You know you're too obssessed with languages when...
...you learn languages because you like learning them as opposed to intending to use them for something. domokun
...you dream in a foreign language. domokun
...you dream of a career relating to one or more languages. domokun
...the Foreign Languages Guild is the only guild that you are a part of.
...you can speak 5 or more languages fluently and are dying to learn more.
...you do poorly in school because you spend too much time learning languages as opposed to doing your homework. domokun
...you have conquered the impossible - you can speak Russian perfectly. domokun
...staying up 'till 2 or 3 in the morning learning kanji is your idea of fun.
...you turn down an invitation to a party because you're supposed to have a French class at that same time, and you'd rather be introduced to the French subjunctive mood than be introduced to new people. domokun
...you read more books in foreign languages than you do in your mother language. domokun
...you pretend to be sick so that you can stay home and do some Italian instead of going to school.
...you mutter at people in German when you're angry. domokun
...you decide that you want to learn certain languages (e.g. Russian, Hungarian, Chinese) just because you expect them to be hard and you want a challenge. domokun
I'd love to hear what you guys'll come up with xd
Oh and by the way, the ones that have a domo-kun beside them are the ones that apply to me wink

...you pay tons of money to go to another country just because you want to hear what the language there sounds like.
...you get in trouble at school for doing extra French work in math class. domokun
...you listen to music in a language that you don't even understand, just because you think that language sounds pretty. domokun

1.You right poetry and songs in another language.
2.You translate english songs into the language you are learning.
3.You offer to pay to do others foreign language home work.
4.You beg to see a foreign language textbook of a students a level or two higher than you.
5.You suck up in the language to that language teacher.

You know you've been in Latin AP (Advanced Placement = College level) too long when:
1. You don't know what you'd do without footnotes
2. You no longer use the sound 'vuh'
3. 'Gallia est omnia divisa in partes tres...' is your IM away Message.
4. You sleep with your copy of The Aeneid under your pillow
5. You can count the number of people in your class on your fingers without using your toes
6. You know more words for 'water' or 'sea' than verbs.
7. The choir director yells at your for pronouncing Church Latin 'properly'.
8. It's now about 'winning' anymore, it's about beating last year's score (Medusa Mythology exam, National Latin Exam, Certamen...)
9. At the end of a sentence verbs go.
1, 2, 3, 5, 6 (though a little exaggerated), 7, 8 and 9. guilty of I am.
