You know you're too obsessed when people tell you you need to stop.

Your too obsessed when your language teacher calls in late and tells the secretary for you to teach the class until he gets then.

Your way too obsessed when more than one teacher lets you teach the class for a while.

Wow. That's cool!

Speaking of teaching the class, when I was in year 9, one day the ICT teacher was away, and she told the substitute that the class is working on something, but if anyone has any questions they can ask me. That was awkward considering that I actually missed two weeks of class before that. xd

- You write kanji linerider tracks
- You get mad because you can't figure out how to download from quicktime so that you can get Japanese stories on your ipod.
- You get even madder when you can't put games on ipod and therefore can't get Penpen.(it's a kanji learning game.)
- You write a letter in French using the cyrillic alphabet and when your friend asks you in Spanish what you're writing you instantly reply "tegami."
- The pretty colours of the foreign languages guild are seducing you into not folding your laundry. sweatdrop

...When being in a party with people from more than 10 different countries is the equivalent of a multiple orgasm.

...When your drunk friend starts speaking to you in Spanish, even though you don't speak Spanish, and you somehow understand.

...When you go to karaoke and sing Dragostea Din Tea just to add another language to the list of languages represented that night, despite the fact no one present actually speaks Romanian.

All true, by the way. cool

You can go on for hours about languages or anything even remotely related to it.

If your boyfriend says "I love you" in a different language, it automatically means much more.

You have memorized "I love you" in 10 languages.

I do this. Frequently. sweatdrop I don't even realise I've done it until the person talking to me gives me a blank look and then asks me to repeat what I just said. In English... redface

@Mousy spell-checker: don't worry. I had the same thing happen to me in year 10. We were working on a language assignment, and the teacher told the class that if anyone needed any help, they could ask me....so they took him to his word... eek

...your iPod doesn't contain one word of your native language.
...you have changed your mobile phone settings to another language.

(Both true for me!)

You wake up at 4:30 in the morning and can't get back to sleep because your brain keeps trying to translate a song(one of the few you actually like from your native language) into the language you've been studying nearly constantly lately.
