Mel Brooks a goose, he is a crack up. Wasn't he in the Monty Python Movies? I love the part where they are pretending to be riding a horse, that's technically invisible, but supposedly there for them.. rofl
Did you send out invites in advance so that they can RSVP? Otherwise they may not know about your party plans.. gonk

Nah, Mel Brooks is American, Python's British. There are no crossovers that I know of.
Facebook is a pretty darn good party planner, and people chatted a bit about the party before today, so the guests are aware of it. I honestly don't know what's going on.
If they couldn't make it, they could have at least told me :/

Are the friends on Facebook, also friends in reality?
For some unknown reason, I though Mel was in the Monty movies.

Thought I would drop in and say hi since I'm done with the 50k quiz for the night. I'm on question 270! xD I still have a ways to go.

I haven't drunk nearly enough in close enough intervals to get drunk yet, plus I've eaten and drank water in addition to the alcohol.

That's very rude of them to not tell you. They could have at least phoned up, and said yes or no. It' does not take long to make that phone call. Some people are just idiots.
But I'm glad you're enjoying the movie and at least one friend was nice enough to make it.
