Colm flinched at her touch, her hand was surprisingly warm. He gently placed his pale hand over hers. "I think that's whats best for the everyone. The war ends and hopefully this place can be whole again. Plus you're a pretty good catch." He smiled, something he wasn't used to. "In your lifetimes have you ever drunken any blood?"

Zig raised a surprised eyebrow at Tassen younger form, but she figured it was just another one of those seemingly endless dragon powers. "Sure I don't see why not," she replied to his question. She was fairly confident that she could fly and carry him as long as he was that size. Her flying skills were pretty good and she was all ready to go after a good night's rest. A lopsided smile appeared on her face as Tassen rubbed his eyes. He looks just like a cute little kid. Hard to believe he's a big, immortal dragon.

Yawns as he walks over to Zig, still tired. "I like how you people always are on the move... but it really makes me tired sometimes just watching you." Gets ready to be flown in whatever way Zig saw fit, and was ready to either be picked up, or carried piggyback style. "I'll be awake by the time we get there, I just want a few more, "Suppresses a yawn again, "Moments..."
(As a note. He is considered a teen still for a dragon or early adult area. He can change his form, and he was feeling more like his childish self, which resulted in him reverting to a form he use to take a thousand years ago. He also figured the smaller size would be handy at this time.) (Also, dragon can change from their true self, to basically any humanoid race in features. They still keep certain features, so he can't change his features to hide form someone in a crowd. He would always have similar features... and Tassen always reverts to a human form out of normal preference.)

"Sounds good to me," Zig answered as she leaned over and picked up Tassen so she could carry him off to their new destination. "To tell you the truth, I'm not all that fond of moving around to do all these jobs. Travelling is fine with me, but I personally prefer to wander a bit aimlessly." She pushed off the ground and pushed the air until they were speeding off to do what they had been asked.

Emeriss emerged from her dimension door spell once again as if it were an elevator. She stepped away from the dark circle as it faded and found herself at the top of the castle's central tower. She walked over to the castling and leaned upon it, resting her head on one hand and looking out over the city. "My, this city certainly has changed since I remember it last. So much more active and robust."

"I've never been placed into a vampire host, no." She said cooly as she returned the smile. "However, I would like to tell you a small idea I've been growing in my mind lately." She removed her hand and stood up, motioning him to follow her as she moved over towards a stack of books. She plucked the one on top, the one she had read most recently. The cover had no title and looked very worn. "Walk with me? I find it so much easier to talk while walking."

Emeriss leaned forward on both arms trying to get a better look at something she spotted off toward the edge of the town. "Is that an arena?! Wow, I guess the whole fight club thing is out though. It's sort of amusing and sad at the same time." She relaxed her position so she wasn't about to fall off the top of the castle anymore. Going back to scanning the town, she sighed. "People don't seem to be as on edge anymore." A rather dirt covered building caught her eye fairly briefly Isn't that the old Mermaid's Tavern? I wonder what happened to it. It was missing when I tried to go yesterday.

Colm nodded and followed her silently. Is that the book I think it is? Which means she wants to... The voice inside of his head trailed off. The vampire shook his head has he walked next to Shina.

As they walked throught the marble halls Shina flipped the book open. "We are two beings that have lived for millenia, having children is probably an impossibilty for both of us. So I propose calling one out from Mystery." She flipped to a page that was covered in runes and symbols. "Do you recognize these? The ancient mages used them." She handed the book towards him. "They are what called out to me, but they were not complete, therefore I am unstable...but if we perfected them, I would call out two children, a boy and a girl. Twins you could say."

Colm took the book and glanced at the symbols. "They are definitely old, older than us for sure. The paper is made of papyrus and the ink blue berries. The person who wrote this was probably an ancient mage is Egypt." The vampire smirked, "The way he moved his hand suggested that he was agitated, he had been suffering fro a while. I'm guessing that the man who wrote this was the original wielder of the mystery." The vampire felt the pages, he had a odd look on his face. "Did you ever feel the pages?" He asked, "There used to be writing here. I wonder...." Colm tried to absorb the book like he usually does with any spell book but was blasted across the room, "Figures, ancient protection spell..."

Emeriss sensed an energy reaction some distance beneath her. It felt like a brief but violent repulsion. Shaking her head in dissapointment she shrugged, "Some people should just learn to read..." She hopped up onto the edge of the tower and stretched. A set of bat like wings emerged from her lower back and opened up as she dove off the ledge and swooped down, laughing maniacaly. As she leveled off, she began to ascend, flapping her wings and taking off across town. "Whoooo! ha ha!"

Shina looked at him somewhat agitatedly. "I heard what happened to Princess Illusion when you cast a protection spell on her, and I doubt anything ancient will be of any good. Can you translate it or not?" She heard the sound of someone diving and looking up in time to see a huge pair of bat wings. What is that thing doing?! She thought as she watched it ascend, and then level off. It was laughing, though she didn't know why. How odd.

"Yes I can, if it was all here... First I need to find away to break the spell in order to unseal the rest of the writing. I'm guessing the mystery is the key so I'm going to need your help." Colm sighed he hated having to rely on the mystery, it was so unpredictable. "This thing is the key though, the first children from ancients in centuries." He smirked he was going to make history. The vampire got closer to the book, his body was drawn to it, but why? He would need to dig deeper into this. "Are you going to stand there or help?"

"No, I'm going to stab you in the back while you try to read a book." She came over and glared at him. "Of COURSE I'm going to help, don't make me want to kill you." It seemed that they truly did have a love-hate relationship. She placed her hands on the cover and began to release her essence into the pages, she couldn't stop or control what began to happen. The air cracked with lightning outside as it began to hail. "It won't stop taking till its had enough!" She yelled, somewhat alarmed at the unexpected drain.
