospero spoke and Stabbed Imbrium in kind.
Damage: 10
Location: B2 --> D2
AutoBonus (For my Memories Sake: 1d10 Dice +4(Faction) +5(Rank)')

Prehnite felt good, shrugged of the damage, watched the Kracken flee into the fray. Watched everything dwindle and swell around him - back and forth, racous and wild. Full of chaos's dark embrace.

The man of purple prose breathed it in and sighed it out. Heard Hatsyas shout from the sidelines. Smiled her way - and gave a wave - motioned onwards, for himself, because she could stay, because he'd not put any of them anymore in harms way than was desired.

The swell of order however?

How could he ignore such easy pickings spread out like a buffet before him. Had been that once, easy pickings, simple prey. Wanted some of his own back - even if it was only stabbing out in the dark - tossing a coin as he crossed a field twenty - forty feet - tossed a dagger laced with poison sting and barb that itched at serrated edge.

Wasn't sure what or who he caught - looked Castor in color - and if he caught another? If he caught other? What did it matter - they were fish in a barrel to him and he was taking cheap pot shots from the side.

Squire Pendour
HP: 75
Action: Trying to grab Caedus's starseed
Damage n/a
Location: D2

It was a machine that she'd struck out at. It was all metal and wires twisted around the odd spire that sucked the energy from the asteroid. She hadn't had any sort of crisis about attacking the thing. She wasn't fighting, she was just breaking down something that was functioning wrong, the same as if she'd popped the batteries out of a fire alarm that wouldn't stop ringing.

At least, that was what it seemed like until something gave.

It sent out a shockwave that passed through everyone except Lyndin.

She'd been watching his eyes as she asked her questions. She saw the awful pain there as all that energy hit him at once. He might not have made a sound, but Pendour screamed.

No. No. This wasn't what she wanted.

None of this was what she wanted, but especially not that. She didn't want anyone to get hurt.

She didn't want to hurt anyone.

Others swarmed Lyndin, clearly angry and desperate. Each one of their attacks pained Pendour, too. She breathed in, trying and trying to ignore the things she could not control. Her eyes flicked to Oberon, making a desperate lunge for the starseed in Lyndin's moment of weakness.

She saw how the jolt of power hurt him, too, as he grew near. She dashed forwards anyway, hands extended to grab the starseed, or to catch it if it fell from Oberon's grasp.

She'd never been afraid of getting hurt if it could save someone's life.

Maybe she'd try to calm the crowd, after. Right now she just needed everyone to survive.

Cadet Daesva -- Blaster Weapon
HP: 15
Action: Returning... with a ******** of questions and zero patience
Damage
Location: F6 -> D2

Daesva felt her stomach roll. Now they'd lost Cydfae, too. Her grip on (Aokigahara). slid a little, though she quickly tried to stable him--and herself. And the Commodore was calling for those of them who were still out there. She'd heard the bits and pieces of the conversations--the shouting, the pleading. The explanations that felt so, so painfully late in coming. That their King had been selfish, and their world was dying. She wanted to trust the Commodore--he was far, far older than any of them. He'd seen far more, experienced far more, understood far more than them.

But the sense of betrayal hadn't left her.

And then the Commodore was hit with another energy wave, and people kept attacking him and--

"I... I need to go," she said softly to Aokigahara. "We've already lost... our Commanders. Our comrades. We can't... we can't lose him, too." Her voice shook slightly, some of that rapidly built facade cracking before she squeezed her eyes shut and took slow, deep breaths. The smell of fire, burning things she didn't want to think about, of other odd scents... they trampled the fresh air she'd enjoyed up on that hill. "And I want answers," she stated bluntly, eyes sliding back open, expression neutral once again. She glanced to the Squire, then to his brother, to help transfer one to the other for support.

"...if your people blame us, or hate us, for the losses you have suffered... I accept that. We have wronged you. I apologize, but I know it will never be enough." She did not know the extent of their losses... but even from where she was, she saw people fall. She saw injuries. If she knew how far the damages went, how many Order had lost in this... well. She already expected the worst. It would be how she would respond to others that had seemingly lured her people into a trap.

The Velencian stepped back, and bowed low to the knights, having no other way to express herself in this moment.

Turning to the where one such comrade of hers lay, she knelt, briefly, beside the cocoon of crystal. A gentle hand rested against the surface, and Daesva for a moment... could not speak. "Ledvin, Glein." When they did come, they felt like poison on her tongue, like spikes in her chest.

Answers. It was all she wanted. One of theirs was gone. Forever. Answers were owed in her mind. Then... she could find those cats once more.

She stood again, and she did not look back as she made her way through the battlefield, back to where she no longer felt she belonged.

Super Sailor Morgan
HP: 20
Action: Attacking the Generator
Damage Base: 9 Rank: +5 Faction Bonus: 0 14
Location: D5 -> B6

"You have one ******** job, Corrupt," Morgan said, her voice cold as she watched him pick up Guinevere. There'd been a level of relief in her to see the starseed taken back from her friend, returned to the aliens. Whole. It would not bring their lost one back... but someday. He could.

It did not keep her from casting the senshi (Lionel) a damning look. "Keep her safe. Or I'll send your starseed back to the Cauldron." A mercy, in its own, she thought. He'd be rid of the Chaos, at least.

As more s**t continued to go south and blow, as something hit Lyndin and people started trying to go for Caedus' starseed... she cursed. "Get her out of here. That s**t looks like a ******** bomb." With how the starseed seemed so broken, how it lashed out... she felt that was a pretty reasonable expectation. For it to just explode on all of them. The Commodore had a special glove, and even he didn't seem safe from its wrath. How could any of them expect to touch it?

She glanced once more at Gwen before Morgan turned away and ran back towards the worst place for her to be. The ******** fire zone.

Her pulse picked up when she saw the blazes, and she had to force herself to breath in slow, deep--and try to avoid the smoke. Her hand shook as she found debris to throw at the generator again. Sadly, she'd had to ditch her metal skirt... But the ranged attack at least kept her out of the worst of the blaze... already she found herself starting to back up. She wouldn't be able to stay in that for long. But if she could help take out that last generator... maybe all of this could just end...

Page Dunwich of Neptune
HP: 50
Action: Crying.
Damage Base: Rank: +3 Faction Bonus: +1 0
Location: B6

She gave a wet, tearful laugh. He did, too, huh? "You're horrible for being here, then," she told him. She was horrible, too, though she didn't say it aloud. Now because of her choice, she might not get back to Tobias. Ever. The thoughts made her hands shake, made her lip tremble. Oh, god. She was going to be losing herself here, wasn't she? She was going to be losing Tobias, and he'd... he'd never know. He'd think she was dead, and her choice was what brought her here, and would hurt him like that...

Dunwich couldn't stop the stronger sobs, nor the tears.

His offer was a barb in her heart, and she cried as she turned somewhat towards him. He'd let Tobias know. Know, what? She wasn't dead? She was still there? God, what if she didn't remember him?

But he'd know. He'd know she didn't leave him on purpose. She swallowed thickly, as she whispered back, "Please... tell him I'm... I'm so-so so sorry. I love him so much I--..." She swallowed again, knowing she was getting off track. She felt like she was going to be sick. "...Eva. Eva Denman."

She'd no concept that in one soft, barely audible breath, she'd shattered her glamor to him.

General Sylvite
HP: 64
Action: Going to protect the last generator, attacking Connie
Damage 6 + 7 (rank bonus) + 5 (nega general bonus) + 5 (chaos round bonus) = 23
Location: Include which grid square they are moving to. You can move to any square at this point in time, however column 1 and 7, and row A and G are being guarded by General Sovereigns securing the perimeter. It is unwise to engage, but not impossible.

Sylvite's generator was one of the last ones to go down, but under the assault, it eventually cracked and fizzled out.

Not totally unexpected, but Sylvite still hissed about it.

The Chaos in the air seemed to be weakening, but it wasn't totally done, yet, There was still one generator working. Sylvite put the pieces together as quickly as she could, and figured that the longer the last generator stayed standing, the more people would end up drawn to their side, and the happier all the sovereigns would be.

Also if she kept fighting, she wouldn't have to stop to think.

With a little nod towards the little team that had done so well protecting their own generator, Sylvite dashed off towards the other one.

A flash of pink caught her eye there, since it was so bright that it stood out against all the other outfits. It was just a Page, so she probably wasn't worth fighting, but-

Sylvite caught a glimpse of her symbol. It was one that she'd only seen once before, but it was burned into her mind.

Just seeing it brought up a whole bunch of old feelings on top of all the new ones, and before she could even process any of that, she found herself lashing out with a knife.

HP: 75
Action: talking is a free action
Damage N/A
Location: F6

Siegenite sighed, shaking his head. The generators were going down, it seemed, one by one--but one still stood firm, and there was quite a lot of chaos clinging to the air.

Which meant that this petty, sharp little defiance was not going to last for long.

He wondered if Mycenae had ever been like that., If there had been a time, before he made his final choice, where the Knight he'd been raged against the potential of falling to darkness. The tragedy of only having his memories as Tristan, he supposed; he would never know what Mycenae had or had not wanted. If that had diverged from what he remembered.

"Rage all you like," Siegenite said, and he put the end of his staff in the ground, leaning on it, "but it will come for you. Chaos is, I think, inevitable."

His Welsh accent still lilted. A piece of his life before. Even if he'd had to let that person go.

He looked back at the last standing generator, and grinned to himself.

"If not tonight, sometime in the future. I ought to know; I used to be a Knight."

He wondered what she would make of the knowledge.

HP: 43
Action: Attacking Asmodeus
Damage Base: 4 Rank: +5 Faction Bonus: +4 Chaos Bonus: +5 18
Location: C5

Was this a logical move for him to make? No. Was he still going to do it? Yep. The Chaos in the air bled into his mind, warped his sense of logic with this sense of strength that pulsed through him. It coiled with a sudden want to destroy the thing he remembered from a future that never happened. Another world, another life, another timeline. It didn't matter that none of those events transpired, it didn't matter that there were two others there fighting alongside her.

"You looked better in black," he said as if it were a a dismissal, a shrug. Like she'd been more of a threat to him as she'd been, rather than as she stood now.

When his blades sank into her skin, he felt glad for it, and even though she shot out a fireball in his direction--oh, that brought back a tinge of a memory--that crashed into his arm and shoulder as he shielded his face. Pain rippled through his limb, the bare hand gripping his sword tightening. The pain was sharper there, where bare skin had briefly been touched by magical fire. He could see the angry color of his skin, how blisters formed and blood welled in areas of raw, broken skin.

All the while, he heard nothing. Save a single, echoing bark from... somewhere. The hair at the back of his neck stood up, expecting to turn and find something there, watching him. It was the bolstering of Chaos that kept him from glancing. His balance was thrown a bit from the silence--it'd come on so quick, swallowing even his own voice when he cursed at the flames suddenly going at him.

A foot slammed into his chest, soundless, and he felt himself grunt though heard nothing. But he could see. He could attack. He'd still fight.

His brow furrowing slightly, lips twisting as a smirk, as close to a genuine smile from Seraphinite as any White Moon Senshi would probably ever see, spread across them. And he lunged for Asmodeus again. Even if he was a bit off his game from the magics being thrown at him.

Quote:
Weapon Magic
Causes anyone struck by the swords to be injected with a poison that gives off a light burning sensation at the point of contact. The area around the wound forms "light cracks"--faintly glowing, lava-crack looking markings that last as long as the burning of the poison does. The cracks are a visual representation of the poison, though can extend further than the point of contact. The poison itself is restricted only to the point of contact, and lingers with the burning sensation for only 10 seconds. Should someone be struck repeatedly by the poison--after the initial effect has already worn away--then the burning sensation builds, akin to someone becoming allergic to a bee sting over repeated attacks.

Corrupt Super Rigel
HP: 64
Action: Attacking Page SQUIRE Richtersveld
Damage Base: 2 Rank: +5 Faction Bonus: +3 Super Chaos Bonus: +5 15
Location: B5

Oh. Oh this was unexpected! Rigel smiled as he watched the knight pull herself out of his magic, and while he was very interested in asking her what it was like... well.

He laughed, clapping as she emerged so much stronger. Bones on his uniform rattled as if clapping in turn, a cacophony of morbid approval and congradulations. "Well, well! That was rather spectacular. I've never seen how one of you gain more power, so thank you for that." Her weapon had... changed. Become more beautiful. And poof. She's stronger. Fascinating. Very different from senshi, and a Negaverse agent from what he understood. Knights just... stood on their own, didn't they?

As she spoke, though, Rigel blinked a few times. Something moved through him, making him stop to consider that. Should he help someone else..? He frowned, brows furrowing as he glanced towards his Captain. Seraphinite, he realized, was biting off probably more than he could chew... huh. He wasn't usually like that. Odd. He could go help the guy... should, really. That's what support senshi did. They supported.

His grin grew, and he smiled so brightly, so cheerfully and innocently, to the Squire (Richtersveld). "Ah! Thank you for that idea. I should. I just want to see what happens this time, then I'll go! Beyond the Mind!" And with a flick, he flung out his magic again at her. "I'd love to hear what it's like!"

Quote:
Beyond the Mind . . . .
Holding his hand up towards a target, Rigel speaks the name of the attack and an inky substance forms as it out of his hand, falling to the floor. The substance stretches out towards the target, regardless of whatever obstacles might be on the floor, and latches onto the target's legs with thorny, fang-like spikes protruding from the tendrils, pulling down on the target. The target then begins to sink into the inky substance up to their knees, with the thorny, inky tendrils rising higher to about their middle, as if aiming to pull them lower. Beneath the dark surface, the target can feel things slithering and moving beneath them, snapping at their feet and legs, and will continue to until the magic ends after 30 seconds. Once the magic is up, the target is back above ground and no trace remains, on them or the ground, of the unearthly material. The target can be damaged by the thorny protrusions of the inky substance, however the creatures beneath the surface are only a figment of their imagination--the player can say the target feels any extent of damage they wish beneath the surface, but the effect would only be in the target's mind, and they would be unscathed by the imaginary creatures. Rigel can only use this against a target within eye-sight and within a range of ten feet, and can only use his magic three times per day. A target can struggle to get free of the material, especially with help, though difficult for anyone of Rigel's rank and could risk further damage from the thorny fangs.

HP: 50/50
Action: Attacking the generator in B6!
Damage: 1 + 3 (rank) + 1 (non-magic faction) = 5
Location: B6

What the ever living <******** a few days prior, a saxophone that he didn't recognize readily had appeared on the ground and he had plucked it up. Turned into some kind of magical Neptunian conductor. Sure. That was his life now, he guessed. He had ignored it as anything significant until he saw text floating in front of his face, and decided that he guessed he would go chase down and figure out what that meant because otherwise, it would bother him, and then he wouldn't be able to relax, and that was just a travesty.

Couldn't have that.

What he found when he arrived seemed to be a few people with purple skin -- aliens, he guessed, quite literally -- first telling them that it was the end of their fight and then bringing the fight to them. Of course. Abzu wasn't entirely sure why he bothered leaving the house.

He might have disassociated for a few moments.

Debated leaving through the gaps between the people who felt the sickest toward the outside.

Debated, again, as the anger of the Chaos that swept over his form took him, if he should just go fight the people keeping them captive. They seemed unbothered by all the drama so this was clearly going according to plan.

Did it even matter if they took down these strange machines?

Abzu almost gave in to the apathy, but he sighed heavily, turned his attention toward the generator, and smacked it just once for good measure.

Just once.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Capt. Idrialite
HP: 75
Action: Experiencing the crushing realization that Chaos would like to steal someone you love away from you!
Damage: N/A
Location: B6

A sigh passed Idrialite's lips. Her condemnations weren't exactly unfair.

"I know. But it's not a choice, not for us. The Queen snaps, and you come. Well-trained dogs, us Negaverse officers are." Not all of them. Some were brave. Some went to the blonde Princess, radiant in white, and grasped at a freedom that it was difficult for Idrilaite to imagine going for. The price....the price was far, far too high.

But he reached for the Page, to steady her, gently.

And then.

The name.

And his eyes went wide, and he recognized.

"Eva?" His voice shook, and part of him wanted to laugh at the hysterical, miserable irony of it all. This had to be some kind of cosmic joke. A game the universe insisted on playing with him. Revenge for his stupid decision to ignore orders and be kind.

"It's me," he said, very softly. "It's Tobias." He hoped it worked the same in reverse--that she would stop seeing a stranger in a red coat and see him, the way he'd suddenly seen her. "I'm so sorry, love."

As if that was at all adequate. As if that even began to cover the ache that filled his chest, the guilt that threatened to overwhelm him.

He was going to lose the last good thing he had, wasn't he? Because of the machine he had been ripped into when Cinnabar shoved her hand in his chest. Because Metallia hungered for as many souls as she could get her filthy claws on.

He wanted to tug Eva close. Wanted to hold her. But he couldn't bring herself to--not when he feared that the revelation that he was one of the monsters fueling Metallia's ever-ravenous drive for conquest might make her never want to touch him again.

General Youma Faustite (with Eternal Super Kamacite)
HP: 169/200
Action: Having a moment with the generator
Damage --
Location: B6

Too much, too much, too much —

White moon flooded like roaches over the battlefield, converging on their generator as a sole food source. Pushing past the last scattered sentinels of chaos charged with keeping the last generator running. His spirits had sunk successively with each downed generator, solidified into a sickening sense in his gut with the console, and now the inevitable surge of half-dead, half-corrupted targets converged on them.

His first thought — Laurelite's thought — was the generator. His second thought was Kamacite. His third, the team and Lysithea. He had to pull back.

Kamacite came to help, to kick out Michel's stance. Faustite had to extricate himself from Michel. Had to melt like water off the knight's back, seethe his way across the firescarred battlefield to the besieged generator now so covered in White Moon. Had to fight his way through to it, desperate for a solution, for a last outpour of energy to sear the roaches off its surface. They had to do better. They had to —

Blackened, fire-drenched hands touched the busted plates of the generator. Patted around it for a console, a control scheme, a touchscreen, it didn't matter. Before, it responded to the heat from his hand, so he touched it again —

Rugose Pendant - A blackened, wrinkled rock set into a silver pendant with an indigo glow trapped inside. It can be found discarded in Negaspace or the Rift. To use the item, an agent or Negaverse senshi must energy drain the rock. Once drained, the rock will crack and disintegrate. The rock's violet light will then envelop the user, cloaking them in the appearance of a youma. A youma aura will overwhelm the user's natural aura, though it will not disguise their aura. Their youma appearance must adhere to youma guidelines for personal or player youma. The user does not gain any special abilities while under the effects of the item, and their current abilities are not typically hampered by the item. The Rugose Pendant's effects last until the character powers down or until 3 hours have passed, whichever is sooner. The Pendant may be used once a day.
