The Reyvateil gave a brief nod and turned to leave. She doubted that the FPD was still be in town, but she was sure she could get some clues from someone down there. And if not, she had a pretty good idea of where they might be headed. Tessia made it to the office door, but paused before exiting. With out turning around, she asked, "Shall I tell him you said 'Hello'?"

Tessia allowed herself a small smile as she exited the room, heading for her own. Her mind was on the encounter she knew was coming. How would she handle it? The last time she had seen the Teru, she had been killed. There was so much that was still hazy in her mind about that day, but one thing she was sure of was that she had died because of him.

Lost in thought, she had reached her room much sooner than expected. She entered the room and was pleased to see several packages on her table. She quickly went through the items and was satisfied with what she saw. Among the items was a short sword with a curved blade. She picked the weapon up and took a few practice swings, testing the balance. Finding it to her liking, she sheathed the blade. It wasn't the best blade she'd ever handled, but it would be more than adequate for what she needed it. The Reyvateil buckled on a sword belt and attached the blade. Next, she pulled a long, green cloak from one of the packages and draped it around her shoulders. It was a little large, but that would be to her advantage.

After a few moments of packing, The Reyvateil was ready to leave. She made her way outside to where her transport was waiting. It would only be a matter of hours, and she'd be in Behdla.

"Wai-wait! The shop!" Nel protested.

"No, Darling. He's right. You're most important to me. Please, sir, this way. There is a back exit down here in the cellar." She lead the way down the stairs to a small room. "Beyond here." Opening a door, she lead the way up a small ladder and crawled out into the backyard of their house. "Please, hurry this way!"

Nel followed closely behind and stopped when they reached the outskirts of the city. "Mother?" She asked.

"Nel, my child. I love you. I love you like the daughter I lost those many years back." The woman hugged Nel close. "When I found you, I thought that it was the Goddess giving me a second chance with a child. But I know it was more than that. You are a very special girl, Nel. Your Hymn... it is a very powerful Song. I've heard it many times and felt the strength. There is a reason you have that power. I know it."

"Mother..." Nel stopped and regarded the old woman carefully. "What are you saying?"

"Please, Sir. I know now that I can't protect my daughter. But I know you can! Please, would you do this favor for me? I know it is a lot to ask, but I beg of you. Save her!"

"Wait, we have to go together!" Nel grabbed her mother by the hand and started tugging on her arm.

"If only I could, my dear. But I have not the stamina nor the energy. I would only be a liability. Do not worry for me. I will be fine." She smiled gently at Nel.

Gannon…


"Miko, get outta there!" Gannon called to the younger of the twins. No good... She's out cold. Gotta do something... Gannon felt the Harmonics go up and grinned. "Alright... Let's try this!" A greenish aura formed around Gannon and the others fighting the FPD Reyvateil and a feeling of strength flowed through them as his Draco's Rage ability too effect, giving everyone a much needed boost in strength and forming a shield around them that would greatly protect them from harm.

~ Hikari ~

It was about this time where Hikari knew for sure that she was getting tired. She struggled to keep singing, but she knew that she wasn't going to be able to keep it up. "I can't go on..." She panted. "I'm sorry!" Hikari had no choice but to let the Song Magic go. She sank down to her knees, gasping for air. The Song took the form of the Shadow Whelp. It flew down to the other Reyvateil and opened it's mouth, blasting her with its fire and dark elemental breath attack.

The Reyvateil stumbled back, dazed for a moment, her attack on Nereus forgotten, but then she ran up to Gannon, in a desperate all-out attack. Once within close range, she let loose one more electric elemental Magic attack with her kicks and punches.

Nereus dodge the electric attack, barely getting his right arm as his sword absorb some of the electric. 'This is good, now I have some form of element to defend myself.' He then rush towards the Reyvateil as he felt something inside him that made him a lot stronger. He saw a glimpse of Hikari as she fell on her knees. He then leap and strike her back with the element given to him. He then step back a bit. He wanted to stab her, but he knew well that it would be wrong to stab a child. He saw this before, he knew what the girl before her had. It was the same as Hikari. Once he grasp that this and what happen to Hikari was the same thing he had a flash-back.
Many of them were gather in the City of Seraca. They were surrounded the house in which he knew very well. Nereus ran toward her house to see what was happening. One of them yell "Get this kid out of here, there is no way that someone will die due to this F.P.D." He did not knew what that acronym meant, but that would not stop him in seeing on what they wanted with Hikari's parents. He climb on a tree to get a better view and saw one of them grabbing an angered yet worried Hikari. He jump from the tree and ran to get her away from them. He kicked and push to get to her, but one of the soldiers hit him with his gun. This took his breath away as he fell on his knees and soon after on the ground with his hand stretch toward his friend. The only thing that was heard of Nereus was a murmur, before he pass out. "Bunie."

His daydream was inturupted by the Reyvateil as he was sent flying a couple of feet. Nereus got a serious burn on his left hand and part of his chest and his right jawbone are of his face. 'Bad time to be daydreaming.' He try his best ot get up, but the sting from the burn was hurting him. He heard the voice of Hikari, and try his best to look at her. "I am a bit scorch, but it will be fine." Nereus felt relived as her song magic was taking affect rather quickly. He could fall asleep right there, and then, but decided to fight his desire to rest. He look at the FPD attacking wildly at Gannon. "Hikari. He needs to be heal much more than me. Let me get her her attention and buy you enough time so you can heal him. I know you may not remember me, but we use to be friends. . .we still are, but I am sure you don't recognize me since it was a long time." He felt much better than when he got the burns. "Let's get going, who knows how long he has until he gets a major injury."
