"You're here. Good." The woman paused, then decided it best not to make any small talk. This Reyvateil was a very reliable asset, however not very personable. Shallow sentiments would get Naomi nowhere with this one really quickly. "I'll get right to the point, then." The woman had her back to the Reyvateil, staring out the window. She turned around and adjusted her glasses, staring pointedly at the other red head. "I've sent for you to oversee some things in place of me over here." She approached the other female, holding a small folder which she opened and handed a picture of a young blonde-haired girl. "This girl. She's the FPD Weapon that recently escaped. I've been investigating her disappearance and matters over here up until this point. However, I'm unable to continue as I've been asked to look after affairs at HQ. Which is why I've decided to assign you to do some undercover investigation in my stead." Naomi waited for the Reyvateil to finish studying the picture of the FPD before continuing. "She is speculated to be travelling with a male-prototype Reyvateil, and a ß-pureblooded type Reyvateil. Also a few members from the Teru Tribe as well. They were last seen headed for the small town of Behdla. I was also informed of a former employee being summoned out to that town soon after to perform maintenance in the dive shop there." She waited for the girl to process this information before continuing.

She took the offered picture, instantly committing the image to memory. The Reyvateil was silent as Naomi went over the details of her mission, wondering why she had picked her for this assignment until she brought up the Teru. Images of her former life flashed by in her mind. An eyebrow raised as she looked up from the picture at Naomi. "Teru?"

Naomi let no emotion show as she spoke. "Yes. Several members of the Teru Tribe are accompanying her. The reason I chose you, is that I feel you are the most reliable one to take on a mission like this. However feel free to refuse if you like. I wouldn't force you into something if you are not confident that you can handle it."

Gannon…

At the first notes of Miko's healing song, Gannon could feel the pain lesson and his strength return. "Much better. I owe ya one, Kid!" The Teru drew on his magic, forming it into a sword. "Here we go!" As he took his first steps toward the FPD, a feeling of power came over him and he knew that the harmonics were rising. As if in response, the Reyvateil took aim at the defenseless Hikari. "Hang on, I'm on it!" He quickly covered the distance while the FPD was powering up and put himself in between Hikari and their opponent. "Take this!" Gannon swung his blade in the direction of the FPD, firing off a blast of super cold liquid that looked more like a stream of blue fire than anything. Droplets of the liquid fell to the ground, hissing as they touched the ground, freezing on impact.

Several explosions that were coming from the town woke Nereus up. He open his eyes very slowly as the ground was shuttering due to him being unconscious for a long time. 'I wonder if the others had left. . .' After looking at the ground for some time her sits down with his hand behind him as he ponder to himself. 'If they have left, then I sh. . .' An explosion made him lose his thought. "Wonder wha. . ." He then thought about what Miko said. "So her prediction came true, maybe they did leave to somewhere else." Nereus stood up and began to walk toward the explosion. "No reason to be here, might as well go." He left out a huge sigh. "I am glad that Hikari is safe with them, and that I got the chance to see her." He continue to walk two streets apart on where the fight was taking place. He look at the sky and saw no ship. 'If they are not here, and a fight is still going on around where I am at, then that means that they might still be here.' He scratch the back of his head as he did not knew on what to do next.

Mana~


Mana felt the effects of the healing spell right away. "Whew. Thanks, Sis!" She jumped back into the fray. Suddenly, she had an idea. There were still people in town hiding in homes and buildings all around them. Maybe she could try to lead the Reyvateil out of the village so no more buildings or houses would be destroyed. It was worth a shot.

In the meantime, the Reyvateil sang a Song of fire. The blazing inferno raged around her, melting any ice that came towards her. "Hahahaha! I HEAR THEM!" Her magic power spiked and the hot blast scorched everything around her within a radius of 10 feet.

"Damn it! She's resonating with other FPD's! This ain't good!" Mana knew she had to do something to get the FPD away from the population. She was beginning to tap into and connect with the other Reyvateils. She glanced down on the ground and noticed a coin. "Hmm..." She picked it up and an idea occurred to her. She threw the coin up into the air right in front of the other Reyvateil. Then pulled out her gun and at the same time cast a duplication spell. "Storm Waltz!" It was her first time trying to mix her physical attack with magic spells. She pulled the trigger and the bullet struck each of the coins, striking the Reyvateil target they were aimed for.

Her attack drew the attention of the Reyvateil who began attacking Mana. "Nyah, nyah, you can't catch me!" Mana dodged again and drew some more attention of the FPD, and getting her to move closer to the outskirts of town.

The FPD became angrier, and pretty quick Mana found herself on the run.

Mana tried to dodge another fire Song hurled at her but misjudged the distance, and the force of it knocked her all the way back through a house and onto someone who happened to be on the opposite street that the fight was going on. "Oof!" She landed on top of someone, and despite her own injuries scrambled to get off. "Ah, sorry!" She then noticed who it was. "Nereus! Hey! You ok? Aw, man I killed him!"

The force from the explosion of fire Song Magic that knocked Mana away, blasted through the Dive Shop, and the entire structure crumbled to the ground.

The Reyvateil raised an eyebrow as Naomi spoke. Her previous thoughts were confirmed. "Behdla... If I take a transport, I believe I can be there in a matter of hours. I trust that I'll be traveling alone." Tessia moved to the desk and quickly wrote down a short list of supplies, including a cloak and a short sword, and then handed the list to Naomi. "Here's what I'll need. If you can supply these, then I can leave within the hour. Will that be all?"
